A brief YouTube Shorts clip by Nate Tilley arguing that the strength of a sales offer is more important than persuasive arguments: founders should create "godfather offers" that prospects "can't refuse." Persistent objections or price resistance signal the offer's perceived value is lower than its price, indicating the need to strengthen the offer rather than argue more.

I have a saying that if the offer doesn't keep the founder up at night, then it simply isn't strong enough. You see, most people are walking around with resistible offers, just offers that are so easy for your prospects to refuse. What you really want to have is what I call a godfather offer, which is an offer that's so good your prospects simply can't refuse. A compelling offer is infinitely more powerful than a convincing argument. If you find yourself constantly dealing with objections in the sales cycle, or people aren't convinced with the price that you're asking, then that is a telltale sign that the offer that you're making to your prospects simply isn't strong enough. Because a transaction takes place where value exceeds price, and when you're getting a lot of resistance, it's just meaning that in the eyes of the prospect, the price that you're asking is far greater than the value that it is that you're providing or the problem that you're trying to solve.
