Your Life Is NOT a Rehearsal

Sabri Suby says your life isn't a dress rehearsal, so commit fully. He pushes high-volume action like burning down the phones paired with learning effective pitch technique, arguing the mental game matters as much as the hustle in sales.

You have to go all in. This is not a dress rehearsal, guys. Like, this is your. This is your game. This is your life that you're going through. And it's like if you can literally make the decision and the decision when you make it has such a radical contrast to what the month before. It's all in the mind in terms of what you do. Right. And it's just about. You want to build yourself up so you the are the hottest fire in the room. That's basically the game. It's not like, you know, Andy's not saying, like, he's figured out this new closing strategy or he knows this number one thing to whisper into a prospect's ear that makes them buy with no resistance. It's the mental game. You guys have all the tools. You've got all the leads, you've got all the opportunities that you need just to go out there and get it done. Like, Tony's come back, he's been back, and he's. The one thing that is constant is this is freaking. Absolutely burning down those telephones. Right. Just fucking lighting them on fire. And like, you can say, okay, like it was luck. Like, he's two weeks into the month, opportunity comes from action. And there's one thing certain, he is violently attacking those telephones. Yeah. So you just. That's just the thing that you just need to do. Yeah, just keep. Keep at it. Keep dialing and just smashing up the phones. Right? And it's. The thing is, if you're making 500 dials or you're burning down the phones with productivity, and it's like you're making all that action, but you're not hitting balls out of the park. Then you need to look at how you're swinging the bat, right? It's not like just action is going to solve all the problems. You need to look at the strategy. You need to look at what's going on. You need to listen to Andy's pitches. Do you know when Andy's on a pitch, I'll even walk up and go and sit behind him and hear what he's saying. It's really interesting. For me, it's a different Andy. It's a different person that is on that telephone. He speaks with more conviction. He's got more confidence that he rolls. So, like, the reality of it is, like, I always want to know what the difference is between that person able to achieve that to the person that's not.
