Claude is built for developers and has MCP servers that let AI control other software, which the speaker calls mind-blowing. ChatGPT hired Meta's former apps head and seems headed toward broader appeal. Claude is currently ahead on functional business tools.

Who's ChatGPT for and who's Claude for? Claude is built as kind of a developer tool and it's becoming more and more user-friendly, but they're also leading the way on integrations, MCP servers, which are a lot like APIs but built specifically for AI to access and have levers and buttons they can push inside other software, which is like mind-blowing. And ChatGPT, you know, they recently hired the head of apps from Meta. I feel like there's like this divergence happening. I don't think that ChatGPT is going to go away, but I do think that Claude, in my opinion, is winning the race as far as more functional business tools.
