The Highest ROI Email Funnel EVER Made (10x Ad ROI)

Alex Becker walks through the six-week email funnel that drives roughly 25% of Hiros' sales. Two immediate call-page emails filter out non-openers, then a bootcamp covers scaling ads, saving money, AI, and LTV. The funnel hits $52 average revenue per lead with a 5x lifetime value by week 25, and often lifts ad performance 30-50% for clients.

Hyruleans it is. I. Let's not start videos like that. Hey, this is Becker, CEO of Hiros. What's going on? I want to walk you through my email funnel that is responsible for a substantial amount of our profits at Hiros. I can't give an exact number, but I'd say about 25% of our sales come from our six week email follow up funnel. And that's a huge chunk of sales. When you compare it to our ad spend. If we did that, our ads would be almost 25% less profitable and that's a real bummer. So I want to show you this funnel because I think if you apply it to your business, it could go and increase your sales by up to 50% or at least 25%. A lot of times people ignore their email funnels because they think it's like a fun bonus round you don't really need to do. When you look at the stats of what we're running right here and you look at the tracking stats of where our sales are coming from, it would be preposterous. It would be bonkers. It would be biblically silly to not run an email funnel. So I'm going to break down our funnel, how it works and show you how we run ads to it and then show you also how it interacts with our ads and how now you might also be wondering, Alex, why are you showing me this? Is this some pitch for Hiros? No, not at all. It is to help you make a lot more money so that when you do make more money from your ads, you then go and say, hey, I want to track my ads to make even more money. And then you buy hios and then you use this content to make even more money from your ads and then you upgrade your account at hios. I really want you to do that. So I'm just going to tell you everything I've learned about scaling my businesses with ads in hopes that you'll scale your ads as well. So let's get into it. Okay guys, so we're at my legendary whiteboard of truth and justice. And and I want to break down our six week email follow up process. And you're probably wondering, Alex, why six weeks? Well, if you actually go in the Hiros leased under my account, I'm just going to go to my reporting section right here and then just go to my overview of sales. And if I go and look at the sales that have came in, let's just go look at this guy who came and purchased, you can see this person clicked all the way back in February of this year and it is August right now. Okay. It took him almost six months to buy. So when I was going through all my tracking in Hiros, I noticed people are waiting a long time to go and buy something, often months to weeks. So really, six weeks is actually a short period of time. I can actually see multiple people clicking emails through the entire process as well. And so when people come in to my business, I'm able to see them interacting with all of our emails for a long period of time. And what I noticed was, whoa. These emails are generating most of our calls after the initial ad and after initial click. If we're not running these emails, we're not going to get as many calls. We're just hosed. And so I decided to go overkill with this because as you can see, it's taking people long periods of time. This person right here clicked in December of last year, bought in August. Takes people a long time to make that buying decision. And emails are one of the number one ways we're dragging people back. And we're doing that via a very specific process. And I want to stress, first off, you don't need to use high roast email to do this. This plugs into anything. You can do this anywhere. Okay? You can use this email funnel in activecampaigns, you can use this in mailchimp, you can use this in whatever you want. Tracking it might be a little bit harder, but you could still use this exact same email funnel. So how our email funnel works is a person opts in and then goes through a sales call funnel, which is talked about also on this blog. And if you want to see how that sales call funnel works, it will be recommended at the end of this video. And if you're on the blog itself, it will just be right underneath this video. Just go check that out. So I'm not going to bother breaking down how the sales call funnel works because it's broken down there. Once they get into the sales call funnel, they're going to go through a week long process which its main goal is to get them to still book a call with us. And so there's going to actually be three emails in this. When they first join, we're going to send an email right away. We're going to send them a second email right away. If they don't click either of these two emails, this is a huge pro tip. They're completely removed from the list. We never email someone if they have not opened our first two emails because if you're mailing out consistently, you're not getting a 35%, 40% open rate. You're just going to get knocked off Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail. They're not going to deliver, they're not going to deliver your emails. So after these two emails right here, what we're going to do is if they opened either one of these, we're going to send them one last, hey, get in here. Like this is your last opportunity to book a call. Just come call us now. It's gonna be super cool kind of thing. I'll get into the actual breakdown of these emails here in a second and then they get sent into what I like to call our boot camp email funnel. And so what our bootcamp funnel does, and I'll show you the pages for all these here in a minute, is it walks them through a four part training that has multiple different angles for Hiros. So the first video focuses on scaling ads. The second video focuses on saving money with ads. The third one focuses on scaling with AI. The fourth one focuses on using LTV to grow. Next they didn't go into our training funnel which lasts about four weeks at this point in time. And what this does is we really want people to join our community and we really want people to appreciate our brand overall. The thing about building a long term business is this doesn't have to be everything to do with email marketing. I'll just tell you this, you want people to join your cause, you want people to have that apple like effect, you want them to be part of your community, you want them to really overall be a fan of your business. The best way to do that is to not just provide a service but to also provide a lifestyle for what we're doing at hires. It's a lifestyle of running ads super effectively. So we provide training to help them with that lifestyle. So what we do at this point in time is we send them a training. I would say about once to twice a week. We send training out every three to four days. And so sometimes that will always land on weekdays, but sometimes it will hit them on a Monday, sometimes we'll hit them on Tuesday and that's when we're going to send out the training. This training is going to deliver to them training that teaches them something cool and then ties it back into hieros and then it's going to offer them two offers at the end of it or at least a chance to book a call. And the video it's like, hey, by the way, if you want to See how to do a lot of things I did in this video. You can track it with hires, or if you want more information on the ad tactics, you can check out our ad consulting as well right here. And so we're going to do that for weeks and weeks and weeks. And so this is not actually that complicated. We go to a call us now funnel to a boot camp funnel to a training funnel. So what we're doing right here is we're really hitting them with every possible angle. When they come in through the original funnel, we try to send them back to the funnel and give them the book a call at all cost because that's the goal of the funnel. A lot of times when people come into your funnel the first time, they just don't have time to watch your sales videos or whatever you have going on after the opt in, whatever happened when they first clicked, they just don't have time. So we want to hit them up a bunch of times. Maybe they will have time and then make a final call to action saying, hey, this is all the benefits I know you maybe not have, maybe you have not watched the sales video, but we're going to show you some really cool stuff. So come book this call. The boot camp right here really lets them sell themselves because we send them a bunch of videos that take them to a boot camp that lets them pick what's most important to them and then it converts them based on that, it trains them on it and then makes a pitch specifically to what they selected as important to themselves. The training just hits them up in every single way and shows them use cases for our software while actually helping them out, getting them as part of our Facebook community and really make them go. We wow, this is some great information. And I could really make a lot more money with Hiros. One of the key benefits to selling something that actually works and gets results like Hiros is when a person comes on to hire us, they routinely make 30 to 50% more from their ads. If we can just make them understand that they will buy Hiros. And so the goal of the training is just to make them understand that say, look, you plug this in on what I just talked about, you're going to make a lot more money. And we don't have to be pushy, we don't have to be crazy about it. We can just train people and show them how it works. So I want to show you a few keys to this before I show you the actual pages in the funnel itself. There's two things you really need to keep in mind with email funnels. So this is really bad. This is one of the worst things about running email funnels with ads. If you're running ads with an email funnel, let's imagine a person goes and opts in. So a person can go through this opt in right here. And two really nasty things happen. If you're tracking your emails and your ads as a both as sources. Let me explain. So when a person comes in and you're tracking it and you say, okay, I want to track if the person came from email 1, email 2, etc. This even happens with organic sources, but let's just limit it to email in this example, email 1 and email 2. So what's going to happen when we're running ads? Let's imagine we spent $100 to get this person in the funnel. If, if the person clicks email 2, email 2 is going to get credit for the click. This is going to happen in Google Analytics or even any tracking software out there. And that's really stinky because we're not going to see that this ad is actually what's generated the click. But on the flip side, if we ignore emails, we don't track them at all. We're only going to see that this ad generated the click. And we're going to think, okay, cool, we need to keep running traffic to this ad. However, that's not going to work because email number two is what's actually closing it. So you're not going to think email number two is important. So you might be take the email down or not focus on it or just leave it kind of messy and not delivering as high as it possibly could be. And you're not going to focus on email too. And so you're not going to be able to see that, whoa, this ad is what's generating the sales and this email is what's closing the sales. You're just going to see one big broad picture, which is either this email is where all the sales are coming from and it's just a mysterious question mark of what ads are generating the sales, or hey, this ad is generating the sales and you don't understand how it's interacting with the rest of your business organically. So how I solve this problem is I'm able to separate my sources based on what they are. I'm able to separate my sources based on ads and whether they're based on email. So then I can actually view my tracking with these separated or together. So I can view tracking with everything all at once put together. Or I can make it so, hey, look, if it's an email source, ignore it. Okay, so I can see strictly what ads are generating sales. Or I can say, hey, look, only look at email sources. So if I'm looking at it this way, my ads are completely ignored and I can view what emails are performing best in the business, or I can view them together, which is not the best way to view it because again, you're seeing mixed signals. So I don't really know how you'd fix this on your own outside of Hiros, but I'm going to show you what I do just because I want you to know everything that I do in general. So I have two different types of sources. I have email sources and then I have normal sources. And so all this really means is whenever I'm going and making a link in any of my emails, I just add this to it. I put el equal and I put the email's name or whatever, something that indicates to me that it came from email. And so this is going to create another source type inside of Hiros that is going to allow me to separate the sources. You can see, when I go and look at my types of sources right here and I click edit, I can select the type of traffic source it is. I can select it as an email source. And so what this will allow me to do is when I'm loading up reports, I can go and make it so it includes email sources. It ignore email sources so I can see only what ads are draining sales, or I can show only email sources. So I can isolate what emails are actually generating me sales in the business. So I can go right here, hit generate report for the last, I don't know, day or so. And then when I go and load up the report, I can see, okay, these are all my calls that came directly from my emails, which I named Hiroscom. Okay, So I can see all my sales that came from emails. And if I wanted to map it down to even specific emails, I, I can do that. I can also see where all my calls came from that didn't click in emails. So I can see. Wow, okay, cool. In the last couple days, weeks or So, I got 34 calls from emails. So I definitely want to turn these on. And if I go through and look at these, I can see a significant amount of these people are interacting with the emails in some way. So I definitely want to keep these emails running, I definitely want to attribute them. And then of course, I can just go and run a report that only includes my ad sources. So I'm not mixing things up between my email and my ads. So I can see exactly, okay, these calls were generated by these ads. They might have clicked another email later on, but the email sources will not be included as the click source in this report. So I can see are these the ads that are generating where the customers are coming from? And then I can look at another report and say, are these the emails that after the ads are clicked, after the people come from ads are generating me the best ROI from the people that came from ads? Because they're two different parts of the business. You don't want them taking credit for each other or interacting together. Because, because you want to see which emails are performing the best so you can optimize those ones and you want to see which ads are optimizing the best. You can optimize those ones so you have the most optimized ads running to the most optimized emails. If you're trying to do both, you're going to end up turning off ads because it doesn't look the ad generated the sale or you're going to end up saying, oh, these emails aren't generating sales and only look at the ads. It's a mess. If you do that. This is the best way to do that. And this is how I do that because I wouldn't be able to see, okay, this email right here is really, really good. Then it's really, really good when it's connected to this ad right here. So that's how I run things. So that's the first big thing to keep in mind when you're running your email campaigns. The other thing you really need to be aware of is you need to know the LTV of every single opt in and person that enters your email funnel or you're not really going to be incentivized to do this. So I can come right here and I'm going to go and look at the long term revenue for a person that comes in here. So this is why you want to be doing email and all this follow up process because you can see exactly how much money you make through the follow up process and then start optimizing. So you can see right here, it usually cost me about $10 to get a person to opt into this funnel. You can see on average I make about $52 back for every single person that comes in. But by week two I've only made about 50% ROI. About 150% ROI. By week 25 I've 5x my money that's very, very, very important for running email funnels and optimizing them. So I wanted to point out those two things. So let's actually get into the email funnels themselves. So what I want to do is actually walk you through exactly where we send people and the exact process that we send them to. So first thing that happens after a person opts in is we're going to send them back to. We're at this place in the funnel right here. We're going to send them back to the call page. So what's going to happen right here is we're going to send them back to this page twice. Okay? So a person comes through, we send them back here twice. We really want them to watch this video and see the benefits of hire us everything it do. Show them all the testimonials we've got from just huge brands and everything in between and then get them to book a call. And so we'll do that twice. We'll send them right there. Then the next thing we're going to do is after those first two emails, we're just going to send them straight to a page which doesn't have the sales video. It doesn't beat around the boost. There's no persuasion techniques. It's like, hey, look, if you want to make more money from your ads, just book a call. And so we send them here now and it just goes straight. It just has a straight video that says, hey, this is the results you can get. This is how we can improve your business. Take it or leave it. And the person can come down here and they can book another call. And again we show them results and whatnot. And so that's the first part of our funnel. Again, if a person doesn't open one of those first two emails, we remove them from the list altogether and they don't go further down the funnel. Now the next place they're going to go after that first funnel is to our boot camp. And so we're going to send them three, three emails sending them to this boot camp. And the reason why I want to send them to this boot camp is we hit them with different emails that apply to different angles that they're going to enjoy. So this boot camp right here, first email we're going to send them is all about scaling. The next one's about saving. The next one's about scaling with AI. And so what's going to happen is a person's going to land here and they're going to be like, oh, cool, I want to learn how to scale. But then they might also see something else that tickles their fancy. Okay. So they're able to say, hey, whoa, okay, I want to see how to use LTV data. And I have a sales call funnel and this supposedly crushes it for that. So I want more information on that. So the person is able to basically sell themselves by picking what's of most interest to them and then they get closed based on what's most interesting to them and told to book a call based on that interest. We're going to send them three emails. One, two, three. I think we're going to be adding a fourth email here soon. And it just sends them to this boot camp because we want to get them there and we want them to sell themselves because they didn't book a call right here and they are a qualified customer. They're going to find something that makes them go, whoa, okay, cool, I should do this. Because there's something at high risk that will increase their business by at least 20%. We just have to figure out which thing makes sense to them to book a call for. Then after that they're going to go down to our training funnel, which is basically kind of what you're on right now. This is a long funnel that comes through and where we're going to send them to is our blog. Why do we do that? Well, first off, we want people to be part of our brand. We want people to see us as a resource for great information. If we deliver great information. When people do make more money from their ads, they're going to think about us. It's such a win win when people join, hire us because again, they come on, they give us, let's say $10 a month, they make $100 per month. It's basically the easiest way to upgrade your business ever. So if we can just be in their mind, we're going to be there when they want to grow farther. So what we're going to do is we're going to send them to our blog where we have training on it. And then at the bottom of the blog, what is going to happen is they can then go and check out other people trainings that are going to be interesting to them. And so what we're also going to do is we're going to send them to, of course, the chance to book a call after each training. But we're not going to pitch hard. That's important. I just want to make it very clear we don't pitch hard in these trainings. We just show People like, hey, this is what we do. And frankly, using high risk tracking is, it's critical to my business. I can't run my ads without it. And so naturally when I go through the training I'm like, oh by the way, this is how I use high risk with it. The same way I showed you with email. Then at the end of the tram say, oh, by the way, if you want to see those things I was using high risk for, or you want that same thing done to your business, go here, book a call with us. On top of that, we do upsell a training. My YouTube consulting program has more seven and six figure results than any other program I can think of. And so also when people are watching and say, hey, maybe I want to get help with ad training as well. So I'm going to go click here and then we're going to send people to our Facebook group so they can interact with our customers and see all the great things going on. And then we're going to send them to other trainings that will help them out. So again, they're kind of able to pick how they want to be sold to and they basically tell us what's important to them and then we train them on it and then we also show them how hires can help them do that as well. And so this is everything that we do in our email funnel and that's just, we're just going to keep sending people down that funnel as long as we can. We're constantly adding new training. So long story short, the person isn't blasted with spammy emails saying, hey, bye bye, bye, bye bye. We constantly help them every time we open or we send them an email. One other thing I want to include in this is about every three to four emails we just send them straight back to this call to action page. Just hey, you know, I know you've been enjoying the training. Would you like us to set this up for you? Would you like help setting this up? Come over here, book a call if that's the case. If not, just enjoy the rest of the training. This simple follow up funnel right here is responsible for so many of our sales calls. You saw just straight up, people wait months to book calls. And frankly when people come into the business, you can see it takes them a while to actually buy something. You can see by week two, if I was going just off my week two results or what's being reported and I don't know, my Facebook ads tracking, it wouldn't look too great because Facebook isn't going to Catch this. And so you can see right here, I can see the majority of what people buy when they come through. So I know exactly what they're buying and where the sales are coming from. And I can see, hey, okay, I need to invest in the long term because really the best place for me to make money is to keep buying these leads for $10, sending them through my email funnel and then maximizing it. A $52 ROI on a $10 investment. It's better than bitcoin. So that all being said, guys, this is how we run our email funnel. Those are all the pages we send people to. Long story short, if you want to see how to track things and separate your email tracking the way I talked about before and track it so you can see what emails are maximizing your revenue, see exactly where the sales are coming from. Long term, you can just book a call with us and we'll help you set up highroads. Below it's a 90 day refund guarantee. So if you don't see fantastic results like I've talked about in this video, you don't pay. On top of that, if you want help actually building these funnels and seeing the marketing strategies and ad strategies I'm doing, I reveal a ton of them on the blog. However, you can book a call with me below and we can actually go through your business and I'll show you how I would set up funnels for your business, how to run it for your YouTube ads, how to connect this to YouTube ads, and even how to do this with Facebook ads as well. It's basically a whole entire ads masterclass. You can talk to me about that below. There's more info on it if you just click underneath the ad strategy. Finally, check out our Facebook group below. We have over 40 million a month in ad spend already in the group. Media buyers are spending combined $40 million per month. We only allow media buyers in who have significant ad spend. So it is by far the best Facebook group for media buyers on Facebook. So I would check out those three things and then just be on the lookout because we post more training like this every single week. And I'm just gonna send it to you and just teach you everything I know about ads so you can scale your ads and maybe eventually you'll hop on hero. So this has been Alex Becker subscribe to our YouTube channel as well. If you're watching this on YouTube, we put up videos every single week. That's it. I never.
