Welcome everyone to our Breathe Together Sunday. My name is Jason Markkambo. I will be your facilitator for the session today. For those of you who are tuning into the livestream, we welcome you. Know that we do these every Sunday, and this is the brand new session that we've started to introduce to reach some of you in the Oceania, Asia areas, and maybe in the middle of the night in Europe, although I don't recommend, your sleep is important. And if you're tuning in on a Saturday evening 'cause you're from the North or South America, I know it's Saturday, it makes it a little weird, but please know we've started to introduce this for, well, quite a selfish reason. I'm based here in Bali, Indonesia, and the Breathe Together Sundays were happening at quite a late time. And so I said, look, we should start introducing a session that is more inclusive to people around the world. We are a global brand, and so here we are for our Breathe Together Sunday, which is our smaller event. But nonetheless, for those of you who are here and you're joining live, We're going to get a chance to breathe together, and we have an amazing track. It is one of the latest releases track that has come out where we're going to go limitless while listening to some incredible music to get you feeling good, feeling calm, feeling filled with potential, and making sure that the mood has risen by the time you've spent just under an hour with us. So a few logistics to share before we get into this. We're going to be spending around an hour together, not more. I do think we'll be finishing on time. There's going to be two major parts of the session here. I'll get everyone moving and dancing. We're going to do a little shaking. And for those of you who are brand new to Soma Breath, you might be wondering, wow, I came here for breathing, I thought I'd be quite sedentary. But as part of Soma Breath, we know what happens when you start moving the body. It's already a first step to making us feel better. And so we're going to do a little bit of that on some music, and then we'll get into the actual breath practice. I will instruct you all about what to expect on this practice, and so do come prepared. We're going to have a great time together. And just out of curiosity, use your chat if you are here. I'd love me know where you're tuning in from. I already see we got Heather coming in from the West Coast, so I know that makes it a Breathe Together Saturday. But Heather, we're glad you are here. If you're tuning in from the Yucatán Valley— Rain, good to see you— I know Mexico is representing. We have Monica tuning in from the Philippines, myself here from Bali, Indonesia. And so great to see we have people from around the world. Now, who's here for the first time? This is going to be like your first breathing, Soma Breath style. You've maybe heard of Soma Breath, you just, you saw an ad, you're like, what is this Soma Breath? I've heard of breathwork, and you're here for the first time, then you are amongst a great space to discover what Soma Breath is all about. We are finding ourselves at a, in a world where a lot of what we need to heal, to make the world a better place, comes from all of us having a little more self-mastery and self-healing in the process. And the beauty is with just breathing, there is so much that we can do to change our internal states. For anybody who's feeling any kind of anxiety, anybody who's finding themselves that, oh my God, I feel like I'm running out of time, I wish I had more energy. A lot of the pharmaceutical industry feels like you need to reach out to a pill to be able to solve everything that is slightly uncomfortable. And what we want to remind the world is that there's so many tools within our disposal with using our own breath that can change your state in a powerful way. And so bringing you back to the body, this somatic practice is something that we're extremely inspired, passionate about bringing to the world. And so the fact that you're joining here and trying this for the first time, we honor you. We're glad you're here. And Siri, iPhone 13, if you do have a name, feel free to rename yourself so we don't call you iPhone 13. We have a lot of AI going on in the world, but this is a place where we bring the humanity back. So feel free to rename yourself or at least declare what your name is in the chat. And with that, we're gonna get a chance to breathe. So you guys are already interacting in the chat so well, so I'm going to keep pulling on this trend. I'd love to know, you had a whole lot of different things you could be doing right now, but here you are spending an hour to breathe. What brought you here? Was there a certain objective? Were you, were you inspired? Were you just curious? I'd be, I'd be very curious myself to know what made it so that you are here to discover more about what powers of the breath brings you, getting an experience firsthand. Is it stress in the life? Is it looking to master your own state? Is it something that you've noticed somebody has told you about and you wanted to come and experience it yourself? Take a few moments to kind of set the intention, as we say, so that we make sure to address that in the sessions that we're going to be doing today. And for those of you on YouTube, I know there's a, a bunch that are tuning in, know that we are here on Zoom and that's where I get to see your answers. So if you're trapping that into the chat on, on YouTube, I don't get to see it, but we have posted a link for you to join on Zoom. So come over on this side and then we'll have it a more interactive session as we do that. And so while you prepare for those answers, I'm gonna just share a little something, which is what we're gonna be experiencing as a track today are all gonna be things that are found on our Soma Breath app. If you don't already have the app, there is a free version as well as a paid option. And inside the free version, there are some wonderful tracks for you who want to discover, maybe just get a taster of doing the breath protocols by yourself. We encourage you to download that. I had Monica share the link into the chat. And for those of you who want to go deeper within the practice, there's so much that is available on that app to allow you to breathe together, not only on Sundays, but we have some on Mondays, Wednesdays Thursdays, Fridays, there's a whole lot of protocols that happen so that you're never alone when you want to breathe, and you have all the tracks if you do want to go and build your self-practice. Rain here talking about furthering your practice. Rain, glad to see that you're someone who's taking this seriously. I've heard that you've actually started on your breath journey, and what you're going to experience today is going to be a really fun journey that's really going to take it to a, a whole new level. Because here's the biggest thing that we've noticed with people that are attracted to what Soma Breath offers here is that we want to do personal development practices, but does it have to be boring? What if the practice you're trying to do is actually fun to do, and it's— you're inspired to do it, you're, you're excited, you're looking forward to doing it? And this is really what's been engineered in the breath practice we have here at Soma Breath. Although the power that it holds can do amazing things, from healing, from changing states, but at the core of why we're doing this in the way that we're doing this is how can we make it fun? Because if you make it fun it's easy to continue the practice. It's never a dread. And so we have amazing music where you're going to be breathing in beats, and there's going to be all the languaging inside, inside the track that makes it so that you are guided for whatever results you're looking for and the intent that you've set. And with that, we're doing a protocol that genuinely changes your biological markers to the more positive states. So you're going to get to experience all of that today. And just sharing a bit here of what other people are sharing, we got Heather loving the community and the breathwork practice. Heather, it's great to see you We have Melissa here. I did some Soma Breath last night for the first time with a practitioner. Fantastic. I'm a long-time transformational breath teacher myself, but I've never, never been out of practice for a while now, and I need this to reconnect. Period of feeling very disconnected. Well, Melissa, we're sending you some love, and I think this is a perfect opportunity to test one of the functions we have here, which is on Zoom there is this react button. You should find it at the bottom, and I want you all to use the react button if you want to send some love over to Melissa so she knows she is not alone. She is part of this tribe, and we're all going to set an extra intention today, which is we're going to send some extra love for Melissa. You are not alone. We're going to support, and we're doing this as a community, and that's why we get to support each other doing incredible things. So with that, if you do have your camera, feel free to turn it on. I know a few of you have already. We're going to first start with our warm-up exercise, which is going to be a shaking protocol. Yes, shaking. When you shake the body to music, there are some positive effects that happen, and those are going to get your endorphins up. They're going to get all of the states to change. So whatever's been baggage you're carrying— you were in the middle of the weekend or at the beginning of it— we want to let go everything that's been in the way. You might have had a fun week, you might have had a hard week, none of that will matter. We're going to shake it off. We're going to reset the nervous system so that we're ready to go into a breath practice. So if you are not the shy type, you can turn on your camera and I'm going to ask you to stand up. And now my guidance is going to be a little more difficult because I will be stepping away from the microphone. But what we're going to do is, you know, those vibrating plates that you've seen in those like gym places in the mall, and then they're showcasing how you can like get on these plates to get a workout. Well, we don't need the plate. We're going to shake ourselves and have a short track that we're going to play and we're going to start with low vibration. We're going to shake. And at the end, we might go all out and dance a little bit. So get on your feet.
Let's get started with our shaking protocol. Most of your head is—
you're standing close, and that's okay.
All we want to focus on is the shaking.
If you're feeling the rhythm, you can shake to the rhythm. Just a gentle shake. We're going to go for about 3 minutes here, so If you're feeling strange about shaking, you're not alone.
You can smile about it. Keep shaking because you'll feel amazing in a few minutes.
As we get into it, let's go to a 6 out of 10.
And slow it down.
Now just move with it. We're gonna shake side to side.
We're getting towards the last minute of the song. I want you to turn up that vibration plate to an 8 out of 10.
That was the song "Yeah" with a saxophone.
Amo mi vida.
That's another song. If you're curious about that one, it's also available on the app. Rain, thanks for being a sport with the camera. We got— you did that perfectly. For those of you who decided to stay behind, that's fine. If you're here for the first time, it's a little intimidating to shake in front of a camera, so no worries. As long as you got yourself heart rate moving a little, stress has left a lot, and we're going to get into our breath practice. How are we feeling, Christina? I heard that you couldn't hear the instructions too much. As long as you were watching me and Rain Dancing, you were on the right track. So with that, we're gonna go ahead and get ready for the breath practice. So Couple things I'm going to indicate. If you have a pair of headphones, it definitely enhances the experience. It's not required, but if you can put on a head— a set of headphones, you're going to get to see that this really turns it up one notch. The track that we're going to do today is Limitless. It's going to be a few cycles that are going in a 4-4 count. And while you're going through a Soma Breath Protocol, there are 3 major phases that we're going to go through. The first one is that we're going to be breathing in beats. That means on that count of 4 in, 4 out, music's going to be playing and we're going to breathe along with the music. The breathing in beat is one of the most powerful places where we're consciously breathing in a smooth, continuous rhythm with the music. And the way that we inhale is going to be through the nose, and the way that we exhale is going to be through the mouth. And if you put your hands on your chest and your belly you should be breathing from the belly. So when you inhale, you should feel the belly go up, and when you exhale, you should feel the belly go down. So we're doing deep breathing through the belly on a 4-count. So this will be the first phase of the Soma Breath Protocol. Now, as we're breathing in beats, at some point you're going to hear the cue that's going to suggest for you to take a deep inhale and then you're going to exhale fully. And that's when you're going to hold. This is going to be your first breath retention phase on an exhale. So with your lungs completely out of breath, we're going to retain as long as we can following the cues from the music. Now, if you find yourself not able to hold on for the duration that is being suggested for the breath retention, you'll always have a chance to take a sip of air through the nose and a quick exhale to be able to extend the period, such as— and it gets to extend the period if you get to a point that you cannot hold any longer. Now, part of this practice is actually about pushing past your comfort zone just a little bit. So I will encourage you to hold for as long as you comfortably can, although it's going to get a little bit outside of your comfort zone. Push and hold as much. And through the benefits that come from this breath retention really comes from you just pushing that extra little mile. Now, for anybody who has any kind of health conditions, you're under doctor supervision, pregnancy, if you're having any kind of heart conditions, I would advise perhaps not doing the breath retentions, but you can continue breathing in rhythm during the breath retention phases if there's any health conditions that make it so that this practice would not be something you're comfortable with. For the majority of individuals, this is perfectly fine, but if you are under any kind of supervision or medication that's related to the heart, definitely consult with a doctor. And if you just want to breathe in rhythm, that is perfectly fine, and that is totally safe. So after we get to the end, you'll get a cue. We're holding our breath as long as we can. You'll hear the cue about taking a deep inhale, and then we're going to do a breath retention at the top of our breath. So with a full inhale, we'll actually hold the breath, and we'll actually squeeze the sphincter muscle. So imagine when you really have to pee and you have to like hold it in. You're going to actually do that contraction with your breath Breathe fully in and send the energy up, and you're going to feel this cocktail of amazing endorphins, hormones, oxytocin. All those neurochemicals are going to start firing up and you'll be in a very blissful state. And then that's going to be a much shorter retention, and then you'll be exhaling with an um, um, and that will be the completion of a cycle. And we're going to do a few of these. If you haven't heard anything I just said, don't worry, it's all going to be repeated inside of the process. So you're going to be reminded. Minded. But now that you've had your first kind of indication of what to expect, it'll give you the guidance to be able to follow along on the journey today. And as I've mentioned, we are going to be doing a very special journey. It's going to be under 20 minutes, so it's going to be a relatively fast journey, and— but that doesn't take away from the power and how amazing this journey is. It's one of our newest releases, Becoming Limitless, guided by Niraj Naik himself, and the music is a collaboration with Themba. Who is one of the most amazing Afro dance DJs who has been climbing up the chart and has published this track with us. So expect music that's going to be very energizing, very fun, Afro beats. And so you should be feeling good. This is going to be fun. So whether you're doing this in the morning or the evening, you're going to be feeling great. You're either going to have a great day or sleep like a baby. Whatever that is, it's going to be a good thing. Are you all ready? To experience your Soma Breath journey. Type in 'I'm ready' in the chat while I'm going to get prepared to make sure we can get this going in a powerful way. And this would be a time— final indication I'm going to share is you have two choices to do this while you are seated or lying down. That is totally up to you. I will say this, given that it's a relatively short journey, because some of our deeper journeys do go up to the hours, I usually recommend to lie down for the longer ones. For a 16-minute one If you're sitting down, I think you're going to have a fantastic time. I usually do this one sitting down. Often I do this one in a sauna— not recommended unless you have experience— but nonetheless, it's one of my favorite tracks. So I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I do, and let us begin with our breath session for today.
Bring your awareness to the sound, any sound that draws your awareness in this moment, right now. And the sound of my voice, that shall be your guide on this journey to becoming limitless. Imagin that there's a movie playing in your mind right now, and on this movie you can project an image. Of a world of your own creation, a limitless world where time, money are no objects, where the limits are the boundaries of your own creative imagination. See what you'd see, feel what you'd feel, hear what you'd hear, You're living and breathing this moment right now, as though it's happening right now. You are in a limitless world of your own creation. Imagine you are the world's greatest director of this movie right now. Start to see the scenes of the results of the results of all the things that you would create in this limitless world. That's right, turn up the lights, the colors, the sounds, and step into this movie as though it's happening right now. Now imagine with every breath you take in and out, as we get ready to breathe in a rhythm, you are charging yourself up with the light of a limitless potential. 3, 2, 1, exhale. And in, 2, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4, in, 2, that's right, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, keep breathing, keep connecting, 2, 3, 4, out. Taking a deep breath in. 2, 3, 4. And letting go. With no pause between inhale and exhale. Breathing in. 2, 3, 4. And letting go. 2. Making that conscious, connected, rhythmic breath.
3, 4.
The rhythm and groove of the music.
3.
That's right.
In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4.
Imagine right now you're charging yourself up with this light of a limitless potential, expanding to your ability to become truly creative, limitless to your potential.
4.
That's right. Charge it up for right now.
In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4. Out. 2, 3, 4.
That's right, you're doing great. 3, keep breathing, keep connecting. 2, turn up the dial, those sensations. 2, 3, breathe in the limitless light. 3, 4, into every cell of your being right now. That's right.
2, 3.
Now take a deep breath in and breathe all the air out. That's right. And hold your breath after full exhalation. As life is just a series of inhales and exhales, as you press pause on your breath, you press pause on life in this moment, allowing the thought files to reassemble. Clearing the clutter of the unconscious mind. You have 60 seconds remaining in this breath retention phase. If you get an urge to breathe, you can breathe in, breathe out, and hold your breath and continue holding. But if you feel big strong urge to breathe, just come back to normal breathing. That's right. No force, no strain. Imagine right now a light of pure limitless potential is shining through the top of your head right now, connecting you to the earth, creating an orbit, a circuit of the light You have 20 seconds remaining in this breath retention phase. Notice you're filling yourself up with this light, becoming one with its limitless power. Now, when you feel you cannot hold your breath any longer, take a deep breath all the way in and send the energy up. Contract up the sphincter muscles, pull up the energy, up, up and up, like a spiral of electric lights up through the midbrain, illuminating you to your higher power. That's right, send the energy up, send it up. And now hold your breath until instructed and witness The light. Now let go of the tone.
Huh. Aham.
And now let's get ready for round 2. So get ready to breathe in a rhythm. 3, 2, 1, exhale.
And in, 2, 3, 4. 4 out 2-3-4 in— [SPEAKING CHINESE] In 2-3-4 out! 2-3-4... Oh my God!...in 2-3-4 out! 2-3-4... oh no!...out! 2! 3—4... And again. 2—3—4 out. 2—3—4 up-in. 2—3—four out. 2—three four on-in. 2—three four-out. Two-three-four down-up-down. Up—in two three for-a-nt? Down-two tree-for-of-the-way?! Oohh yeah baby boy! Ohhh yes sir! Yes ma'am! You're welcome to my house anytime you 4. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4.
In, 2, 3, 4. Out. That's right, keep breathing, keep connecting. Charge yourself up with the limitless light of pure positive potential. 3, 4.
In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4.
Out, 2, 3, 4. Breathing in, 2, 3, 4. And letting go, that's right. 3, 4. Breathing in, 2, 3, 4, and letting go. That's right. Keep breathing, keep connecting, charge it up. 3, 4, out.
2, 3, 4, in. 2, 3, 4, out.
2, 3, and now take a deep breath all the way in, send the energy up. And breathe all the air out. That's right. And hold your breath after full exhalation. As you are amazing miracles of light, you already have everything you need to receive Deep within your heart, soul, and mind, you are a creative genius with a limitless potential to create the world in your image. Allow it. To awaken right now. You have 60 seconds remaining in this breath retention phase. And again, you feel that first big urge to breathe, you can take a sip in and breathe out and hold your breath after full exhalation, going deeper and deeper within your own mind. Then you feel strong urge to breathe. Override that first urge to breathe. Go slightly beyond the comfort zone. Then you cannot possibly hold your breath any longer. Take that deep breath all the way in and send the energy up like a spiral of electric light, up and up and up into the midbrain, illuminating you to a higher power. Witness the limitless light of your full creative potential awakening. Right now. You have 20 seconds left in this breath retention phase. Now let go with the tone. Huh.
Ham.
Coming back to normal breathing. Bring your awareness to the body, noticing any changes and any ideas, thoughts, visions that come to you in this moment. Pay attention as they are important. They come from a higher space. I notice when I say the word limitless, there's a color that comes to your mind of a light of limitless potential. See that color right now. Become the channel of that light. And know that you can step into its power just by closing your eyes, witnessing the light, becoming a channel, breathing that light into every cell of your being. That's right. So as you come back to normal breathing, know that as you leave this experience today, You shall do so with a new sense of positive energy connected to a light of a higher power, power to become creative, step into the most potent and bold creative potential. Use it. To make this world a better place. Much love and positive energy. Peace.
Welcome back, everyone.
Hello, how are we feeling?
This is definitely one of my most fun, energizing tracks. One that if you're looking to build a daily habit is quite an enjoyable one to set up. And so let's see here if there's anything you want to share in the chat. I see Heather's like, so good. And if I'm not mistaken, Heather, you're trying to get back into this habit. And so Heather, I'm glad you love this community and this practice was fun. Rain's like, this was awesome, And for those of you who might be just hearing this on the streaming platforms like YouTube, we hope that if this was the first time you got to do breathwork— and look, we do have a lot of tracks that have, you know, the handpans, the relaxing meditative settings, because some breathwork sessions can have very different intentions. This was not one of those. This was really a production with Themba, Afrodance while breathing. We wanted this to be a really fun way for you to experience Breathe Together Sunday. And I'd love to hear if there's anybody who'd be open to sharing what that experience was for them. And since Rain has her video on, I think I'm going to pick on you and give you permission to unmute. And I'd love to hear, how was this experience for you?
It was so wonderful. My head is just kind of like feeling airy. And yeah, I truly felt, felt like I connected to, I don't know, something more. Like I said in the chat, I'm feeling so much love and peace.
Yay, that's amazing!
Well, that's my first Soma, my first Soma event, so super stoked on that.
Yeah, well, yeah, I think you played full on. Thank you for, um, you know, getting outside your comfort zone, doing the dancing, and then getting into the breathing. And honestly, this is it. This is what the whole practice is about. And again, this was a very short practice. So you can see this is the type you can build as a daily practice. And I'm so glad that you got all the effects that you were looking for. Had you done any type of breathwork that had the breath retentions before?
No, no, no. Yeah, so first time. I did a little bit on your guys' app, which is really awesome. But this was the first time doing a more extended experience. Yeah, I loved it. Fantastic.
Well, whenever I usually start the large events we do with Soma Breath, I always ask the question like, who's here is new or who here is a Somi? And a somi is basically someone who does somabreath. And now that you've completed your first live event, whenever we ask that question, you are now a somi.
So welcome. Thank you. Thank you. That's awesome. I really enjoyed it. Thank you, Rain.
For everybody else, I'm seeing some comments into the chat. So we got Mimi here saying like, I'm a new instructor and I've done many different types of breath patterns and I'm about to go to sleep, but honestly, I'm relaxed and ready to sleep. Thank you, Mimi. Fantastic. This is just a place where you can release whatever final energies of the day in a fun way, breathing in patterns and being able to— God, when you do those breath retentions, I've told you, it releases all those, you know, like neurotransmitters, all that good stuff, a cocktail of amazing stuff. And we have a very fun quote we like to say here at Soma Breath, which is, the secret to having a better life is getting high, not on substances, but on life itself. And with the power of the breath, you get to achieve these highs in a beautiful way. So at this point, I do want to say a couple things. Number one, if you've enjoyed this, this is the Becoming Limitless track. It's one of the new tracks that's been released on the app. So if you're already a MAP app member, you can do this one at any time. It is available for our members on the app. If you're not yet a member, know that for $87 a year you unlock every track and new tracks that come out monthly, and you can continue to build this practice with Soma Breath. And we have more live events that are available for free on— or are available for our members. And if you are somebody who's using just the free app, have no worries. The Breathe Together Sundays are always free, and this is a weekly touch point for you to connect with the community and get to join us for some beautiful breathing. You've heard from Mimi being currently an instructor, and what I'd love to do is for— by the way, is there anybody here who's maybe on a path of considering becoming an instructor, uh, has thought about any kind of enhancement to their current holistic practice, or perhaps you're having a bit of a career crisis and exploring the possibility that maybe This growing market, 30% year-on-year market of breathwork instructors is growing. People are curious about it. If you're on this session today, you're one of the curious souls that have heard of breathwork and now you've had a chance to experience it. I usually end these sessions with sharing more about what does it look like if you are on a path that wants to become an instructor, and I will do that in conclusion for today. Now, for those who have had their breath session, you've gotten what you were looking for, I'm extremely grateful you've taken the time to spend with us. This will be the end of our Breathe Together Sunday. And again, this is one of our new sessions that we do at a different time. Our big Breathe Together Sundays at our regular time happens in about 12 hours from now. So if you didn't get enough and you want some more in the morning, if you're tuning in on the evening right now, the big Breathe Together with hundreds of people on the call does happen in about 12 hours. And for everybody else, if you're on the app, build that daily practice, stay connected with Soma Breath, follow us on the social. We're out here reaching the world, trying to see how we can help make it a better place. One breath at a time. I know it's cliché, but we gotta use it, guys. Um, and so for those of you like Melissa, stick around. I'll share a little bit more about what does it mean to become an instructor. And for anybody else who is curious about the instructor program, I'll just spend the rest of the extra minutes here to share it with anyone who is curious. For the rest of you, I will wish you a great evening, a great day. And if you're not already on the app, we've posted that into the chat a few times. So grab a copy of the app, download that on your device. You can even do it on your MacBook. If you're on a desktop. There is an app to download from the store there as well. And we hope to see you on some future Breathe Together sessions. Thank you so much. And at this point, I'll stay for anybody who's curious about our instructor programs, and I'll read more about a few of the things you could expect if you do decide to come on this journey with us. And so I'll take a moment to share my screen, and you should be able to see what I see. And I built this little page for all of you to share some of the details of of what does it entail to become a Soma Breath instructor. So look, for the majority of people who do come to us and are curious about becoming instructors, there's a few commonalities I've noticed from people who really join our programs and are successful with it. We've noticed a lot of people who have been working in a corporate environment who have decided, you know what, I'm seeing there's maybe changes in the industry. I'm seeing that there's a lot of shifts happening in the world with the way they're using technology. I don't know if my role is becoming redundant, but regardless, I almost feel like, I've been looking for a way out, and I've been looking to do something that's much more aligned with my purpose and the vision of what I want to create for myself. If that is you, we want to invite you to consider what it would look like if you join into a career of becoming a Soma Breath instructor. The other very common story I hear from people I speak to who become instructors is you have an existing holistic practice. Perhaps you're a coach, a yoga teacher, perhaps you've worked in a practice where you're doing a lot of somatic practices and you've known breathwork to be a powerful tool and you're trying to make sure that you add this into your tool belt and you do it from a reputable company that has methodology that trains you behind the science and ensures that you have the right way of guiding people through these powerful journeys. For any of these two cases, these are really a lot of what happens when you decide to come down the path of becoming an instructor. And I'm going to share a link to this page as well as some more instructions that, um, can walk you through what it looks like to become an instructor. But in essence, there are 3 major paths for you to consider. We have our foundational instructor, our advanced instructor, and transformational coach. And one of them is a 45-hour training. One of them is about 95 hours, and the final one is 130 hours of training. The big difference between the 3 major tiers, if you decide to go down this path, is on the foundational instructor side, we teach you every way about changing states of the body with some very simple and powerful breathwork sessions such as the one we experienced today would be the type of sessions you would guide people through as a foundational instructor. If you're trying to get going, maybe work within yoga studios, work within gyms, get people to experience an energizing breathwork routine, the foundational instructor is what we bring you to. And we share exactly all these techniques. And a lot of what happens in foundational instructor is teaching you the science of breathwork, as well as teaching you the skills to use your own voice to guide breathwork sessions so that when you graduate from this program, you feel very comfortable playing a track that we provide you, a Soma Breath, with none of the guidance like you've heard Niraj Naik guide it today, but you would learn how to facilitate using your own voice. It's a very powerful methodology, and you get to be very comfortable using it when you go through the foundational instructor layer. We also have the advanced instructor, which is really taking you people through deep breathwork ceremonies. So if you're planning to do things that are very much related towards deep healing, trauma release, using what we call the Kavala technique that really takes the neurosomatic programming, the language you use to get people to go on deep journeys that really have stuff come up. You go through an advanced instructor training so that you are trauma-informed and you know not only how to get people to open up through a breathwork session, but really how to bring them back into a grounded state and a better state when you complete the breathwork. There's a lot of people who feel it might be even easy getting people to go and have a breakthrough through breathwork, but that's the easy part. What we want to equip you through when you become an advanced instructor is that you're doing it in a safe way and you're doing it in a way that everybody who goes through, no matter how deep it is that they go through a healing, a trauma, something comes up, that you are equipped to handle what comes up for people. Really, really important when we start unlocking some of the deeper tracks and the more healing tracks that happen with Soma Breath. And as far as transformational coach, this is for people who are doing a career change completely, building a holistic practice, and you want tools that go beyond the breathwork. Transformational coaches as part of Soma Breath ecosystem learn how to use the body, the breath, and a lot of the life coaching skills that you would need to truly support someone in a one-to-one basis. Taking them on deep personal journeys and supporting them through their life transformation. Depending on where you find yourself, there is a path that is available for you. And we have an entire syllabus that walks you through all the different journeys that you can go through depending on the tier you go to. From there, we do have a lot of live trainings. I always like to highlight myself being in Bali. We do have a Bali event happening in November. So anybody who's looking to do an in-person training, we have some of those that are happening. The retreat in Bali is a very experiential retreat. Street. But if you're looking for just getting certified, maybe closer to your area, we have Barcelona, London, and very soon we're about to announce Austin, Texas is also going to be a live training. Those are 2-day trainings, and forever, for anybody who's going into those, it's usually a $1,000 add-on for existing instructors or a $2,500 investment if you want to get your certification and do the live event at the same time. These are the different price points that exist. So if you're going foundational, you're talking about $1,099. Advanced instructor is $4,499, and a transformational coach $64.99. And so while you go through this, oftentimes we run through an exercise for those who are like, hey, what kind of business could I create here? Is there a way of generating income if I go down this path? And I'll put together what I see most of our instructors do when they get started in this practice, and they're looking to see, well, what does this look like if I want to be successful? Say you're looking to host one session a week. We teach you how to partner with studios with gyms so you can have a regular practice that happens in that place. And say you're able to get 10 to 12 people into a class, and say you're charging at the beginning a very modest price to get as much people into the room as possible of just $10. A lot of our practitioners go all the way to $50 per session, but let's say we're just getting started and you're asking people to pay $10 to come to one session every week. We're already looking at something that generates $6,200. And out of those 12 people that come, for those particularly on a transformational coaching layer, oftentimes some of these people will want to do one-on-one sessions to go deeper and you'll be fully equipped to help them make life transformations. Say that you're getting 2 clients every month and you package your sessions, a very common tier will be selling 4 packages, 4 sessions of breathwork and you're charging, let's say $100 per session. So you have a $395 offer, 4 sessions, And just for perspective, if you're completely new to this, I've personally hired a breath coach about 5 years ago after going through a major breakup, and I wanted to use breathwork as a way to help me heal and get back on my feet. And I paid $700 for 4 sessions with a breathwork instructor. Very typical price point for somebody to pay. And here I'm looking at the most conservative numbers to help you if you're looking to make a decision on if this makes sense. So I'd say a conservative number here, if you're working with a few clients, we're talking about maybe working with 100 clients in a year, making $10,000 or $9,100 in the year. But where I see my transformational coaches make the most difference is they often find themselves wanting to run one major retreat, perhaps bringing 10 people together, but looking at maybe a $1,500 retreat, which is like spending 3 days with a group, 10 of them, to do a full retreat to make $15,000. Those would be the kinds of activities you would expect to be making if you decide to go down a breathwork instructor path. So whether you decide to become a foundational instructor, advanced instructor, or transformational coach, this calculator gives you an idea of what it could look like on the first year that you decide to go out and do this. What I would suggest is if you're doing this more regularly, our coaches start doing multiple retreats a year. they usually have more people join them. The number of clients that they get per month will usually go maybe up to 3, but they'll be starting to sell bigger packages at a higher price point so that they can manage their own time. Because at some point you can only take so many one-on-one sessions. Their classes start to fill up and then they start realizing maybe I can charge more for this, perhaps $30. And now we start looking at something that's more of a 6-figure business. So if you're looking at this as a long-term investment, as something you want to do as a career shift, shift. There's so much potential. If you go to Google and you search what's happening with breathwork as a search term, as a keyword, it is growing massively. If you've found yourself teaching meditation, maybe 10 years ago, 20 years ago, people were like, meditation, isn't that what monks do in the mountains? And now everybody understands the benefits of meditation. Breathwork, the new frontier. And so if you want to be on this journey, if you want to join we're going to put a link so you can follow the steps to see if you want to join our community. The process is extremely simple. You fill in an application which has one of the most important questions we want to ask if you're thinking about going on this path. Why? Why is it interesting for you to make this shift? We want to understand who you are and what you're trying to achieve so we can welcome you into this facility, this community, if it is a match. See, the key thing we want to make is successful instructors. We're in the business of making our instructors successful. And so we have to understand your why, and we want to get on a conversation with you to see what are your current plans, and does becoming a breathwork instructor with Soma Breath align with the vision you've created? If it does, we're going to help you create the best plan, understand which of these choices makes the best decision for what you're trying to achieve, and then we can also work on any of the flexible financing that is available if that is something that you're curious to do. And so, Melissa, we are very curious to speak with you. And so you've seen Monica post up the link, fill the application. It takes about 2 minutes and book your call with one of our team members. And perhaps it'll be even a call with me. Um, so I usually have conversations on Monday evening, but we'd look forward to speak with you. We want to understand your goals, your vision, and if there is a fit, we'll guide you towards this path. And I believe that would be a general overview of what this whole instructor training is about. I did promise we'd finish within the hour, and honestly, this is one of the shorter Breathe Together Sundays session, but I love this track so much. Even if it's 16 minutes, I think it's just a powerful punch for anybody who's looking to release that energy or get charged up for the day. With that, my name is Jason Mark Campbell. I am a breath facilitator, and it was my pleasure to be able to host a Breathe Together Sunday for all of you today. If you're coming on the journey of becoming an instructor, our instructions have been sent to you and we wish for you to book a call right now. And for those who are just here to experience the power of the breath and you decided, oh, he's going to talk about it and I'll hang out, well, we just want you to go out there and breathe, be more peaceful, be more kind, and make a positive ripple in the world. You can download the app if you want to stay for free. There's tons of stuff that's there, and the replay for this session and more are all going to be there. And I will say, I am complete. Thank you so much for joining me, and it was my absolute pleasure. Much love and peace. Take care.
