Nathan Barry grows his email list by posting carousel recipes on Instagram, asking people to comment for the full recipe. Commenters get a link to an Instagram-styled pop-up where they enter their email to receive it. He runs this funnel two to three times a week.
You have a large email list. Walk me through like one of those funnels that you would create. How do you drive people and very specifically get them on the email list?
So recently we just created a carousel that was like 5 really good chicken dinners. People are obsessed with chicken. Dinner is a problem and they're easy recipes. We knew if we got them to comment for the recipe, they get sent a kit link, which is basically just like a pop-up that looks like on Instagram. They sign up and then they get it delivered to their inbox, but they're also now in our email list.
Right.
So it's creating that content for Instagram versus putting that on the website as like a, a pop-up, though it would probably do well here as well. But it's like we're able to do those funnels now 2 to 3 times a week on Instagram specifically.
