One speaker argues creator businesses should build a single high-impact product, not multiple smaller ones. He compares a focused approach to a skyscraper and warns that a scattered "strip mall" of products rarely scales past $1 million.
If you really want to scale a creator business, you have to build a skyscraper, not a strip mall.
Oh God.
And so, so many people say, okay, I make $500 grand off of this product or $300 grand. If I want to make more, I need to add the second product and then third product. And they go from here. And it's the same thing as having like, you know, you got your Radio Shack and your Subway and all these things. You built out this whole strip mall. And that's a very complicated way to build a business over $1 million. And it almost never builds a business over $5 million.
Yeah, well, well, Hormozy says, he's like, you, until you break a million, you should have one avatar, one product, one channel. Like, any channel, any avatar, any product, if you can't hit a million with that, you have a problem.
