This is a short transcript excerpt from the YouTube video "Strategies That Help Our Clients To Sell More Cars" (Nate Tilley, Apr 22, 2023). In this fragment Brian and another speaker discuss optimizing the seller intake funnel: requiring prospects to complete more of the funnel (so there is "skin in the game"), using automation messaging to request more information without sounding demanding, and thereby pre-qualifying leads ("removing the crap from the good") as the program scales. Brian also plans to add visual social proof (photos of people holding checks) into the funnel/communications.

And so we want to be engaging with people, really, once they've filled out the information, we have information on their car. There's no skin in the game until they put some flipping work in. And we can reference in that automation like, hey, due to the high level of inquiries or high level of people that want to sell their cars, here's what we need to move forward in this process. We need you to fill out this funnel, but we're not going to say that we need you to do this funnel. And then once that's done, you can call us or I'll call you. And then that way we kind of have a lot of that legwork automatically. It's just filing out the good from the bad. You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, I.
Think that's really key. So as we scale up, then we can just continue to dial it in and make it more strategized on. Like removing the crap from the good.
Exactly.
So that's that. And then we need to update the funnel.
Yep.
And within that funnel, I'm going to give you some pictures of people holding checks. I already have them. So then. Oh, nice.
That sounds great, man. Send those over. We'll use those for ads for the funnel. Bro, this is going to be so sick. Brian, I'm so glad that you did this, man. I'm so glad you did this.
