Hola, I have some Italian friends as well, Tiao, Simona. So yeah, super happy to have you today. Okay. So let me know if you learned something these 3 days, right? What is the best way to boost our vitality? The best way to boost our energy? What is it? Let me know. Let me know in the chat. Move, dancing. Yes, of course, summer breath. Dancing, okay, believe it or not, believe it or not, is one of the most incredible fast techniques for you to boost nitric oxide. The thing, this beautiful molecule we have in the nose, right? So we will explain that a little bit as well. I think that you also have a lot of information with Niraj Naik too. Today is about having fun, vitality, pleasure, joy. We can make that happen with our breath. Even if you're down, you will see now how you are going to change your mood. So first of all, please, everyone, I invite you to stand up because we're going to start, of course, dancing. This is not a shaking. This is a dancing. What I mean with this is intuitive movement, whatever you feel like to move, okay, to integrate the body today in this session because it's important to feel vitality. Try to not breathe through your mouth, only breathing in and out through your nose. So if that gets hard, cool down your movements, calm down a little bit, and then again, start breathing through your nose. Okay, but we're going to share one of the most incredible tracks that I love from Soma Breath as well. Remember that everything you hear in these challenges are Soma Breath music, is the original from Soma. And we have an incredible Colombian instructor that is also a musician, a saxophonist, and he made the most incredible tracks, geeks, like they say. I have an incredible geek for you guys. So stand up and let's hear this incredible music with Niraj and Orlando, and let's move together. Remember, just put awareness into your breath through your nose. Let's do it. Oops, not that one. This one. Okay, okay guys, stand up, stand up. First I'm going to clean myself so you will see me. Okay, just breathing in through the nose. Okay, small movements in the beginning, just feeling the music. Yes. Okay, yeah, breathing in and out through the nose. Okay, here we go. Take a big inhale, hold, exhale. Again, take a big inhale, hold, and exhale. One more time. Big inhale, hold, and exhale. Okay, let's do it. Let's put it nice. Yes, people, let's rise our love. Just dance, move, feel the music. Yeah! Rising up our vibration, breathing in and out through the nose. Yeah, bend your knees, feel grounded, move your hips. Yeah, move the hips. We're going to build vitality from the roots up. Move it. Yes, keep going, Karen, Barry. Yes, Danielle, Maria, keep moving, Janine, Mary. Mile. Yeah, let's do it! 3, 2, 1. That's from your nose. Yeah, yeah, they're making comments. Clarita. Moving the roots, hips. Yeah, move your hips. We have a lot of tension here, so just shake it out. Shake it, shake it, shake it. Breathing in and out through your nose. Incredible, incredible, guys. Okay, let me just see everyone here. How do you feel now? Let me know in the chat. Do you feel already the heat, the vibe, the vitality within? Energized. Uh-huh. Yes. Yeah. Hot, hot, hot. I love that, Denise. So cool to see us dancing together. I love dancing. Fire. Yes. So you see, 7 minutes of dancing using your nose, you will feel these energies like the heat, the sweat. We already can begin our day with a different completely emotion, right? It's fantastic. Yes, it's an awakening. It's an integration with your body as well. It's so good to move. The body is movement, right? Everything is a movement. Everything is a rhythm, something that you've been learning with Niraj as well, right? So let's be interactive. I will love— let me just put myself here. To anyone who wants or have a question, sharing, please just click on the hand icon so we can start with a conversation before we go more deep into today's session. For me, some about my story. When I was 48, I had an hysterectomy, so they removed my uterus and my ovaries, okay? And I got to menopause right away in a few hours. So, um, but the weird thing with this transition, because it's not an illness, it's a transition, okay? Is that what it was, my lack of energy. Actually, it was scary because I am being always this intense, happy, joyful person. But for a few months, I was feeling really drained, like lack of energy completely, no purpose, no passion. And actually, I was thinking maybe I'm depressed, you know, and I was thinking on taking some depression pills. But fortunately enough, I've been an energy healer for a long time, and something in my intuition was telling me that there's something else happening inside. So I was trying to find out something to help me to really get back my energy, because without energy, we can't do anything. And I found this beautiful methodology, Summer Breath. I just breathe, I breathe one daily dose. One daily dose, and I couldn't believe how amazing I was feeling after that experience. My energy came back completely and I was feeling happy again with intention, with purpose, with energy, and waking up every day with joy, you know. And for me now, helping women navigating menopause naturally is also an expansion. My heart expands. When I can teach women to embrace again the power within, only using your breath. So I would love to know if you have any one of you, please just be free to click in your hand icon. If you again have a questions about the last past days or questions about the technique or any sharing, I will be happy to have you and have a conversation.
Okay.
Let me just drink a little, a little water here. It's not an obligation. What did she drink? Me? Water. That, that is what you're asking, Abe? I was drinking just water. I missed yesterday's session. Will you share the videos? Well, everything, Alfonso, is in the replays. You can go to the replay from day 1. This was Monday where you had Lisa and Niraj, and then just continue with the replays that Niraj was before. Yesterday you had Nigel Naik, another incredible Master Transformation Coach. No, I'm not 48. I'm 55. Not 48, 55. I'm a 55 super happy woman. Yeah. Okay, so no questions. Everything is good. Everything is having all the ideas about this, this challenge. Yes. Okay. So, well, if you have any question, please just click your hand icon and we can talk about anything that you need to talk. So, dancing, first most incredible way to boost your vitality, okay, your energy. Using your nose, because what we're doing also is activating your nitric oxide that has a lot of benefits, okay. It will improve your blood circulation. It will improve also your oxygen delivery. So, it's much more efficient to take your oxygen molecules to your tissues, to your brain. Something that is very important as well when we get older is to really understand that we need to be much more efficient with our oxygen to the brain because the brain needs oxygen to produce energy. And talking also about getting older, right, a lot of also women feel that they are so tired, but it's like a, it's like a mental fatigue, right? It's not just the body, it's a mental fatigue. And that is because we have less oxygen in the brain as well. So, Feng Hui, do you have a question? Hello?
Hi, can you hear me?
Yes, of course. Welcome.
Okay.
Hi.
Yes, my question is that hold on the inhale and hold on the exhale. What's the difference, please?
That's a very good question. Thank you for that question. So when we hold our breath out, we are activating our parasympathetic nervous system. When we're holding our breath in, it's a stress, a positive stress. We are activating the sympathetic nervous system, right? So it brings different sensations. So for example, if I'm working with energy, if I'm working with vitality, if I have a group of people who are lack of energy and purpose and desire, I will probably make a longer breath hold in instead of breath hold out. If I have people who are maybe more anxious, willing to feel more relaxed, I will try to push more the breath hold out. Usually people feel much better and relaxed, and they feel like they can hold much longer the breath hold out than the breath hold in. That is actually something really natural too. But that is the meaning of holding up. And that is why, because you're holding up and squeezing your mula bandha, you— we are actually what we're doing is we're just pushing that energy through our spinal fluids to the brain, right? And then what we do usually, we hum. We are going to do that today. We hum. And why we hum? Because we produce this vibration in the head and we produce more nitric oxide. So all the energy that we're flowing now up to the brain, it will be much more expansive. Using those techniques. So that is the main difference on the breath hold out and the breath hold in. Yes?
So breath hold out create more stress because our body has less oxygen at that time, right? Compared to inhale hold.
So remember also that when you hold your breath out, Something I think Nigel also told you yesterday. Don't go, like, go beyond your comfort zone, but in a very care way. You don't need to, again, this is not a competition. You'll get more stress when you hold your breath out because you try to hold and hold and hold and hold and hold instead of just come back to you. Take a sip of air when you have that beyond your comfort zone. Don't push yourself so much because then it becomes a stress. Okay? You shouldn't feel that like that. You shouldn't feel that you are fighting, you know, or you are like, you know, you are the resistance of— it should feel like you are just taking that sip of air. Anytime that you feel that this is too much for me, I will just take that sip of air and I hold back again. So, you shouldn't feel that stress when you hold your breath out or even when you hold your breath in. It's not about feeling the stress. It's about how are we working with our systems in the body. So if you're feeling too much stress when you're holding out, my recommendation is take that sip of air before, before you feel that stress.
No, not even push. Yeah, sorry. Not even push too much. I mean, just by definition, when you hold on, exhale, I mean exhale, you have less oxygen in the body, right? And when you hold on the inhale, because you just inhale the air into your body, naturally you have more oxygen on that state.
I love this question. You know, we usually have the same kind of oxygen kind of every single time. We usually have like 98 to 97% saturation of oxygen in our body. So what we're doing actually is not playing around with oxygen. We are playing around with CO2. So, we're trying to rise up the CO2 levels in our blood, not the oxygen. The oxygen is always— you're always going to be safe. What happens is that if you use the oximeter, for example, and you will go to the intermediate hypoxia, right? That is, of course, you are kind of lowering down your oxygen levels in the blood because your CO2 is rising up. But as soon as you take one inhale, as soon as you take an inhale,, you will see that your oxygen is going up again to 98, like super fast. So that is what we call it intermittent hypoxia. And that is what we call it that is very safe because it's in a very short period of time where we get all the benefits. But again, usually we are in 98, 97% of oxygen every single time in our blood. If you have less, it's because you have an illness, inflammation, or something is wrong with you, your lungs. So we usually have that 98%, and then when we hold, when we hold out or when we hold in, we are increasing the CO2 levels. Oxygen goes down because the CO2 levels are rising. And then as soon as you breathe in super fast in seconds, your breath, your oxygen will be again in 98%. That is what we have.
Oh, good.
Thank you. Yeah, you're welcome, darling. Oh, I forgot. Can you unmute? I unmute you for an error.
There you go.
Okay.
Yeah, very good. Very good. It cleared my thought now. Yeah, I keep focus on the oxygen.
Actually, it's CO2.
Exactly. Carbon dioxide is more important.
And it's very normal because even when I was studying to become an instructor, I myself, we have to unlearn. Because in school, we learned that CO2 is toxic, it's dangerous, right? And now we have to unlearn here in SOMA that we need to have much more tolerance to build that CO2 levels up so we get all the benefits. So yeah, it's completely fine, your question. I thank you for making that question because I think a lot of people will get more clarity for this. So thank you, Feng Hui.
You're welcome. You're very welcome. You are really full of energy.
Yes.
You are energy.
Yes, thank you, darling. Okay, so I have more people here. Uh, Sandra. Hello, Sandra. Hello, Sandra.
Hello.
Well, I wanted to ask you about, uh, can soma bread help with osteoporosis, with women in menopause? Is there something that can help with it? That is so good. Listen, we have so less, so less research about women's health when we get older. I will say that in a responsible way, we don't have research about it. But I will say that using breathwork to be more efficient with oxygen in the muscles, right, and helping you to have stronger muscles to support your bones. And at the same time, if we're breathing and being more efficient with all our system, remember that we are working with endocrine system, lymphatic system, nervous system. I will say that also that will bring less inflammation, a better way to get our vitamins and hormones in the body. So I think that anyway, it can help. But I cannot tell you that, yes, we have a research that says that this is actually happening. My own experience with women is that, yes, it helps a lot, especially to feel more stronger and to be more efficient with the nutrition. But it's a— I will say that it's not only the breath, it's also about how you eat, how you move, how you think, how you sleep, right? But yeah, for sure it will help. Thunder. You can hear the loudness. Okay, thank you for your answer. Yeah, you're welcome. Okay, we have Abbe. Abbe, hello. Yes, hi. Hi. Earlier you said that you, you drink something every day that helps you. What is that that you were talking about? I drink? I said that I drink? Really? I think you misunderstood my English. I think the accent was something that— No, I don't drink. What I drink in the morning, I drink, actually, I drink seawater with water. I mix it and I drink that to my health. But no, I didn't say I think that I drink. Maybe I said something that you thought I said. Okay. Remember that English is not my first language. So sorry for that, but maybe— Well, I understand you. I guess I just didn't hear right, but I understand this. Okay. Just bring your breath. You're welcome. Okay. We have Mary, our darling. Hello, Mary. Usually my sessions as well in the app.
Yes.
Hi. So good to see you here today. Thank you for stepping in.
—on this fine occasion. My pleasure.
Yeah, my question is, yesterday I had come up about with Nigel that when we breathe in through the nose and breathe out through the mouth, that it releases the CO2. But what happens if we want to breathe in through the nose and out through the nose? How would that affect, or can we do that as an exchange with our mouth open?
That is a beautiful question. You can do in and out through your nose. For sure, it will be the same benefits if you have that ability to control the exhalation, like when we are exhaling in 4 or when we are exhaling in 8, like very slow exhalation. If you can control that through your nose, that is good. My, what can I say, my approach with with soma breath, soma body, right, is that, you know, as you know because you've been in my sessions, is that we have the sense of the voice, we have the sense of the sound, and the sound is, is one of the very important keys in Tantra, okay? Tantra meaning pleasure, joy, right? So if you want to connect with your pleasure, if you want to connect with joy, if you want to connect with vitality, with again, feeling that spark of joy of being alive, I really recommend everyone to exhale through the mouth with the sound. Your voice is unique. Your voice, Mary is the only voice. Mary has a Mary voice and no one has that voice, right? So if you exhale with the sound of connection, it can help you to get into that trance. But you can, of course, like if we talk about the benefit, the technique, the intermittent hypoxia, or just to activate your parasympathetic nervous system is perfectly done with the nose.
Yeah, because I mean, you're, you're not apparently blowing off as much CO2 through your nose, right? I mean, you know, with your mouth or— well, I'm just curious, is that, you know, better?
So it's not all escaping? I will say that it's not better or worse. I will say that again, everyone here knows your body better. So, if you feel that you're getting the benefits anyway using your nose, there's a lot of yoga instructors that they really prefer to do the in and out through the nose. And I think that if you feel the benefits, if you can actually see that in the oximeter, you are getting into the intermittent hypoxia, you feel more relaxed, that's fine. That's good, right? And but again, the mouth is about controlling the exhalation, and at the same time is a connection with the senses that we use a lot in soma. Great.
Well, thank you so much.
No, you're welcome, darling. Thank you for your question. Okay, I want Maria, Maria Brown, can you please raise up your hand to find you if you are in the chat, because I would love to hear your experience with bone density. And I think that is about the osteoporosis question before. So if you can let me know where you are with a hand, I will bring you into the room. Just if you want, of course, it's not an obligation. Like, Maria, come here. No, it's not an obligation. If you can. If you can't, that's okay. Let me go to the chat. Ah, they drink seawater. Yeah, see, I drink seawater. It's amazing. It's like my nose is on strike since I started Monday, keeps running. That's perfect. It's perfect. You are cleaning your nose. That is completely fine. No, I don't recommend to use the mouth breathing. Even if your nose is running, just try to be gentle, but try to use your nose. Yes, I don't recommend to do any mouth breathing at all. So I mix the seawater that is actually, it's not that I go to the sea or to the ocean and take water, guys. I bought the seawater into a very, in a company. The water is safe, is clean. And then I mix it with, yeah, with the still water. And this is just to be more, having more I hate this word in English because it's so difficult to be more hydrated, like to have better waters in my body. Yeah, it's just for inflammation as well. Yeah. Okay, Maria, I think that you're not. So anyway, oh yeah, here you go. Maria, thank you for coming. Let me just, darling, let me know please everything about your experience with this. Hello, beautiful.
How are you? I'm hiking the desert in Arizona right now, but I didn't want to miss this. So what was your question?
You said in the chat that you are about the bone density increase.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So you and I were actually on a call a couple of years ago right after I got those results back. And the only change that I had over all those years— and now, now it's, it's 5 years later, uh, going on to 6 years— I'm completely out of osteopenia. And the only change was doing Soma Breath every single day. So bone density changed, and even my doctor was like, what are you doing? Because I wasn't on hormones, I wasn't on anything, and I had already been in menopause for 20 years, you know, almost 20 years at that point. I had very early menopause at 41. And, um, yeah, so, uh, there's no studies on it per se, but I have the— exactly. I have all of the lab results that really changed was doing Soma Breath every single day. And I do it every day, minimum of 20 minutes, but most days 45 minutes is before I even get out of bed. So For those of you who are asking about will it change, you'll know for yourself if you're monitoring your body. And yeah, so I'd love to see more studies done that way. But thank you for inviting me on, Claudia.
That is what everyone wants. Maybe you, maybe you can actually, if you have the time, of course, to prepare like a doc and you can send me that and I can share that with other women, that would be amazing and fantastic because I think that It's so less research, guys, about the woman's body that we need to, I think, support each other. So thank you, Maria, for jumping in into that call and have a wonderful day.
I love dancing through the desert with you. It was really fun.
So thank you.
Yesterday I was in the airport with Nigel and I was dancing in the airport. You had to see the people's faces. And I was like, come on, let's dance. You know, like they could hear the music through my phone. So it was super fun. Keep spreading the love, everyone. Thanks, Claudia.
Thank you. Thank you. Have fun. Oh, Maria is one of our instructors as well, and she's incredible and super successful in what she does. She does retreats as well in over the world, and she put together breathwork with arts. So you will go to her retreats and you will be painting your emotions and your expansions. It's beautiful. So thank you, Maria, again for jumping in. Okay guys, let's continue. So we have the dancing. Okay, we have the dancing that really boosts your energy and also it's about the intention. So what are we going to do next is a way to breathe, to get the intention of energy and vitality in your body before we go into the breathwork aspect of this. And people who've been working with me know that I love the body connection, right? The body is everything. The body is what connects with It's the most divine thing that we have in this life. So what we're going to do is we're going to stand up and we'll put a piece of music and we're going to just follow my words, follow my movements, and we're going to just really feel the intention of grabbing energy from the sun, of grabbing energy from the earth. And in this case, in this case, sorry, we're going to be breathing in through the nose And we're going to exit through the mouth. Okay, but the inhalation is bringing the energy to the body and the exhalation is returning any tension, any limitation, anything at all that you feel. Through the nose in, through the mouth out. Okay, let's do it. It's 5 minutes where we are going to experience this together. Okey-dokey. So let me share the music again with you guys. What is it? Because I love to give experiences. I want you to feel. I don't want you to believe me. I want you to feel. I want you to feel what happens when we do this. Okay? Okay. So stand up. Let's put the music. Again, remember that everything that I'm sharing here is Soma Breath music, the most incredible. Okay. Okay, so just bend your knees a little bit so you feel grounded to the earth, right? Little movements, there's no dancing, it's just flowing, feeling the energy and the power of the music. And now we're going to start feeling. Imagine that you breathe in with your hands up. Inhalation of the sun. Ha. Ha. Bring into the body. Ha. Ha. Put intention of calling the energy from the sun, from the prana, to your body. Power, fire, ignition. Yes, bring it to the body, the force. Within? What do you need to your body to activate? One more time. Now just relax, go back to your normal breathing. Move your body to flow, to move the energy. Your shoulders back, relax. So putting the attention into your center, the center of the body, solar plexus. Okay, now we're going to be breathing in and breathing out, feeling your energy, right? Okay, relax a little bit. Just take— relax. Close your eyes and give that intention that you need for your vitality, your purpose, your drive, your fuel, your fire, your spark of life. Bend your knees. Feel that intention already in your body. Remember that the legs are the roots to the earth. When you feel grounded, ready to walk With power, we are unstoppable, right? So we now— we breathe the energy, the prana, back into the center of the body with a clear intention. You have your own intention, so just feel that. Maybe you need more certainty, you need more energy, you need more focus. So let's breathe that. Okay, let's do it. Imagine you have building this wall of fire. 5. Yes. 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5. 2 more. 1, 2. Now push, walk with presence, with power. Walk through your life. Feel your prana, your presence, your energy in all your body. Yes, work unstoppable. Clarity. Yes, close your eyes and feel how you walk through the earth with certainty, safety, vitality. Now Bring the flow, bring the feminine, the flow into your body and breathe. Imagine you will live the life in vitality and power, how that feels in your body, what are you going to doing different. Whoo! 4 times. Press dance. Yes, feeling good, grounded, aligned. Now put your hands again, one hand in your solar plexus and one hand in your heart. Stay still for a few seconds. Put one hand in your heart, one hand in your solar plexus, and feel with your eyes closed that beautiful energy you're building, that drive, that spark of light, that vitality that belongs to you, that spark of light that maybe you already forgot that you have. So knowing that you have this this beautiful energy within? What you will do different? What are your desires? What makes you feel joyful and pleasure? Breathe in and breathe out, having this conversation with your vitality. Energy in your heart. Where do you want to put this beautiful energy now, knowing that you are unstoppable, that you are the creator of your life? Imagine that this beautiful vitality energy is going all over your body. Beautiful. And now, very slow, bring back your energy to the room and open your eyes.
Okay.
Power, force. Okay. Pose. What— how your body is in life is always expanding energy, right? Remember that when you breathe in through the nose to your diaphragm, you already are putting a better pose. You're opening your heart, you're opening your chest. But at the same time, it's the way that you even walk in your life. You know, how do you present yourself in life, right? What is the energy that you're expanding? If you need to, for example, reach something powerful, if you want to have a better salary, if you want to be an entrepreneur, if you want to maybe vibrate someone in your life, you need to change your vibration. You need to change your vitality. That is what is really magnified, like attracting people, attracting good sensations, attracting good experiences, right? And also it's going to give you a lot of wellness. Like we need, I mean, for me, life is, is that your pleasure. Actually, I was listening to Madonna a few weeks ago and someone asked her like, what is the difference between someone that changed and someone who doesn't change? And she says desire, desire in your life. I desire, it's not about sexuality, okay? It's desire of being alive, it's desire to breathe, it's desire to go to nature, it's desire to be with my friends, desire to have a family, desire, right? And sometimes for any reason in our life, we feel drained of that. I don't have any desire, I don't have any purpose, I don't have I don't have energy, right, to move. And without energy, we cannot action anything. You cannot move a car without fuel. I cannot move my body without energy. So for me, energy and the clarity that breathwork and somatic breathwork give you in your life— because it's not about only having energy, it's where I put this energy— having clarity about my dreams, having clarity about my desire for who I really am, is going to make your manifestation super fast, guys. And you will feel such an adrenaline and beautiful energy when you need it. Because at the same time, you've been also feeling the last days that you can calm down, you can feel relaxed, you can feel coherence, right? But you also can ignite the power. You can also ignite your presence because we live in a world where we need to expand our energy sometimes to be here, to be seen, you know. And this for me is the most incredible way to do it— dancing, dancing with this intention of bringing your power back into your body using the power of soma breath, the soma within the body, right? So yeah, you ignite your presence, and it's really, guys, if you want to do it like Even do it like an experiment. Like if you have a meeting, and I did this a lot before, if you have a meeting, a very important meeting, breathe the fire within, breathe your fire within, and you will see how people will tell you, you look different, you look different, something is, did you do something with your hair? No, it's just the energy. It's that presence of certainty that is going to help you to move just where you want to be, right? So this can again help if you are a CEO, if you are an entrepreneur, if you work in a corporation, if you want to change your life, if you want to manifest a partner, if you want to change the place that you live, if you want to become a somatic breath instructor, right? If you, if you don't know what your purpose is, because sometimes we have that calling Breathe in the fire, okay? Breathe in that, that power, power presence that everyone has, okay? That sun energy, the masculine energy, the energy that helps us to move, to activate, to action, take action in your life, right? And, um, and don't get embarrassed or don't feel shame of feeling this as a woman. Sometimes we feel as women that we don't deserve to feel this power. But we do. Okay, we do. And if we do it in a very, in an awareness, it will be amazing for you and your life. How do you feel? I don't understand that question. Is dancing socially with lots of different people important? Oh, well, not every instructor is into the dancing. Mostly, I will say. But you can use, for example, shaking, right? You can be maybe instead of dancing, you just can be seated and imagine that you're taking the energy of the sun, and then you just breathe back that energy. It can be also in stillness. But I will say that the movement, yes, I think that we are completely disconnected with the power of movement. Is that next? That, that was your question? I don't understand, but maybe is that the question? Again, in Summer Breath, as instructors, we will customize our sessions depending on who we are, what resonates more with us, right? And they can customize different ways to move, to shake, to do waves. Bracelets are amazing, right? And yeah, you can customize this as you wish. I love to dance, and with me, you are always going to be moving all the time. Okay, so let's go to the breathwork. Okay, we have a very short experience, of course, with Niraj. It's an 8-minute morning gratitude intention. It's a gratitude intention, and why gratitude is so important. It's a very expensive— expansive, not expensive. It's a very expansive emotion, right? Now we have this energy, we feel the energy, we feel the power, we've been moving our body, we can feel the heat. Now just be grateful for this and see how you feel, right? The expansion of being grateful for what I have is magic, right? We sometimes forget to really bring a couple of minutes in the day to just say thank you for being alive. Thank you for my spark. Thank you for my energy. Right? Thank you for my breath. Just anything at all that you want to be grateful for. We're going to be using the awakening technique. That means that you will have a rhythm. We are using the in 2 and out in 4 the whole week because that will activate your parasympathetic nervous system. And we have the kumbhaka, right? The holding at the end is one, only one breathful phase where you will be then Trying to hold as much as you can, a little beyond your comfort zone. Remember that this shouldn't be a fight. Okay, when you just cannot hold any longer, just the very first urge to breathe, take a seat, exhale, and hold back again until you will hear the instructions to now breathe in fully and hold. And in that holding, remember all you move with these two experiences. Ignite the power up and expand and see and feel that you are already living a beautiful, sparkling life, pleasurable life, joyful life, right? In every single thing that you do. And then at the end, when you exhale, you will exhale with a hum. Okay, that is important to remember that. Where you're seeing this beautiful molecule that is the nitric oxide. Just to remind, to remind you, improves blood circulation, increase oxygen delivery. It will boost your brain function, very important. It will really make you a better immune system. It will help you to have more stamina when you do exercises and also supports sexual health. Okay. It's an anti-aging molecule, longevity molecule. Right. Because these beautiful molecules support cellular energy production. Remember that we need oxygen to make more energy, the ATP, and we need it in every single part of our body, especially in the brain. Right. Improves all the metabolic health, actually. Right. So this beautiful nitric oxide is the magic molecule. And also, of course, The Waking Techniques includes the rhythm, right? The rhythm that is going to help you to get into the trance and to feel much more relaxed. So let's do this, guys, and then we can open the room for more questions if you have. Let me just go to the breathwork here. Okay, let's do it again. It's only 8 minutes. Remember to breathe in through the nose to the diaphragm, right? And then exhale through the mouth. To just be sure that you are exhaling in a count of 4. Okay. Let's do it. See you in 8 minutes.
With your eyes closed, bring your awareness to the sound. Any sound that draws your awareness in this moment, and the sound of my voice that shall be your guide on this journey into deep gratitude, love for life. And now imagine for a moment there's a movie playing in your mind's eye, and on this movie you are witnessing a scene where you are doing something that you absolutely love with a passion. It gives you Exhilarating feeling, a love for life, deep gratitude. Tune into that moment right now as though it's happening right now. That's right. Make it real. Make it bright. Turn up the dial on this movie screen, making it bigger, brighter, lighter, noticing those good sensations feelings growing inside from your root, trickling up, giving you shivers and tingles and goosebumps as you start to recreate those feelings within. And notice as you do so, you start to see a color that represents these good feelings, good sensations. Whatever that color may be, imagine tuning into that right now with every breath you take in and out as you move this feeling up and down with every breath, filling yourself up with the light of this bliss sensation. In, out. Breathing Breathing in and out, the perfect rhythm and groove of the music. Breathing in deep gratitude, breathing out love. That's right. That's right, feeling this energy moving through you, radiating around you with every breath you take in and out. Those good sensations growing inside. That's right, keep breathing. Keep turning up the dial on those good sensations. Feel it growing inside, filling up your heart with joy. In, to, out, to. That's right. It feels so good. In, to, out, to. Allow yourself to enjoy those feelings, those good sensations. Give yourself permission to completely let go and go with the flow.

Experience a full breath, taking the breath deep in, send the energy up and up and up, and then let go. Breathe fully out and hold your breath after full exhalation and become completely still. Feel those waves of good feelings, the sacred life force energy moving through you, into you, into every single cell of your being. You are channeling pure love and ecstasy from a higher source. Feel yourself filling up with the light of a higher power. When you get that strong big urge to breathe, override that first sensation to breathe. See if you can go slightly beyond the comfort zone. Push past it. And then you feel that energy building, the waves of feelings moving, the sensations growing. Take a deep breath all the way in. Send that energy up and up and up. That's right, pulling up, squeezing up the pelvic floor like a spiral of electric white light moving through you, top of your head. Hold your breath. Continue holding. And then release with the tongue. Ah.
And repeat.
That's right, feel the waves of bliss. Bring yourself back. To normal breathing. Enjoy those sensations, feel the vibrations.
Okie dokie. So bring your energy back again into your body and exhale fully, moving your neck a little bit, stretching if you want. This is a snack. I love to say that. Snack of summer breath, right? So the vibrational energy is so important for you guys to really feel alive. Not always healing or feeling that you're growing or feeling that you are moving forward should be painful. You know, our birthright is to feel pleasure. Our birthright is to feel joy. Our birthright is to feel a spark vibrating being. That is why we came into this world, right? So how cool is that you can bring that into your life using this methodology like soma breath, right? And someone was asking me, are you sure that English is not your first language? I'm sure it's not. It's Spanish. So thank you for that telling me that I articulate, but I have to improve a lot. Thank you. Okay, guys. So the L-O-V-E in Soma Breath, the level of vibrational energy. Your vibration is what is make you build and create your life, right? So all of this week, all of this week that we are teaching you the different ways to breathe, the rhythms, the humming, the om chanting. I know that you were doing shaking on Monday with Lisa. The Hindu squats. And Nigel just did it with more clarity about the diaphragmatic breathing, the coherence breathing. Do you know that our heart spans 5 kilometers of energy? So feeling grateful for your life is actually expanding 5 kilometers around you. And if you are elevating the vibrational electricity to the world, you will attract as well that into your life. That is why some people always say, I don't know why always bad things happen to me. Check out your vibrational energy. Check out your emotions. Check out your feelings, right? So let me just go to the chat a little bit just in case there's anything there that I may— ah, okay, great, thank you. I use dancing and shaking most of my sessions. Amazing. We have incredible music in there as well, guys. If you want to dance, you can go to the Stomach Breath app and you will find music to dance, music to raise. Thank you for saying that my energy is contagious. What about walking and breathing? It is approved or suggested? I don't, I never like do the technique when I'm walking. Like when I walk, I just try to be aware that I'm breathing through the nose and try to breathe in a normal path, right? In a normal sequence. What you can do to train your CO2 is to close one of your nostrils and just breathe in and out through one of your nostrils for a few minutes. But just as part of the technique, right? It's just like when you do your life, your daily life, you're walking, your daily life should be only nasal breathing, right? Always. You're activating your highest destiny. Yes, Camille, love it. Is fire breathing the exercise you did with the sun? Kind of. The fire breathing is a little faster. It's more— it's faster. It's just moving your belly area much faster than what I did. This is more like a little bit of faster rhythm, but not like fire breathing or Bastrika. It's different. And it's just the intention that feels so good, you know. Remember that in somatic breath we use a lot our neurosomatic programming. Imagine you are taking the sun into your solar plexus. Imagine you are living that life. That is completely neurogenesis, right? We're not just reading here. We're using everything we have, all the tools we have to be creators and create the life that you want. So if you want to really get deeper into this, I really recommend you to use the amazing 55% discount we have for the 21 Days Awakening Journey. It's only for 6 more days. Okay. Because in those 4 weeks is when you get deep, deep into what this technique can do to your life. It's a very transformative program and we don't usually do this kind of discount. So it's 55% for more, for 6 more days because we really want to bring as much as we can to breathe, right? To be healthier, calmer. And happier. PTSD is draining my desire. Breathe, girl. Breathe. Breathe. Desire is your birthright. Again, it's so beautiful to live with desire. So, yes, it will help you a lot to do this kind of exercises. I am always dancing through my mouth. I don't recommend to do that. Again, as I told in the beginning, when you feel that the dancing is too much and you need to open your mouth, Calm down the movement and use your nose, please. You will see that it's much better. Okay? Thank you. Okay, yeah, Maria was amazing. Thank you, Maria. If you work out, does it matter where in the movement you breathe in or— okay, that is a good one too. So, when you're working out, like I do weights, and I try to be very aware of my breathing when I'm using weights, when we're doing like force, you can inhale, like if we're doing a push-up, right? So when we, when we push, it's inhale, hold, inhale, hold push-ups. But when we are doing flexibility, then I will exhale and hold the exhalation because I need to be more flexible.. But with push-ups, weights, if you can do that a little bit in your workout, it will be amazing. Because when you hold your breath, as you learn with Niraj Naik Naik, you get more efficient with the oxygen in the muscle that you're training. And remember that the muscle is really related with your memory. Everyone here over 40 should be doing weights, men and women. Okay. And also doing workouts holding your breath and using your nose. Is activating the nitric oxide. That is key. Okay. Key, key, key for this. Okay. What else? What else? What else? Davita, I love your comments. I think that we can actually be more deep into that. So if you can, if you can reach me like in person, We can talk for sure. I love it here. We love you, Ruth. Ruth is an amazing instructor from New York. No tension in my neck. Perfect. I felt this was challenging holding your breath. That's okay. It's okay. Joy and bliss. Just train. Do the training every day. Nose is happier. That's great. Thank you for having the camera on you so we could see the breathing in and out. Yeah, you're welcome. Thank you for my accent. I think my accent is very, very sexy, actually. We are 3 mentors in Summer Breath that we guide students through the course, and we have me, David from France, and Nigel from Scotland. So we have 3 very, very specific accents, but I think that mine is much sexier than the other ones. Yeah, completely. Like, no French, no, uh, I think mine is like the perfect hot, hot accent for this kind of experiences. Uh, I love you too, Dina. Um, yes, Miguel, the surrounding also influence the vibration, and, and this is so important what you said. Like, yeah, the surrounding. I, I am, I'm super lucky I live in the mountains, I live in nature, But if you have the chance a week, or one day, you know, I like to just connect with nature because nature is also medicine. It is more effective to be sitting, or can we do this like that? You can lie down or sit down. The most important thing— I think I froze. I'm back. Okay. I froze for a second. Someone was asking, is more effective to be sitting or lie down? Doesn't matter. The important thing is what is more comfortable for you. What we don't want is that you will be interrupted. You will be interrupted for any body situation. So, for you, it's more comfortable lying down? Perfect. Now, if you're doing the mula bandha technique, I will say that sitting down is better, but again, it's much better to really be aware and be confident that you will not be disturbed with any body issue. Okay, can you demonstrate the fire breathing? Okay, the fire breathing looks like this. Yes, it's super fast, only for the nose. It's super good for energy, guys. It's amazing, really. I hope that my belly— well, I am very proud of my belly. 55-year-old belly, I think it's amazing. But it's faster, right? It's— you can use for your hands up, for example, and just Breathe like that, like with intention of energy. It helps a lot also if you want to lose weight, especially for women. So yeah, I love it. I have to be careful though, because I'm very fiery. So depends on how my fire is, I will do maybe better, like slower. But yeah, I love fire breathing. And you can imagine even if you're sitting down, you can imagine that you are connected from the roots for your chakra, first chakra, the roots of your body, and you're connected down, down, down into the center of the earth like a volcano. And then you are, you know, bringing that volcano energy to your body, to the roots, and then you're expanding up. The power of visualization, guys. That is the fire breathing. Okay, what else? Can I train to hum? Humming, that is a very good question as well. Thank you. Humming is something that you can do even driving, in the shower. Just if we go out now, you can, hmm, breathe in, hmm. It's amazing. You can do it for as long as you want. And especially for people who have issues with the nose, you will see that it will run more. Much more because again, the nitric oxide also helps to clean the nose. Okay, you're welcome. Yes, it's very interesting to understand the CO2 process. I was, my mind was blown up when I was learning this with Niraj. And actually, if you integrate everything you're learning with Niraj this week and Nigel and all the amazing instructors is that What we need to do is to breathe less. We need to breathe slower. So we usually breathe 17 to 18 times per minute, and that's a lot. We need to try to go down to 12. So breathe slower brings more CO2 levels in the blood. Your oxygen molecules will be more efficient. Your parasympathetic nervous system will be more activated, and you will have longevity. Also, when you do that diaphragmatic breathing in a very awareness way every single time in your day, you are connecting with your guts. Remember that our guts is our emotional brain. What is an emotion? What is an emotion, guys? Let me know in the chat. Yes, it's energy in motion. That is an emotion, energy in motion. And we have much more communication from the guts to the brain. We produce serotonin in the guts. Okay, so also the diaphragm is activating the guts and also is activating your vagus nerve. And the vagus nerve for chronic pain, inflammation is the key. So you see the whole system that we do in Summer Breath. Everything integrated, and the body needs to be integrated as well, right? And how I feel, how I feel knowing that I'm living my dream life, how I feel knowing that I have the power to change my life, how I feel waking up every morning with vitality and spark of life is what is going to manifest, is the creation. Right? It's the way that you will start thinking. And you live what you think. Yes. Okay, you're welcome, everyone. Super happy to, to still be with almost 230 people in the room. I'm so excited. Okay, so Q&A. Anyone who has a question, this is the moment. Remember, again, again, my biggest recommendation is to be a Soma Breath app member right now, right away, today. Okay, because this is a habit. This is not magic. This is not, I'm going to breathe one day and I'm going to do a Bhastrika breathing and I will have my energy every single day. No, this is a habit. It's a lifestyle. Soma Breath is a lifestyle. Okay, it's something that you don't do because I have time. I do it because it's a lifestyle. It's a habit in me. Right? So using that, it's very important. And also, if you want to get deeper, I really recommend to go to the 21. This is a change, life change, guys. I actually became an instructor because I did the 21 days. Okay, I did it and it was like incredible. I couldn't even believe how I was feeling just breathing. And we are 4 instructors running the 21 days. So you will have David. Nigel, Kyle, or me. We have 4 instructors doing 21 Days. You can choose the one that suits you better in the time that suits you better. No problem. But we are 4 instructors guiding the 21 Days, and we, we make sure that you get the best experience. Okay, you just purchased the 21 Days, Denise? Yes, amazing! So the 21 Days, if you guys want to hear a little bit about what it goes, is one live call every week that usually is about 2 hours. One week, one call per week live with an instructor who's going to explain the process of that week. And then every single day from, let's say that we have the call on Monday, every day until the next Monday, you will do self-study, self-study, self-practice. Then we come back again together second week, a live call for 2 hours where the instructor explains the second week, and then you will have self-study for the second week. That is how it works. But it's a lot of information, a lot of value. Okay. Can you vary instructor or use the same one? No, we are only 4 instructors for the moment who does the 21 days. So you have, you have a lot of quality instructors that you can choose. Okay. I'm confused as some of some instructors say nose breathing Some says breathe out via the mouth. Okay, I will explain again, Jen. If you want, if you feel, because we have a lot of yogis in the somabreath world that they say, I feel much comfortable doing the breathing in and breathing out through the mouth, through the nose. Perfect. You can do it. If you feel it, you like it, it's your way, amazing. We are going to try to make you exhale through the mouth. We never were going to tell you to breathe in through the nose. What happens sometimes, sometimes in in-person trainings with Niraj, for example, in Austria— actually, this is a good moment to let you know that we have in-person trainings coming and one awakening journey retreat with Niraj in Austria. It happens that you may have an experience with Niraj where he will ask you to breathe in and out through the mouth in a very specific moment for a very short time of the experience because he is looking to something else. That's a very different thing. But as a mandatory technique, we breathe in through the nose, we will breathe out through the mouth. Daily life, we breathe in through the nose all the time, in and out through the nose. If you're a yogi, and you feel that you can control your exhalation through the nose using some breath techniques, that's good too. Yes? Clear? Never breathe through your mouth. The mouth is to eat, to think, to speak, to kiss, not to breathe. Okay? The nose has the magic within. Okay, we have some questions. Let's come to Clarita. Okay, Clarita. Hello, Clarita. I love your name. Clarita, do you speak Spanish? Ah, hola. Yes, of course.
Clarita is like an Argentine. I am from Argentina, but living in Florida. Yes, so it's good to see everyone. I have a question regarding the 21 days. If you are not able to be present in the live meeting, can you watch it later? Because I have, like, a super full, packed up schedule as of now.
Yes, a very good question. Yes, you have all the replays. So if you cannot be live, you will be able to watch the replay in a few, few hours after. Awesome.
Thank you. And then we can choose one of the instructors. Like, if I feel more comfortable with you, I can do it with you.
Of course. Awesome. Of course.
And now going back to the techniques, the very basic one that is in the morning as soon as you wake up, the morning best time.
Yeah.
Yes. Is it as soon as your consciousness arrives to your body while you are just— you woke up and just inhale, exhale, and release the the breath through your nose and then hold for as long as you can until the uncomfortable, the threshold, a little bit over the threshold. You do it as you receive the consciousness and then you sit on the edge of the bed and you do that?
Or you can go to— No, you wake up and then you can go to pee. That is something that I need to do every morning.
That's what I wanted to know. Because I did it like— yes, I did it like that 2 days ago, and I noticed that I couldn't go beyond like 25 when I am able to go further. And then today I went pee, I came back, I sat on the edge of the bed, I regained consciousness of my breathing, and then I was over like 57, and I stopped because I was like, nah, This is, this is not possible.
Yes, you can. What I do, for example, I wake up, I usually need to go to pee first because I'm, if not, it would be bad. So I go to the bathroom and then I sit down in my bed. I take a big inhale, big exhale, hold, and then I measure my morning breath hold time. Yeah. Awesome.
So it's through the nose in and out?
Yes, through the nose in and out. And then What I don't recommend is to do like a few rounds of breathwork or even like an awareness. No, just right away you feel like, okay, I'm awake. Just breathe in through the nose, breathe out through the nose.
Close it and hold. Okay. Just to start off. Okay.
Thank you so much. Yes. Oh, you're welcome, darling. I'm happy to have an Argentinian girl here. Yes. I love Argentina, by the way. So beautiful. Okay, so, oops, let's go to Ping. Ping. Hello, hello, hello.
Hi, hi everyone. Thank you. I have a question. I think I'm a bit obsessed with the breath holding time. So I keep pushing myself and now I've done 6 minutes of breath holding time. 6 minutes. So I really every time I was a little bit more, a little bit more. So when I'd done the 6 minutes and 2 seconds and I stopped but I start to feel slightly a bit dizzy. So I give, you know, my daughter or friend is, oh, you should stop it, and you know, you're in danger or something. But I don't, I, after a while, you know, I feel like everything's fine. I'm just thinking, should I just stop myself there, or, but it's not in danger, isn't it? Or just, you know, is it like breathing, breathing out, that out-holding time?
Okay, so if you want to be a free diver, I think it's good to train to hold your breath 6 minutes. That's it. If you want to do a free diver. What is the purpose of the intermediate hypoxia and the benefits of the intermediate hypoxia? You can get it completely if you hold your breath 50 seconds. Even 60 seconds, you will get the benefits. I never recommend anyone to go that beyond. Like, too much to push, to push yourself too much, I think is a stress response that, again, if you're not wanting to be a free diver, it doesn't make any sense. And when you take that sip of air, right, if it's one or twice or three times, doesn't matter because you will get into the intermittent hypoxia anyway. If you want to see that that happens, you just put the oximeter in your finger. And when you're holding your breath, just watch your oximeter. That is the oxygen levels, the oxygen saturation is going down. And when you take that sip of air, watch the oximeter. The oximeter goes up a little bit and then goes down again very fast. So, you will be in intermittent hypoxia even if you sip air 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 times, right? Again, the idea of this intermittent hypoxia on the training is, of course, get better. But 50 seconds, 60 seconds, 1 minute is amazing already. It's— you're not going to have more benefits because you hold longer. That is not what it is. You know what I mean? So get out of that mode of perfection because, again, be aware of how your body feels. Like if you are in stress, if you feel like you're dying, if you feel like or that sensation that I need to push more, I need to push more. Why? Why do you need to push more?
When I've done the 4 minutes, I can quite easily hold, but when I push to 5 minutes and I feel like, oh, I'm not existing now, my whole chest, everything is just expanding.
I thought, that's great.
So I wouldn't say fun, but it's something I was just like, my body's heated up and it got you know, just like the energies push me, feel it. So I thought, okay, I want to see what is more. So that's kind of like pushing. But I think it now you explain is no necessary.
And I'm don't—
I don't take a breathing between one go.
Um, so I think it now you— that's amazing. I just—
yes, I don't want to be diver.
I can't diver. Okay. Already, that is amazing. So keep going with that. Be aware of your body, be aware how you feel. But again, the benefits of intermittent hypoxia that you're getting is from holding 40 seconds, right? And then remember that we have— this is a very small breathwork, but you will have 2 rounds, 3 rounds, 4 rounds. You will have 4 intermittent hypoxia states that you will be living and experiencing in the, in the session. So Very good work, but again, just don't push like that mindset on I need to go further to be better. You know what I mean? Yeah.
Okay, I will miss all of the live session because I got 20 minutes. I'm going to go to airport. I'm going to go back to China for 3 months because of the time. So I probably will miss all the live session, but I will use the app, you know. I think Monica said I can use the app. Yes, but I will see you all when I come back, back to UK.
Yes, of course, we will see you again. Have a safe flight. Bye-bye, Ping. Thank you. Ping has also been, um, being in, um, in some in-person trainings in London with Theodore, my business partner. Yeah, okay, let's have Andrea. Andrea, welcome. You need to unmute. Okay.
Yes, I think we both pushed the button at the same time and it canceled me out. Actually, I will be going to the Life Training in Austin, Texas, so I'm looking forward to that, the personal experience. But one of my questions is, I myself and quite a few people that I know are suffering from ADHD, and that's when you're easily distracted and you may go on these different journeys of trying to get answers to things you're trying to resolve during your work time, and you know, your time just passes away. So can Selma Breath help with being more focused, having a calmer and clearer mind to get you through the day?
Of course, it will help a lot. So you need to be aware, you will learn this with our amazing instructor in Austin, actually Dustin and Mimi. And both of them are going to be there. What happens with people who are struggling with this anxiety or these kind of feelings, I will say that be aware that maybe in the beginning you need to do just rhythmical breathing. Don't do breath holds, for example. Like breath holds can be very stressful for these people. Maybe just a very slow rhythmical breathing, a 4-4, a 2-4, a 4-8 even. And then with training and practice, then maybe you can integrate some breath holding and see how they feel. If they bring that more calm or relaxation state, then you can continue. But if not, it's perfectly fine to just continue with only rhythmical breathing because that is very beneficial anyway.
So, like in the mornings using slow rhythmical breathing to calm your mind and kind of set the stage for your day?
Yeah. Like, for example, I think Lisa did this example on Monday where you breathe in through the nose. And then you imagine you have a straw in your mouth and then you just go with that exhalation like you're having a straw in your mouth. It's very slow, very slow exhalation. And that is very fast to calm people down. For example, if then you are going to build an awakening journey or some breathwork session, then with the rhythms that are very slow, you can integrate neurogenesis, maybe helping them to imagine you are, I don't know, floating in a cloud, and this cloud represents security, and you feel that your body is completely melting in this cloud, that you feel secure and supported. And then you can use all of those techniques. But even just with that example, that breathing in through the nose and breathing out through the straw is going to help a lot.
Yeah, I think that a lot of people are looking for that right now. Even if they don't have ADHD. Thank you.
You're welcome, darling. Thank you for being here. Okay, so I know that Diana is here, guys. Diana is a regular. Okay, it's a regular. She's always in every Sunday session, every Sunday activity. So I always look at her. Don't worry. And I always give her the space and the time to to celebrate her. She's beautiful. If you can unmute that, Diana. Oops. Yeah. Oh, I unmute you. No, mute. Unmute again. Unmute again. Sometimes we hear her voice. Sometimes I don't know why. Like now we cannot hear a little bit maybe, but she has the most amazing voice. She's a beautiful human being. We love you a lot. We have her every single time again in every session, every experience with Summer. So thank you for being with us, darling. We always see you, love you, and we send you a lot of love to you always. Thank you for being with us, darling.
Love you.
Love you a lot. Thank you. Okay, let's go to another question here. Let's go to Lalita. I think I said it well. Yes, please. If you're driving, drive safe. Okay, I'm gonna, I'm gonna pull over. Be safe, please. Um, but the question is quite quick. Hello, um, it is, is I'm doing the instructor training, I'm just beginning, um, and I want to know if the 21 days is part of that, the 21 days Transitions. Yes, it's part of that. Is it already? Yes, don't do anything yet. Yeah, book your— or book that call and— Okay, you're cutting out. Oh, now, now I'm good now. Okay. Yeah, you're good now. Yeah, so don't, don't do anything. Just book your onboarding call. That is the first call with a mentor. You go to the onboarding content, you book the onboarding call, and then the 21 days is included in the course. But with the onboarding call, you will have more clarity on when you can take that course, that program. Brilliant. Okay, thank you so much. You're welcome, and welcome to the tribe. Woo-hoo! I love that we have more women. Amazing. Yeah, remember that we are Mercury retrograde, so we have these things. People don't believe me, but Mercury retrograde is something that usually happens. Okay, thank you, Lalitha, for being with us. Please drive safe. That is the most important thing, that you drive safe, please. Let's come to Adam. Adam is another Summer Breath instructor. Hello, darling. Hello, can you unmute?
Yeah, I'm trying. I'm good. There you go. Yes.
Yeah.
So it's a question about like technique. I'm usually doing like diaphragmatic breath that way, inflate my stomach, but then I do the full expansion to move it to the chest. I don't stay low. Uh, so the question is, I think that's good, uh, because I, I find my breath holds are longer when I do inflate both the diaphragm and the chest. But the question is, when you get into like faster breathing, the 2:2 and even the 1:1, uh, it's like harder to like catch up. Is it, is it still recommended to do both or just keep it low in the diaphragm?
Very good question. So I will I will recommend everyone to be breathing in through the diaphragm because when we put the chest into the equation, it's a little bit more hyperventilation. That is why you can hold your breath longer, right? So, we try to first really train our diaphragm, the belly area. I mean, the diaphragm is not only the belly, it's in front, the side, and the back, but that will require more training. And not trying to use the chest too much, just the belly area. So then we hold our breath. Using a very normal breathing. That is why sometimes, guys, for everyone here, when you do a faster rhythmical breathing, you feel that you can hold longer, right? When we do normal breathing, 2-4-4-4, like slow rhythmical breathing, then is when we try to train that intermittent hypoxia because we will be having a little more already CO2 in the blood. So then we need to train that tolerance. To keep it higher, right? So if you can try to just keep it in the belly, that would be nice.
Okay. So what I've been doing that I inflate the belly and then after I move it up to the chest, I shouldn't. I should just keep it low.
Yep.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
Thank you.
Yeah. You're welcome. You're welcome. Okay, um, Jeb. Hi.
Hi. Hi.
Is that me? Yes.
Yes.
Oh, hello.
Uh, so yeah, nice to meet you. My name is Jeremy. Um, I've been doing breathwork for, for many, many years, and I've really been enjoying, first of all, this Soma Challenge. Uh, my question is about breath hold. So a lot of the breathwork experiences that I do usually entail like a titration effect. So we're breathing quicker, quicker, quicker, then we're doing a breath hold at the end. But we're initiating the breath hold on the inhale, right? And then we're going to release it and do a breath, a second breath hold after the exhale. Now, when I'm going through the challenge, I know we're doing the intermittent hypoxia test or the exercise where it's the opposite effect. I was just curious if you could speak to that a little bit because like, does one have a different effect than the other? And there's a better time to use, you know, the inhale first versus the exhale first breath hold? Explain this well. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
Thank you. Well, no, thank you for your question. I'm going to silence you because I have an echo. Now I don't. Okay. So this is a very good question, actually. When we breathe in and hold, our inhale is activation, is stress response, is energy, right? We are trying to move the energy up into our brain. It's a sensation that not everyone likes. Right? It's like, it's like a container of energy in my, in my, in my words. Very masculine. I think maybe men really like more this, like activating that energy, right? I will say that it doesn't really make a difference if you hold more in or in the out. It's just like different sensations. And I think that everyone here is a very specific human and universe. So you need to find out where I need, I feel more comfortable holding. So if I feel more comfortable holding in because I feel energy, I want energy, I want, you know, push up my, my, my, my energy into my brain, I can keep that. That's amazing. And then you can, if you can actually exhale with a humming, that would be great. My personal recommendation, instructor, this is personal. Of course you don't need to be agree with me. I think that now what we need is to really get in the opposite state. We need to go to the relaxation state where we can hold our breath in a relaxed situation, in a relaxed position where my shoulders are down, when I, and I close my energy to the head and I just keep the breath out here. And when I can really be in that sense of relaxation instead of stress, you know. It's again my personal, personal, personal opinion about how I feel with the inhale. I really struggle with inhale. Usually can hold much longer when I exhale. For example, I know that I don't know, I don't remember the name of this guy, but it's a trainer and he trains freedivers. And I know that he usually do the intermediate apnea in the inhale, right? Steve or Steven, maybe the name, I don't remember. And I tried that and I didn't like it. I couldn't— I, for me now in menopause as well, I try to get out of stress and then the stress response, you know, I need to calm down. So it makes sense. Like Denis said, again, it's about you. What do you feel? How do you feel it? Which face is more comfortable for you to hold longer? But what we want— oops, where is— where he goes? Well, maybe he got angry. No, I don't think so. I don't know where he goes. Yes, Stig. Stig. Thank you, Dennis. Yeah, I was trying to do his training where he really— and actually Niraj has a lot of interviews with him and he just makes things together. But that in-holding, I don't like it personally. I don't feel comfortable. It feels that I'm stressed and I feel like, oh my God, I want to, you know, Quit this stuff. But I'm one holding, it's more relaxed because remember that Niraj explained as well that when we hold our breath out, we are in the parasympathetic nervous system. When we hold our breath in, it's the sympathetic. It's not wrong or right because we need the stress sometimes, right? We need the stress response in our life. It's how do you feel better training that intermittent hypoxia, right? If it's more relaxed for you to hold your breath out, perfect. If it's better holding your breath in, perfect. Now, as instructors, when you work with some clients, let's say that I'm working with someone that is lack of energy, I'm probably going to push a little bit more holding the breath in, but it's little, little, little, not like I need to hold 50 seconds. Just maybe a little, just to ignite a little bit more about the energy that this person needs. And then I will let them go, right? Okay. Now I want to go through the chat because I think we have people asking things here. I have an oximeter and I don't like to go below 87. That's perfect. Yeah, me too. Like 85, 85, maybe 83. I'm cool. I'm good. Yeah, that's good. So, Yeah. Yes. Yeah, everything that you said, it makes sense. Okay. So, again, remember that everyone here is different. You need to be in a safe space and in a safe response. So it is not competition. Okay. Does SOMA recommend a way of eating? Yes. It will depend on how your energy is. I think that that's much profound on how your energy and your dosha type, like if you are a fire person or more vata, more air, there's a lot of Ayurvedic styles that we can recommend you. But for that, the best thing to do, Terry, is to book an instructor, have an instructor, an in-person training, in-person consultation, and then you will have more information about it. But yeah. Yeah, we love that, Diana. We love Diana. You book— yeah, book your boarding call, Elisa says. I'm sorry to hear that, Kathy in Dubai. Please stay safe. We hope— everyone hope that this madness ends hopefully now. Okay, you're welcome, Lakisha. You're welcome, Mary. Okay. I think that everyone else is almost leaving. Yes. Again, guys, use the 55% discount with the 21 days. That is my biggest recommendation. Okay. This is challenging to follow with brain issues. Yes, Catherine. Better to, again, book an instructor, one-on-one consultation. How can breathing control the— oh, this, I love this one. How can breathing control the cortisol level through the day? I mean, I have this. Cortisol, an unbalanced cortisol can bring so much issues into your health, like insomnia, not being able to lose weight, inflammation. Okay. So, first, is being aware of how you're breathing during the day. And maybe put some alarms in your phone, like maybe every 2 hours, 3 hours, where you can actually Om, Om chanting, right? That calm you down, calm your nervous system. And before you go to bed, I would recommend you to do a very slow, like breathing in 4 and breathing out in 8, actually in the app. We have sleep, breathwork to really start working with your cortisol levels. For me, again, breathwork was my life jacket for cortisol levels. Menopause is crazy how this can really bring you a lot of issues. It needs to become a habit. Again, it's not that you will breathe once and then your cortisol levels are going down. It's a habit, doing it every single day, being aware of when you feel that stress response from the cortisol. And bring the breath right away. But yes, it works a lot. Go to the app also. And you can do breathwork. Summer breath is sustainable. So you can do summer breath in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night. The slower breathwork, better for nights. Yeah. Chronic fatigue. Let me know. Tell me, Bailey. Chronic fatigue usually is in the brain. You need to train the intermittent hypoxia to have more energy in your brain. Is there only difference? We still get the same CO2 response with, you know, building an immune— I don't understand that question, Davida. With—
let me—
can you explain better, please? How did breathing help you coping with menopause? That is how— That is a huge whole hour. I don't have the time to tell you. I can tell you that my rebellion was that I didn't want any hormone replacement. That was my rebellion. I told my doctor, I am not going to take any hormone replacement because my body knows, my body is smart. If for some reason we start losing hormones, I need to understand how can I biohack my body to navigate menopause naturally, but it's a very long conversation that I would love to have if you reach me. I'm going to write down here, guys, my Instagram account, okay? My Instagram account is Claudia Solis the Wise. You can, you can chat me there, connect me there. You can send me messages, and also you can, if you want, book a free consultation. So we can really talk longer because it's a very long conversation. But again, you can, we can navigate menopause naturally. Okay guys, I think this has been amazing. I cannot believe that we are still 180 people here. Remember that if you feel the calling, don't wait any longer, book a discovery call, an exploration call with our sales team. Okay, our sales team will help you to understand if this program is for you. Or not. They are amazing salespeople. They are not like only wanting to sell something. They will really understand if you are ready for this course. That is, it needs commitment. Okay, but what can I tell you from my experience? It completely changed my life. It helped me to change my, my work. It helps me to navigate my aging in natural and with this kind of energy. Is helping me to increase my incomes 3 times. It helps me to believe in myself like ever in my life I thought I could. It helped me to feel joyful and pleasure and happy every single day. And also it helps me to meet the most amazing, incredible people in the world, even that Sometimes I don't even— haven't been able to meet them in person. But Lisa, Monica, Nigel, David, Brooke, Olga, and Tammy, who's in the room. Everyone is incredible. Like every single mentorship that I do, my heart explodes of gratitude. And this was only because I believe in myself. Because I use the breath to change my thoughts, to change my energy, to understand that I am the creator and I am unstoppable and that I deserve to live in pleasure. So again, thank you for being with me, guys, today. I hope that you learned a little bit about energy, about vitality. The healing is not always being sad and in pain. In frustration and in anger. Healing can be joyful, it can be excitement, it can be pleasure. Okay, so I hope that you will feel this, you would, or you learn today that we can use our body, our breath, and to really ignite the power within. Okay, so believe in yourself. You are amazing. All of you are incredible. I love you all. Again, I will put again my, my Instagram, um, but it's very funny because it's Claudia Solis the Wise, because that is why I am. I am wiser and wiser every single day, and I hope and I, um, enjoy, and my pleasure is to support you in any way that I can. Okay, okay guys, tomorrow is the last day with Niraj. This— hopefully we will have Niraj, the man himself, closing and integrating with you all everything you've been learning with us this week. And Sunday, you— we have, uh, free Sunday sessions, and I will be guiding this Sunday. So if you want to again feel again my vibe and breathe with me longer, of course, this Sunday I will be with you, and it will be about integration. Because we know that March 8th is Women's Day, right? But this is going to be about integration to be able to respect, to support, right? To be— to, to, to understand that together we're better. We need to be in a community, right? Community is the cure. That is what we say in Summer Breath. So thank you again. I hope that we'll see you on Sunday. Thank you, Monica, again for your beautiful support. Monica in the backstage and Lisa, who was here too as an amazing community manager. I love you all. Tomorrow is the last session at 10 AM East. I don't know who is going to be, hopefully Niraj Naik. If not, I'm sure that you will be with someone amazing. Love you, see you soon, and train, take action. If you don't take action, nothing happens. Okay, time on Sunday, it would be at 10 AM East, or 12, no, sorry, 12 PM. Let me check, Mona. Ah, maybe if you want, just in case you don't know how, I have a few seconds, but let me show you this thing in the app, because I think there's a lot of people here confused. Let me just share with you a few seconds about the app and what you find here. Okay, so if you go to the app, that looks like this. If you go to Here's the 5 Days Challenge, okay, where you can register, but also you have live experiences. When you see live experiences and you see all, you click here, see all, you will get into where you can see the upcoming. So what, what is happening next days? Tomorrow, the 5 Days Breathwork Challenge. Sunday, me. Monday, Barry. The ongoing, this one, of course, replays. Here's where you find all the replays, guys. Okay. All March, March, January, February, you have everything here. Okay. And, um, and the 5 Days Breathwork Challenge replays, you will get them by your email. So stay tuned with that. So here's everything. And again, down, you will also find the breathwork challenge that we will be doing together. We are in day 4, and here you will find again the gratitude breathwork session that you can actually do again if you want. Okay, cool, amazing. Yes, yes, US time change on Sunday. I don't know what is going to be my time. I think it's going to be 1 hour ahead. I don't know, but yes, Sunday Eastern time change. So be aware, be that, breathe and bring awareness on your own time zone and what time that session will be. Okay. And I will see you there to breathe together and integrate together and become together and be in a tribe. Okay. So let's go as I love to go. Let's, let's put some music. And just let's go dancing. Okay, who is ready to move before we go? Okay, ducky, let's do it. 3 minutes, 3 minutes of dancing. 3 minutes, yes, to feel the vibe. Thank you. For being with me today. Thank you for your beautiful energy. Write down "LOV." I love my life. I love my life. I love my life. I love my life. I love my life. Yes, beautiful.
