Breathe Together Sunday - Jason Mc Campbell - April 26, 2026 - 11AM Central Indonesian Time

Jason R. Campbell and Sarah Lisbach lead a live Soma Breath session with three-phase breathwork: rhythmic 4-beat cycles, breath retention, and visualization of energy rising from the pelvic floor to the heart and third eye. The practice emphasizes safety contraindications like heart conditions and pregnancy, and encourages participants to visualize gratitude and an inner flame.

All right, Monica, you can, uh, let them into the room and I'll start in 2 minutes. Big welcome everyone to our Breathe Together Sunday. This is our Asia time zone morning edition. My name is Jason R. Campbell. I will be your facilitator for today, creating this container for us to come together and breathe together. And this is actually one of our more hidden events. It's something we're introduced it in shadow so that for those of you who are in the Asia time zone or perhaps prefer doing a Saturday evening session, which might make you wonder, why is it Breathe Together Sunday if it's Saturday evening? Well, this is because it's a time zone we've made available for those in Asia and Oceania. So for us, it is early in the morning, 11 AM Sunday morning. So it is our Breathe Together. And so if you're joining in here, I would love to know where you're tuning in from. And this would be a great exercise for you to use the chat if we want to create some interaction, make sure that we are coming together and getting a chance to breathe together too. So I'm tuning in from Bali, Indonesia. And for wherever you are tuning in, Welcome. And if you are a first-timer coming into these Breathe Together Sundays, what we're going to be doing today is we're going to be going through a track, and the specific theme for today is remembering who you are— that divine, amazing, manifesting, abundant, powerful person that you are. We're going to get back in touch with that piece of you. So if you are going through some harder times, some confusion, some lack of clarity, some self-doubt, this is going to be a breathing exercise that gets us truly reconnected, re-energized, and feeling wonderful in the process. For those of you who are going to be doing this in the morning, you're going to be having a great day ahead. And for those who are doing this in the evening, well, you're gonna have a great night's sleep, and I promise that tomorrow will be an amazing day for you. I see some people are coming in mostly from the Americas here. We got Austin, Houston, Western, uh, Washington State. And so for all of you doing a Saturday night session, well, we're going to spend some good time together. And here's some parameters you should be aware of. First off, we do have some people tuning in from YouTube, giving a shout out to all of you. We're here on Zoom for extra interaction tractability. But don't worry if you're feeling shy and you prefer to just tune in from YouTube, that's perfectly fine too. And for everybody that is here wondering, is there going to be a replay? It will be available instantly as a live stream is happening on YouTube. The session itself is going to be around 35 minutes, and what I'll do is just spend a few minutes at the beginning here just to explain the core methodology of what usually happens within a Soma Breath session. There's 3 major, um, phases, and I'll explain to you briefly what that is. A few counter-indications to make sure that everybody's doing and practicing it safely. And we will be completed by the hour. Know that you can turn on your camera, and if you do, I get to say hi. So Ingrid and Tiffany, I see you doing a little wave out at you guys. Good stuff. I know Tiffany is one of our new instructors. I want to give a big shout out to you and hope that you are filling up some classes and you're going out there spreading the word for Soma Breath. Because two big things we do here at Soma Breath is number one, we create these events sometimes, and very often free events for people to come together and experience the power of the breath. and we also certify people that are going into a space where perhaps they're changing career paths or enhancing their holistic practice using breathwork. So we can teach you how to do it with excellence, with the right tools and support, in a cool community in the process. For anybody who has some interest in doing that, we'll talk about it towards the end. But for now, we're going to focus on breathing and make sure we're all doing it together. Now, quick question: who here already has the Soma Breath app. So tell me if you do in the chat if you already have the app. If not, I'm going to guide you towards just showing you a couple things that are happening because we are doing an app feature for today. This is one of the latest tracks that just released called Remember Who You Are. And if you are on the track, I do want to show you something here on the app. So forever, whenever you are here and wondering what's going on, key things you should be paying attention to. Number 1 is you have so many breath journeys that you can go through that are all listed here. If you hit on See All, you'll see even more selection available. And if you enjoy the live events, you can see today we had the session with myself. We do have Awakening the Microcosmic Orbit with Kyle, which is one of our main producers. So our large Breathe Together Sunday is happening— well, for me it would be midnight, so for those of you who are in America, this will be your Sunday morning. That is the official Breathe Together Sunday. So know that we are trying to bring a little more inclusiveness by doing this twice a week, but there are many more sessions that happen regularly. Some of them are for our premium members, and when you do upgrade, it is usually under— it is $87 a year. To get access to all the tracks, all the lives, and so much more. And again, if you click on the See All for the live experiences, know that we have the sessions that are upcoming, ongoing. This is the session that you're on now and the replays of all our past Breathe Togethers you can actually access here, as well as all the other major events that we do. And so that is all part of the ecosystem. That being said, for those who are looking to find local classes in your area, if you click here, it will take you to a space to discover where our instructors are hosting local classes. and we hope that you guys get to continue breathing by joining into the sessions. As I was mentioning, this is one of our latest releases. It's called Remember Who You Are, and we're gonna be playing a track from here. So what I'm gonna encourage everybody here is to get ready for the breathing session. We're gonna start in about 5 minutes here. So here's a bit of an indication that you guys should be checking out. Ooh, Ingrid, Sarah, I see you guys already have the app. I hope you guys are enjoying it. For those who are on the inside, know that we are about to launch a major update to the app, which is going to take it to the next level. But that doesn't mean that the current app isn't anything to speak about. It is currently awesome. We just like things better and better. Innovation is actually one of the core values at Somobreathe. So we're always trying to find new ways to serve people and to be able to reach more in the process. So we're gonna be breathing in about 5 minutes. What I suggest is if you do have headphones, okay, if you do have headphones, it does enhance the experience. It does make it really cool because there's binaural beats that do come through. So if you do have the headphones, we encourage you to put them on. This is going to enhance the experience. If you don't, that's totally fine. You can use your regular speakers, that'll work fine. I often use it just on my computer speakers. I also have a sound system in the living room, and that's obviously one of the cooler experiences if you really want to feel the amazing music. Which, by the way, for everyone who's done somabreath journeys before, how good is the music when you get to do these journeys? Just makes the whole thing more fun. And it doesn't mean that when you're going through a healing process, you can't have fun doing it. So we're all going to get a chance to do that with great music. So we will have that playing. So having headphones, a plus. Just make sure it's loud enough for you to hear all of the counts. You're going to hear the counting, you're going to hear the breathing, and you're going to be guided as well by Sarah Lisbach, who's one of our instructors who has created this unique journey for you today. That being said, you could do two ways. One is you can sit down with your meditation style, whether that's sit with your back upright, or you can lay down fully if you want to have a lay-down experience. If you have some comfy pillows like Tiffany does with her partner or some friends. I think we got a whole family going on together there. You can lay down and that is totally fine. You'll be closing your eyes through the process and you're going to be following the indication, so just make sure you can hear properly. A somabreath journey usually has 3 major components. First is you're going to be breathing in beats. When you do that, you're going to be hearing the music, you're going to be hearing a count, and it's going to be a smooth rhythmical breathing with no pauses. So you're usually inhaling through the nose. So every inhale through the nose, give that a try right now. And you're going to be exhaling through the mouth, and you're going to continuously do this through the beat. So as you continue through the journey, you'll be guided to do this rhythmically for periods of time, a few minutes, and you're going to start to feel yourself getting into the rhythm. And at some point, you're going to hear the indication of taking a deep breath and exhaling fully. So you'll be taking one deep one And then exhaling fully, and you're gonna hold. This will be your first breath retention with an empty lung. And when you do that, you're gonna try to hold this for as long as possible based on the guidance you're gonna get from the track. That being said, if at any point you're feeling like you can't hold any longer, you can always take a little sip through the nose and out through the mouth to extend the retention. If especially this is one of your first times, you wanna push past your comfort zone, but you don't wanna get to a point that it's too much, right? So if you feel that, urge to breathe a little before the cue, just go, and you'll see you'll get to extend the session a little more. That being said as well, if any of you are under any kind of medical supervision, heart conditions, uh, if anybody's pregnant, um, if you have any kind of epileptic type of condition, please do consult with your medical professional before doing this. And if any of this sounds like it could be— you could be an aggro risk person, know that you can perfectly breathe in beats with any of the retention. Just skip that and keep breathing in beats, breathing in rhythm. That's totally fine. There's a lot of people that do do the breathwork sessions as they're trying to get through a healing journey, but we want to make sure that it's a safe, comfortable environment. So if you're feeling unsure, do consult, whether you're hiring a private somabreath coach, consulting with your medical professional. Just trust your body. That's always the number one thing. So your breath retention is going to be on the exhale, and at the end of it, you're going to hear a prompt that's going to encourage you to inhale fully. And that is the third phase where you're going to have your lungs filled with air, and you're going to hold that breath, and you're going to actually squeeze the sphincter, sphincter muscle. So like, imagine you had to go pee and you have to like hold it in. That's gonna be what you're doing as you're shooting the energy up into your midbrain. And you're gonna feel this cocktail of amazing, beautiful emotions that are coming through. Holding the breath for not as long as the full exhale one, but just for a short time. And typically we exhale with an um, ah. And if you didn't listen to anything I just said, you're gonna see you're guided through the entire journey and reminded of all these steps, but repetition is the key. and getting started is going to start very soon. I believe we are ready to get the journey started, and I want to do a check-in. Sounds like everybody's in their right places. So the journey itself is going to be just under 35 minutes. We're going to do a few cycles here. Sarah is going to be guiding you. She's one of our breathwork instructors, a fantastic track. Again, the whole theme is around remember who you are, and so we're going to go and reach for your greatness and make it a beautiful journey in the process. With that being said, let us get started for our Sunday Breathe Together session. Let us begin.
Let's find a way down lying on your back where it feels like nothing is in the way, where you can be free and comfortable in your body. Good. And as you lie here, allow your face to soften. Soften into your jaws, the root of your tongue And let your eyes rest softly in their eye sockets. Can you let that softness to your face inspire the rest of the body to melt, to melt off all edges? Like a wave of relaxation sweeping over you.
Mm.
As you maintain that softness, bring your awareness to your breath as you gently breathe in. And out. Notice the belly and chest rising and falling naturally. We are always breathing. It's one of those things that is given to us as a gift. And it's a tool that we can use to connect with a deeper part of ourselves, to the flame of who you are, the light, the peace that never goes away. But there are times in our lives where Our thoughts are like a cloud that covers it up, and it might shield our eyes from being able to see, being able to feel, to hear that flame, that flame that is you. But today, can you allow yourself to see it? To see you. Now bring your left hand on top of your heart, the right hand on top of your left hand, and draw your awareness to your heart. With every deep inhale through your nose, let your heart space expand forward, back, and to the sides. And with every slow exhale through your mouth, let this area melt back to your center. Deep breath in to expand, and long breath out to melt. Deep breath in Long breath out. Maintain that connection with your heart as you gently release your arms back down by your sides again and return to your natural rhythm of breath. An innate quality of your heart is gratitude. And by embodying a feeling of gratitude into all cells of your body, you naturally connect with a deeper, more authentic part of yourself. So in this moment, can you bring your awareness to one thing that you are really grateful for? Small or big, just what pops up in your mind. Maybe a person, a place, experience, or something totally different. You can even imagine a movie playing in your mind, in your mind's eye, where you are the lead character doing or seeing what it is that makes you feel truly grateful and alive. How does it look? How does it feel? Maybe even taste or smell. Allow yourself to embody that feeling of deep, deep gratitude, whatever it means to you. Can you sense this gratitude deep inside your heart, like a golden and warm energy building up inside your heart with every breath you take? Glowing, warming your body from the insides. Like an internal flame in your heart. The flame that is you. And you'll notice that this inner flame is not the disturbed by anything else. The moves, the thoughts, the outside world. That flame is always there. That flame is the seed of you. And it's love. It's pure love. As you carry that gratitude with you, let's get ready to breathe in a rhythm. Breathe in beats, allowing my voice to be your guide on this journey. A journey into the light, the flame within. And when I say in, we're gonna breathe in through the nose, and when I say out, we're gonna breathe out through the mouth in a smooth, consistent rhythm, starting in a rhythm of 4 beats in and 4 beats out.
In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4.
Take a deep full inhale through your nose, abdomen and chest rising, and exhale, softening out through your mouth. In a smooth, consistent rhythm with no pause in between your inhales and exhales, like an ocean wave.
3, out, 2, 3, 4, in, 2, 3, 4.
And on the exhale, you could even make a little sound, a sigh of relief, or a wheezing sound like the ocean, out, 2, whatever feels best in your body.
In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4. Out. Now you can start contracting your pelv—
pelvic floor muscles, your mula bandha, to the top of every inhale and letting go when you exhale. In 2, 3, contract your pelvic floor. Out, release. In 2, 3, contract your pelvic floor. Out, release. In 2, 3, contract.
Out, release. In, 2, 3. Out, 2, 3, 4.
As you connect to the rhythm, imagine your mula bandha, your pelvic floor, just like a palm tree transmitting the energy higher and higher, letting the energy rise from your pelvic floor into your belly, into your heart. And imagine your heart is hardening harnessing all this energy into a giant flame of light, connecting you to the light within, into the flame of who you truly are.
Out, 2, 3, 4.
In, the flame, the peace that never goes away.
Out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. In 2, 3, 4. Out 2, 3, 4.
And sometimes we need to let that flame light a fire to burn away that which is not serving you in the moment, that which is blocking your way.
Out 2, 3, 4.
To make way for new life, new beginnings.
Out 2, 3, 4.
It's the controlled, loving burn by your heart.
2, 3, 4. Out. 2, 3, 4. In. 2, 3, 4.
So with every exhale, allow yourself to let go of anything that doesn't serve you. In.
2.
To reclaim your energy, your power.
2.
Your freedom to live that life that you want.
3.
To be you with everything that you are.
In 2, 3, 4. Out 2, 3, 4. Breathing in 2, 3, 4. And letting go 1, 2, 3, 4. In 2, 3, 4. Out 2, 3, 4. In 2, 3, 4. Out 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4.
Now getting ready to take a full breath in. Now breathe fully in, hold for a second and pull up your pelvic floor muscles, and then release all muscles again and breathe fully out, slowly, gently, and hold. Hold your breath on the bottom. Relax every single muscle in your body, your face, your jaws, going into a state of deep, deep relaxation and inner peace. And if you get an urge to breathe, see if you can push it a little bit beyond your comfort zone, knowing that this is a safe space to explore, that you are protected. And then once you have gone past your limit, take a little breath in and exhale fully, holding your breath again. Relax every single muscle. Who are you behind what you think you are? You are love. You are heart. You are soul. And when you get that next sensation to breathe, explore your edge one more time. And then take a full deep inhale. Hold your breath on the top and squeeze your pelvic floor muscles, shooting up this energy up and up along your spine as you hold your breath fully Draw your awareness to your third eye in between your eyebrows and imagine sending beams of light from your roots along your spine all the way through your third eye, connecting you with your higher potential, your dormant powers. And whenever you need, you can release with a sigh of relief and return to your natural rhythm of breath. Hmm, just letting go. Niraj Naik. Let's get ready to breathe in a rhythm again, this time with a rhythm of a 2 to the 2 beats.
Exhale.
In 2, out 2. In 2, out 2. In 2, out 2. And good, continue breathing like this. Remember to make your breath smooth and with no pause in between your inhale and the exhale, like an ocean wave. In, out, in, out. And if it feels good in your body, you can contract your pelvic floor muscles on the top of every inhale and let go on the exhale. In, contract, out, release. In, contract, Out, please.
2, in, 2, out, 2, in, 2, out, 2.
But if this contraction feels too tense and stressful in your body, you can keep your muscles completely relaxed. Only you know what feels best in your body.
Out, 2, in, 2, out, 2, in, 2. 2, out. 2, in. 2, out. 2, in.
And as you breathe smoothly in a rhythm, can you feel into that moment, that vision where you experience the greatest gratitude? Can you embody that feeling of absolute gratitude into every cell of your body?
2, in.
2, out.
2, in. 2, out. 2, in. In, two, out, two. In, two, out, two.
And feeling this energy starts to build up inside with every breath you take.
Out, two.
Feeling the expansion throughout your body as you wake up all your blood vessels. Feeling a warm tingling sensation growing inside your body.
2, out, 2, in, 2, out, 2, in, 2, out, 2.
And can you open your heart, open your mind, and connect to the truth that you already have everything you need to feel infinite love, vitality, passion, and joy? You already have everything everything you need. Good. Keep breathing, keep connecting and breathing into that light that heals, that never goes away. Expanding your body, expanding your heart. Feeling the bliss, feeling the energy rising.
In, two, out, two. In, two, out, two. In, two, out, two. In, two, out, two.
Now getting ready to to take a full breath in. Now breathe fully in. Hold for a second and pull up your pelvic floor muscles. And then release all muscles again and breathe out slowly, gently, without any strain. And hold your breath. Going back into that moment of absolute stillness and inner peace as you connect with your soul, as you float on the clouds, drifting into space. And if you get an urge to breathe, see if you can go a little bit beyond your comfort zone. It's a metaphor for life. As you go beyond your comfort zone, this is when the growth and strength happens. Once you've gone past your limit, you can take a little sip in and breathe fully out, gently, and holding your breath again. Can you open your heart and let the love pour in as you connect with your soul, with who you truly are— whole, perfect, strong, harmonious. Harmonious and happy. Whole, perfect, strong, harmonious and happy. When you get that next sensation to breathe, explore your edge one more time, then take it Deep full inhale. And then hold your breath on the top. Contract your pelvic floor muscles and draw your attention to your third eye. Imagine sending this white light up into your midbrain, illuminating your forehead with this divine white light, expanding you. Illuminating your higher potential. Whenever you need, you can release, hmm, and return to your natural rhythm breath again, caring for the sensations and feelings arising in your body. And know that whatever is unfolding within you in this moment, that is absolutely how it's supposed to be.
There is nothing right or wrong.
Whatever ideas, visions, moments of clarity that you might receive with this experience, pay attention. Because it is important. Now it's time to let go completely of any tension left in your body. If you're not lying down by now Now I invite you to find your way down on your back for our final relaxation pose, and you can take up as much space as you need. And your palms face the sky. As you're lying here breathing, feel the weight, the release of your entire body, your legs, arms, arms, shoulders, the weight of your head towards the ground and the release of every tiny muscle of your face, your jaws. Is there any tension left that you can release in this moment?
Good.
Sometimes our way is lost. Sometimes the turbulence of life is like a cloud that shields our eyes from being able to see, to feel that inner flame, your heart, your soul. To see you. So have compassion for yourself and for others when the way is lost. Sometimes it's meant to be lost so that you can be found. So that you can choose a way. That choice is your right. And that choice is you. It's you.
Love is pure love.
So know that you are wonderful, you are perfect just the way you You are, and your uniqueness is needed in this world with all of you. What would you love to do? Where do you thrive? What do you want to give to others in this life? As you share the gift of you with the world, so do you strengthen it inside. You can stay here as long as you need to come back to your senses.
Slowly come back as we'll bring everyone back into the room. And as we gather back As the meditation breathwork has been completed, we'll get a chance to close this off properly, maybe gather a few feedbacks for anybody who's enjoyed the session. Tiffany, I think I might be calling on you. Since I know you've had a chance to experience this with the whole family. I'm gonna hit the unmute, and I would love to hear how this journey was for you.
Okay, hi, um, these are my cousins. We're— hey, I'm in Austin, Texas, um, because I joined, uh, Mimi and Dustin's breath rave. It was my first breath rave, super cool. And so yeah, I told them I wanted to join my this class, and I said, y'all want to check it out? And so what do you think, Jude?
I like it.
Hey, it's really good.
Amazing.
Yes, good first class.
All right, well, do you know the logo, like our tagline, Tiff? Do you know what Summer Breath's tagline is?
I love my life.
Well, that's one of the things we love to say. Um, the other one is we can get high on our breath.
Yeah.
And so honestly, it's a beautiful state to be in, to be in an elevated state. Um, and, and guys, just breathing, like, look, we feel great. You guys are gonna sleep like babies, I swear. You're not too old though, so you're gonna sleep normally. Very cool. No, honestly, this was a beautiful journey. Uh, 30 minutes is not too long, it's just at the right spot. And Sarah does a fantastic job leading, so I'm glad you guys enjoyed that.
Thank y'all so much. It was great.
Awesome. Let's see if there's anybody else. I see Ingrid, your camera's on. I want to hear maybe some feedback from you if anything came up for you in this session. Was this your first one? I was going to bring you up.
No, this wasn't my— can you hear me?
Yes, I can.
Yeah.
Okay.
No, this was my first one. Actually, I'm surprised this is actually Saturday for me.
I know.
I know. So it's 8 o'clock. No, it's no later. 8:45 PM in Arizona. And, uh, so I'm gonna be on now and I'm gonna be on in the morning again.
Correct. So this is actually the Asia time zone one. So for me it's 11:46 AM on Sunday. So everyone in the Americas are getting the, getting the Saturday confusion.
We get a double dose though. I like it.
Not a bad thing. So had you done this journey before Yes, I've done it before.
Several Sundays, actually. Maybe this is my fourth, at least, at least my fourth. And, and now, I mean, I'm also doing the 21-day journey, which is very exciting. And so, and I'm just, I see you have this Soma Breath Up, but are you saying? Because I was actually wondering, where did I see this? I know I put it in my calendar, but then I couldn't find the link. And so finally, in my tabs and many, many, many tabs, I found it. And now I see that you have— it says here a new Soma Breath app. Is that a new one that I need to download?
Or you— there's a new, new one that's going to be coming in a few months from now. But you just want to make sure your app's at its latest version. When you are on the app, the live experiences are all listed here in their time, all the things that are included.
Oh, it's called live because I went to events and that's not right. So it's a live one. Okay, I got it.
So if you go to events, I think it lists our live events. Yeah. So we have our, our London event coming up.
That's in 3 weeks.
Correct. Correct. So, yeah, you can find a lot of information on the app, but the live experiences, this is where you'd find the recording.
It's down there. Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah, well, good to see you again. I think I remember you from the event we did. You did win a prize, didn't you?
That's right, I did, I did. Thank you so much. It was— it's so wonderful. I'm totally into it, and, uh, I, I can't— I can't wait to see all the changes that are going to happen. So thank you, thank you so much.
Glad to have you on board, and keep joining these sessions. And for everybody else, whether this was your first time or 100th time, we're glad you took the time to come breathe with us. Key thing we want to make sure is if you've enjoyed this journey, we have the Soma Breath app. There's a free app that you can join these Breathe Together Sunday, and a few breath journeys are made available. And if you upgrade to become a premium member on the app, it's $87 a year and you unlock all of the journeys, lots of live experiences that happen throughout the week. And so we'll put a link there into the, um, into the chat. So if you don't currently have the app, it's a great place to get started. For those who want to go a little deeper into the journey. We have a lot of our instructors who are running local breathwork sessions, Tiffany being one of them, and a lot of others that are joining on these sessions not only get to practice breathwork but get to share it with people around them. Whether that's part of a career change or enhancing your holistic practice, we're always looking for having more instructors join us to— so we can be on a mission to get people to heal, breathe, and make the world a better place in the process. So thank you so much for joining. We hope that now— drink some water, Go into the world. You've taken the time to breathe. You're going to see how everything's a little different, a little more joy. And in the process, you've now remembered who you are. And so go out there in the extraordinary version of yourself that you are and enjoy the rest of the weekend. My name is Jason Mark Campbell. I'm a Summer Breath facilitator. It was my pleasure to be your guide for the Breathe Together Sunday. We'll just make sure we have some links that go out for people who want to download the app. And if anybody's interested in becoming an instructor, You can actually apply to become an instructor. We'll put up a link for that as well. And for that, there's processes for us to understand your application, see what's your goals. If your goals align with becoming a breathwork instructor, we'll show you which paths are available to you. And we hope to welcome you into the community so we can heal the world one breath at a time. Much love, everyone. Take care, have a great weekend, and we will see you next time.
