What Successful People Know That Others Don't (Life-Changing)

Transcript of a YouTube video featuring Nate Tilley and Andy Elliott at an Elliott Group event in Fountain Hills/Scottsdale, AZ. The speakers discuss paid advertising (paid ads) as a transformational business skill, personal development habits (health, urgency, brotherhood), Nate’s origin story and epiphanies about giving and growth, and event details (talks, attendees, community-building). The piece mixes informal conversation, motivational coaching, and practical marketing anecdotes.

Are your ads on fire? Well, they will be when you hire me to do your marketing. I'll help increase your ROI, leads and appointments guaranteed within 30 days or I'll work completely for free. Let's turn your ads up and get your business absolutely on fire and explode your sales for 2024 and 2025. Let's roll. Another day in beautiful Fountain Hills. About to go to a little breakfast meetup with the Macklin twins. And then later, we're going to be meeting up and going over to Andy Elliott's house right here in the heart of Fountain Hills. Got a nice little villa, chilling out, pool, everything. So I'm super excited. One of the main things that I want to learn here, obviously I'm here to give and provide value and make as many connections as possible, but one of the main things that I'm looking to get out of this weekend is just really learning what the next 90 day plan is for me. You know, I've accompl accomplished a lot of my goals. And one thing that I've realized is once you accomplish a goal, it's so important to replace that with a new goal and start going for it and of course, celebrate your wins. But it's so easy to just start drifting and start getting lost and start getting comfortable and complacent. So here I will leave with a battle plan, a written battle plan of exactly how we're going to attack in the last quarter of this year and then also in 2025. So the richest man in the graveyard, you know, with no friends, nobody's at your funeral. You know, there's nothing. You know how I just helped the Elliot group get these people pulling up just to do a tour to learn more about our process and facility. These are complete strangers that have never engaged with us before. It's through paid ads. Okay? If you want to learn how to run paid ads, I've got a free school community.
And so you're going to start changing today. And then there are people who identify and go, oh, he's one of us. Let's bring him in. And I need you to tell you, number one, when you're serious about changing, you gotta get urgent. The faster you can change, the quicker your life switches. Whoever can change the fastest wins. Speed always wins.
Okay?
I wrote some on my hand earlier and I'll read it to you. I put delay and you will fail. Okay, Stop waiting. Look, I'm gonna tell you this. Every second, every minute, every hour, every one of them matters.
Play. Here's a new play. This play, it works for all those guys that we spoke about. It's working for a lot of people. But some of you are so hard headed. Like.
Bro, all I know is I.
Need the boys at the Cribo. Look what we got for outside entertainment there, Mr. Bruna. Okay, okay. You want to grill something? Go ahead. You want to light a little fire? I have a little fire in this fucking standing external chimney. What about the pool? Or maybe you just want to relax a little bit. We got it all here at La Nate. Casa bnb. Mi casa, su casa. All right, I'll see you there, bro. How much money did you make?
You know, can you imagine that every time I've gotten in better shape, I make more fucking money. And some of you are sick of me fucking with you by your health. It goes together. Because the more I like me, the more I love me. The better I am to her, the better she is to our children, the better she is back to me. The happier my wife is, the better she is to my team. The better I am to my team, the better my home life is. Dude, I. I like winning because I take care of myself. Somebody, if they would have taught me when I was younger, just stay in shape your whole life, stay in shape and you'll be rich. Some of you, I look at you and you got good businesses, but at the end of the day, I know that you don't like you. This morning, right? Remember me and mom were fighting in the car on the way to the gym.
They were fighting about who hates being late more.
I hate being late. And she's like, you hate being late? I hate being late. I'm like, no, I hate being late way more than you.
But I'm late.
It really pisses me off. And she's like, no, Andy, I hate, like, way more than you. And Ann's like, are you guys really laughing or fighting about who hates being late the most?
He just starts cracking up. Of course we have to laugh, but.
That'S how crazy competitive we are. Does that make sense? Like, you guys know, hey, can your marriages be fun? I hate if you die. Your wife will continue to get your money on your reoccurring revenue as a beneficiary forever. So let me explain. So Brittany, now Jonathan can come into work every day. Work is fucking balls off. Win, do great, kill it, lead by example, be a great winner. And then let's say he has his 300 grand. He's making 60,000amonth. If he was to die, basically, me and Jackie will hire somebody not give away his accounts. Not keep them ourselves.
Not like, oh, we get to keep that money. No, no.
We're immediately going to hire someone to manage those accounts. We will hire someone to manage them, and we will keep paying Brittany out on these accounts for the rest of her life as long as the business is open.
It's only 12:30 and my phone's at 7%. We out here grinding call after call. We're making it happen. I'm out here in Fountain Hills for the week, setting up, posting up, about to go down to Andy's office working directly with his team, and we're making some big moves happen. So if you are out there, this is the time people take their foot off the gas right before for the holidays. Let's talk after the holidays. I'm gonna see what happens with the election. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Excuses to keep you stuck. Okay? So get extra disciplined, get extra focused, and let's go and crush it and send ourselves into 2025 with a bang. No more New Year's resolution. Resolution crap. The. The time to put the gas pedal down is right now. Let's go. I believe in you. I'll see you. Our whole lives, we just wanted to.
Be around good people.
And having all of you guys close to us and in this neighborhood, it's so amazing.
Sam.
Everybody, let's sing Happy birthday to Melanie. Happy birthday to you Happy birthday to you Happy birthday dear Melanie Happy birthday to you.
Who was here last year at the Brotherhood, Raise your hand. A couple of you guys. Some of you weren't. I want you to know something. You know, me and Jackie in 2019, when we. When we started off on our journey to recreate our life, to rebuild our life. Jackie, we sold in Oklahoma, you know, Midwest. A million dollar house is a big deal. You know What I mean? $200,000. And we made a difference. And I didn't think we could. I honestly sat there for some at some times, and I was like, nobody believes in us, babe. Nobody has our back. Nobody's cheering for us. We don't have any friends that want to go with this on this journey. And I thought, I need a brotherhood. I need one. I don't know. There's this collection of people, this whole world, 9 billion people. There's this collection of people that want the same thing that we want. I know it's not 1%. It's.000,00001%. Say, by the way, I don't just want it for the men. I want it for the women. I want it for our children. I mean it. Guys, listen, generational wealth doesn't mean generational habits is the key. We will show our kids what it's like to be the example. Now listen, you're going to have every excuse to quit along the way. Excuses. We will go further than anyone ever thought we will go, but we got to do it together. And so in the brotherhood, you either lean in or you get isolated out. And nobody or in the brotherhood is going to be attracted to you if you can't keep your word. Now can you up? Yes. Can you make mistakes? Yes. Can. Can you screw up? Yeah. We. We know you're all screw ups here. Me and Jackie are the biggest screw ups of everyone in this group. Foreign.
Will save your life. Ads will change your life. Ads will take you to new places. Ads will help you grow your business, help you get more freedom, Help you get your time back and explode your world. Guys, when I first started running paid ads, I never thought that it would bring me here. This Friday, I'm going to be speaking on this stage at the Elliott Group for the school meetup that we're doing with Ian and Evan. And I'm super humbled and excited. I remember the first time I ever connected with Ian and Evan. I came to this very place, sat back there and I said, hey, man, get me on stage. I'd love to be on stage.
And.
And he said, hey, bro, you know, like after you work with us more, you know, maybe, you know, but usually the people that are on stage are sponsors that are paying a lot of money. So, you know, like someday maybe, someday, maybe here, baby. Less than six months later. Provide the most value and you get in with those opportunities. Paid ads. Get good at paid ads. Get a skill, develop that, keep working on that. And you never know where it might lead you to, but let's go, let's go.
Let'S go, let's go.
All right, guys, let's do a big video. Let's go, guys. How you guys feeling today? Hey, how awesome is it to be here, guys, how has everything been? How was lunch? How have the Elliots taken care of you guys? They take good care of you guys. Thank you for the Elliot, for having us, guys. Jackie and Andy, so welcoming to me. It's crazy. Just seven months ago, I started with these guys. I texted Ian because I got pumped up off a video. I'm like, hey, Ian, let's run through walls together. He's like, hey, why don't you come down here for an event first and see what we do. So I came down here and I told him at that first event, I was like, man, get me on stage. I got so much I gotta say. He's like, hey, let's keep working together, let's see what you can do. And seven months later, here we are. So thank you guys. So we're gonna right into it today guys. I'll start off with a little bit about my story. I started out 19 year old kid, between a rock and a hard place. I was just coming off of hitting rock bottom. Anybody in here ever hit rock bottom? And came back. Let's go. Come back kids. Let's go. So, and, and it's funny too, like, like Mike Tyson. I love Mike Tyson. He says rock bottom's like part of the story. This travels beautifully, you know, Mike Tyson. And it's like rock bottom is part of every good comeback story, right? So I was coming off that I had hanging around the wrong people, the wrong information, and I was completely lost. And I left all of that lucky to be alive. And I was finding myself in a new town. I moved away from all those bad influences. I had nothing to my name. I had no development, no skills. I just had a heart and I just wanted to be. I just wanted to do something in my life. So like a lot of us, we stumbled upon self development. Ok? I didn't have ETA plus like we have now we have these guys pouring into us. We have a whole app that you can just get onto and train and learn. I didn't have that. I spent 15, 16 hours a day on YouTube on just going through and studying audio books on podcasts. And I was just going in. Okay, okay. So I like to say, first you gotta grow up. Second, you gotta glow up if you ever want to go up. Okay? So that's the thing, guys. And then the last part of that is you gotta show up, right? So first thing I did was grow up. I moved away from everything. Second thing I started to do was glow up. I was in the gym, I found Brazilian Jiu jitsu. I won an amateur MMA fight. I was just doing anything that I could to try to pursue better in myself, to try to prove myself. All I ever wanted in my life was just to feel worthy, was just to feel like I could impact people, Just to feel like I could do something bigger. I didn't want to make a lot of money. I said 10k a month, man, if I could ever make 10k a month, man, maybe I'll get my mom in the house, you know, I didn't even know we would go to the. To the. To the restaurant, you know, and you decide how hungry you were based on the price of things. The chicken tenders are looking good today, you know, and really, you want to have the appetizer, you want to have the desserts, right? So with all that going on, I'm studying, I'm learning. Opportunities are coming. I had three big epiphanies. Brandon, who was on here earlier, he calls them paradigm shifts. Okay, My first paradigm shift I had in all of this. Jim Rohn says that your level of income rarely exceeds your level of personal development. And I knew right there it was simple. I keep learning, I'm going to start earning. I didn't have a dollar to my name, but I knew eventually it would break through. Second epiphany. This one was huge for me. It's not about what you can get, but it's about what you can give. This made so much sense to me because I was like, I want to get this money. I want to get this life. I want to get all these things. What am I going to give to get there? And that's when my whole world shifted. And I don't know, you guys ever felt like you're going around and you're like, dude, what am I doing? I don't know if this is what I'm supposed to be doing. I don't know if I'm, like, doing the right thing. I felt like this when I was 19, 20 years old, having, like, a. Whatever extension of crisis. And I realized that, really, it's all about just learning who you are and just putting in the work. So fast forward a little bit. I. I was ready to get into business. Like, I learned, and I'm like, who can I help? Who can I serve? What can I do? How can I be the best at the thing in front of me? I'm working at a car dealership in a gravel lot in the middle of nowhere, South Dakota. We were, like, tucked back in, like, semi truck, like, you know, industrial area. There was zero showroom traffic. Nobody was coming into there. And I was just cleaning cars, just learning. And I was doing jiu jitsu up the street. And I approached these guys because I just came across a course from Tai Lopez. I don't know if any of you guys know Tai Lopez. So I went through his course. It was, like, $27. My first investment I ever made myself was $27. I thought about it for, like, so long. Like, some of you guys are, like, thinking about joining ETA 299. That's how I was on that $27. I was like, man, I might not be able to to get coffee later. Like, I was making some serious decisions. Really? It's $27 that changed my life, helped me make millions, right? So I got the course. I watched it three times front to back. It was a serious investment. You know, when you're paycheck to paycheck, every dollar counts, right? So I'm learning, I'm learning, I'm learning. I finally approached the dealership owner and I'm like, hey, man, I think I know how to run ads. And he's like, oh, okay, well, here's the access to the page. How much you want to spend? I was like, just borrow me $100, man. I'll make up for it. I promise. I'll work extra. I'll do whatever. $100. Here's my card. Like, okay. He never thought he was gonna see that money back. I started doing lead generation ads. It was 2019. I generated 12 leads, called them on myself, texted him everything. I sold my first three cars and made my first commission check, $3,800. Which means, like, I just took money off the Internet. And I was like, maybe this is an isolated success. But meanwhile, the Jiu Jitsu academy. New students started coming in. Kids started training Jiu Jitsu. Their program started growing, and soon enough, my coach was able to get new mats, new lights, get a waiting list. And now they're in a new facility that's triple the size of their one that we spent started. And this is all from advertising, guys.
Amen.
So what I'm here to tell you guys today is that ads change lives. Ads have helped me change my life, have given me my dream life, my dream girlfriend, an amazing life. Amazing. Able to travel, able to be here. And I'm super, super thankful.
This is our favorite picture of them. I got a million pictures. Foreign.
They're doing a workout, but we are getting ready to head back to the airport down here in Scottsdale, Arizona. I've been out here for one entire week. Week, guys. An entire week from last Friday to this Friday. I've been down here hanging out with Andy Elliott and his team. I just actually spoke on stage at their event. And guys, I was the only speaker that wasn't part of the Elliott Group. I feel super honored for that. The only other people that they have like that are people like, I don't know, Dean Graciosi, you know, like Patrick, Bet David, you know, like high level people. But then you Got Nate Tilly out there too. So, I don't know, I guess we're doing big things. But, guys, if you haven't already, I'm gonna post the entire speech on the YouTube channel so you can check us out there. I just gotta give all the, the hats off to Andy and his team. Like, to. A lot of people are like, oh, yeah, they make money, and it's easy to make money or whatever. It's like, it's one thing to make money. It's a different thing. When you make a culture that's so strong that you have solid people all around you. You can't fake. You can maybe fake one solid guy. You can't fake having 15 solid people around you. You know, these people in here, they care. They're all learning, they're all growing. And, you know, I really feel like I found my people when I'm around here because, you know, I, I always feel, like, really uncommon around the people that I'm around. And I've found it's dimmed my light. I've allowed it to dim my light because I, I, I, I felt like I didn't fit in. And now I know that it's okay to stand out. And eventually you're gonna find a room filled with motherfuckers that are the same as you and just as crazy as you are, maybe crazier, and push you to another level. And that's exactly what I found here. So all the things I felt inside since I was a young kid, all these, this excitement, and then it was shot down by the haters, by the doubters, by the, by the experiences, all that led me to right here, baby. So, amore, you came down, you saw my first speech. What did you think of, of today?
So your speech was perfect. I think one of the best ones of today's event. And yeah, very, very impactful for me. And I love everybody's stories, how they are so open to share, so welcoming to everybody. It was great, great event, great weekend, and I feel super happy to be here, able just to share so much with everybody, meet new people. It was excellent.
Did you like this one better than the Master Closer seminar?
I think this, this is just different. This is new people, people that are starting right now with the school community. So this is like a fresh air.
I love that. Yeah. I mean, this is one of the first events, by the way, guys, we did this event. Ian and Evan put it on, and Jonah and Enrique organized the whole thing. They decided super last minute to just do it. And we had a Phenomenal event. We had 150 people. We, we did lunch. Andy came, Jackie spoke. It was incredible guys. A really, really, really thankful that I've been able to have a take apart in the back end of this school community and building it. To see all these people in here to getting their lives changed. I mean I had people jumping out of their seats and running over old people to come talk to me after my speech because it was so impactful to him. And that's all I prayed to do was to be able to just inspire and impact. And we were able to do that. So Miyamura, I wouldn't be out here without you.
We made it and we're ready to go back home.
Absolutely. We're gonna do it. All right guys.
Nate Tilly?
Huh?
Are you Nate Tilly?
Yeah. What's up? Hey Nate.
Where are you coming from? I heard you went to Andy Elliott event.
Oh yeah, I was out in Scottsdale. I just spoke on my first stage.
Did you spoke?
Yeah, it was a low key event. Just Andy Elliott stage.
How was it? What did you talk about?
Nothing much. Just like how advertising can completely change your life. Revolutionalize all your dreams and help you to become the person you've always wanted to be and build the business that you've always dreamed of.
How can ads can change my life?
Oh well, I mean, you know actually I gotta get running. I gotta get over. I gotta go trip. But you know what? If you want to join my school community, it's just in the link on my bio.
