A short YouTube interview (host Nate Tilley with guest Emmanuel) offering practical fitness advice: track macros and weekly progress, emulate someone who looks like your goal, prioritize functional/functional fitness, and focus on recovery and longevity (warm-ups, sleep-related recovery). The tone is conversational, motivational, and practical.
What's up, everybody? I'm here with Emmanuel. Emmanuel trains a lot of the guys at the Elliott group. Look at this physical fitness. This man is in right here. He is in immaculate shape. So what would you say to somebody that's starting out on their fitness journey? Maybe somebody like me, you want to put on some weight, you want to put on some muscle, what would you say? So a lot of people, they got it twisted. So it's very simple, but it's hard to do. So one thing's for sure is you got to track. A lot of people don't want to track, but you got to track your macros.
You got to make it very simple for these people, right? So it's like I gotta get you to track your macros and I gotta get you to check in weekly because we gotta get eyeballs you. I got to see your measurements, I got to see your pictures. I got to be like, okay, so maybe you got to switch up your rep braces. I don't know. You know, there's a lot of stuff we got to do, but a lot of people don't understand how much it is. They want this body. They don't want to do what it takes to get to the body. And so that's what I say is just like get you a person that looks like how you want to look.
You know, I believe.
In functional fitness. So functional fitness. I want to be able to dunk. I want to be able to.
You know, look good.
I want to be able to feel good. So the biggest thing is longevity. So I teach longevity, like recovery. I do everything, like, as far as, like warm ups, recovery before you go to sleep. Recovery is the key.
