Why Your Passion Needs to Pay

And a lot of people, whether they're running a nonprofit or they're saying, oh, it's just a passion project, and so it doesn't need to make money. And it's really hard to do things again tomorrow and the next day if it doesn't make money and you're worried about those things. And so that's why you've always had this great angle of like, okay, but this is still how I make money, so we're gonna make money. And so I think of how much you love the project and Boise and all of this, because you love it, it's so important to make money from it so that you have the permission to do it again and again. And that's how it has staying power.
