The reader does not care if you spent 10 minutes writing it, an hour writing it, 10 hours writing it, or 100 hours writing it. The reader does not care. Your effort is irrelevant. Your passion for it is irrelevant. The only thing the reader cares about is: "What's in it for me? Did I learn something? Did you answer my question? Did you entertain me? Did you in some way make my life better? What did you give me?"
