How Sam Ovens Made $36,000,000 Recording For 2 Hours

Sam Ovens generated $36 million using a five-step webinar funnel. The strategy covers driving traffic, capturing emails, using countdown timers, keeping viewers engaged, delivering value, and pitching. The speaker breaks down each stage and explains retargeting tactics for converting prospects into customers.
So in this video, I'm going to be going over how Sam Ovens made $36 million with one pretty simple five step webinar funnel. Okay? So without further ado, I'm trying to keep this as short as possible. So let's just get into it, right? So I'm obviously Sam ovens, founder of consulting.com. he sold it a couple years ago. Now, obviously he had two different programs, one of them being, you know, the accelerator. So consulting accelerator, which, you know, took people from kind of like a regular Joe that didn't really know anything about consulting to a consultant, okay? And then from there, you know, once those people started making money, he would upsell them to uplevel. And then from up level, you know, once they start even making even more money off of up level, after implementing everything, he would upsell them to his quantum mastermind, okay? Which is obviously his mastermind, where, you know, he would fly them out once a year and they would make the trip to, you know, whether it be New York, Louisiana. And they would obviously, you know, go ahead and kind of have like a little in person kind of seminar type of thing where they would just take notes and stuff from Sam, okay? But, you know, this is obviously going to be going over how he would sell the accelerator itself, okay. And how he made $36 million doing so with this one funnel. So without further ado, let's get into it. Obviously, there's five steps. Number one is driving traffic. Number two is opting in and owning the attention. Number three is the countdown. Number four is the headline and retaining the viewer. Number five is the value. And then lastly is the pitch. And then from here, obviously is, you know, retargeting and stuff like that, okay? So driving traffic, well, it's very simple, okay? So Sam Ovens was very, very good at driving traffic, okay? So his, you know, his copy was absolute banger copy. You know, one probably one of the best copywriters in the world, right? So, you know, he would obviously use that to his advantage within his Facebook ads, okay? And then he also had his, you know, organic methods of attraction. So his YouTube channel, right, which he grew to 150k subscribers with 104 videos. Okay? See, his most popular videos being, you know, Monk, like, discipline, what it takes to really win, and then just a bunch of business stuff, right? And then obviously, you know, he would retarget all these people on YouTube as well. So everybody that consumes YouTube content, he would retarget them and send them to the next page as well, which is the opt in page. Okay, so this opt in page, let's just go over it real quick. Very, very simple, right? The headline is how I get 30 to 50 high ticket coaching consulting clients every month with predictability down to the dollar and day. And obviously we could tell it's a webinar funnel. It says, yes, reserve my seat now. So when they would obviously press to reserve that seat, they would have to join, you know, they have, have to put their full name, their phone number, and they would obviously have to opt into his newsletter, which they would to receive access. And this is where they would receive access or they, they would actually receive access on the next page. Okay, so from here is obviously, you know, they're already owned. So, you know, now they receive obviously the, the link to the web, the webinar. And by the way, you know, Sam, it's not like he did a webinar for 36 million different people, okay? He recorded it once, which is the point that I'm trying to stress the content. He recorded it once, it was 2 hours and 25 minutes. Okay, records this thing once, gives it to his team, runs the funnel around it, spends a little bit of money and he makes $36 million back off of a 120 minute webinar. Absolute insanity. Okay, so then from here obviously, you know, this is the register page. So this obviously gives them the link and stuff. Then from here obviously is the countdown. So this is the countdown page. This is kind of obviously, you know, give the viewer or the person that's watching the prospect kind of like a little, kind of a little preview. So obviously there's like a little VSL video and stuff like that while it's about to start. It kind of goes through expectations, kind of goes through expectations and whatnot. And then, yeah, when it counts down, obviously the headline retaining the viewer. So how you do this within a webinar, which I've gone over multiple times, is obviously you need a really good headline. And then obviously you need to just, you know, you need to retain your viewer with your credibility. Okay? So for Sam, he was just going through a bunch of case studies. He went through Nick Cosman, then he went through a bunch of other case studies that were really good, were students of his and stuff like that. And he flexes apartment and all this different type of stuff. And that's how you retain people. Then from here is the value, which is where you continue on retaining people while providing them value. The three main points that he went over, which obviously need three main points within your webinar Number one is he says you need to rewire your brain and become a new person, which is very true. Number two is you need a niche and an offer that provides value to people, which is also very true. And then number three, you need a process, a proven and repeatable process to attract and convert clients, which is also very true. Okay, so he's providing actual value, right? So then from here, he goes through, you know, all this in depth, and then from here is where he pitches his solution, which is the accelerator, right? And obviously he uses scarcity over here, this obvious scarcity tactic where, you know, it says, oh, limited time offer, save $4,000 and get lifetime access. This will sell out extremely fast. And obviously, you know, the Reddit kind of, you know, induces, you know, that kind of scarcity kind of mindset, Right? And as well as, you know, kind of, you know, just cutting the price in general. Right. Just trying to make it seem more than it's actually worth. Right? So that the person would actually opt in. Now, what would happen is, after this, you know, if they would. If they were to press, you know, get access today, they would get taken to a. They'd obviously get taken to a checkout page. However, before this checkout page, there's obviously, you know, like, case studies and stuff like that. And if they were to click out after either the case studies or on the checkout page itself, then they would get, guess what? They would get retargeted with Facebook ads. Okay. And then from there, obviously, these Facebook ads are kind of made to get them to obviously, you know, buy it. Right? So from there, if they bought it, then, boom, the retargeting ad worked. Right. So essentially, basically how that webinar funnel kind of works, Right. Would I say it's pretty simple? Yes, it is pretty simple. Do I think you can replicate it? Yes, I feel like, obviously, if you're as good or if you're pretty good at writing copy and you have a proven product that, you know, you've tested organically and that works organically, then yes, you can definitely try this tactic out once you've built some authority within your space. Okay. Obviously, you do not want to start running ads to a webinar if you do not already have an audience. Okay. Hence why you need to build a personal brand. Right? So thank you guys for watching. That was kind of, you know, how Sam Ovens made $36 million with one funnel? Obviously. Let's go over it again. He drove traffic organically with his YouTube and paid with his Facebook ads. And his YouTube ads as well. He would drive them to a landing page where he would grab somebody's email. And in exchange, obviously, they get the link to this little webinar that kind of teaches them how to start a profitable consulting business and get their first high ticket client in 42 days. From here, he gives them the three main points, which are actually valuable points from somebody who's, you know, who does this. Right. And then the pitch and the solution. And obviously, if they, you know, they don't check out here, then they'll just get retargeted and then they'll end up buying eventually. Okay. So thank you guys for watching Pretty short video, but I just wanted to go over that real quick because Sam Ovens is somebody that I really look up to. And. Yeah, thank you guys for watching. And yeah, peace.
