It's.
Ah. Welcome, welcome, everyone. Welcome to this Sunday Breathe Together session with Soma Breath. Welcome, welcome. It is an absolute pleasure for you and us to be together on this special day, the 4th of May, as we have something very unique planned for you. But of course, before we even start, before we introduce today's session and before I bring Nigel to all of us, to guide us through this session, I want us all just for a moment, to check in with ourselves. Just check in. So I want you just to find yourself. Maybe you're in a chaotic state. Maybe you were rushing, running from one point to the next point. Maybe it's morning, afternoon, evening, and maybe it is time for all of us to just slow down, stop and be truly present today with us. Can I ask you all to just take this moment with me, with Nigel, with the Soma Brit family, with all of the community as more and more and more people are joining and I am admitting more, more people to the Sunday Breathe Together session. If you're on YouTube, please join the Zoom session so that you can really feel the chat be connected to all the participants. So for a moment, bring your shoulders up, bring your shoulders down. Bring your shoulders up, bring your shoulders down.
And now connect to your breath.
Observe. Is there chaos in your breath? Or is there a peaceful pace of in breaths and out breaths without judging? Just observe.
If you can feel free to close your eyes and go deep within to that pure observation of the breath.
This is your space. This is your Sunday Breathe Together session. We are here for you, with you.
But it is time for us all to really connect to ourselves, to the breath, to the community.
Let's take a breath in through the nose, allowing the belly to expand.
And out softly through the mouth.
Breathing in through the nose. If the breath comes into the chest, bring it down to the belly.
And out. Longer and softer through the mouth.
One more cycle of breath. Breathe in.
And release. Let it out softer and longer, softer and longer.
Arriving to the space, arriving to this body, to this experience, to this journey. If you have closed your eyes, you can open your eyes right now and feel how present you are just by just simply observing and then modifying slightly the breath.
I see so many of you already have put in the chat where you're tuning in from, dialing in from. Please feel free to keep on bringing your locations into the chat so we know where you, our dearest members are tuning in from. We have Miami, you have Belgium, we have London, we have Portugal, we have United States. Norway is in the house. Happy Sunday to us. All, indeed. Yes. The 4th of May, we have Wisconsin. Beautiful. Hello, everyone. Quebec. I see so many of you returning back to us and so many of you as well that are brand new. So let me introduce myself. My name is Piotr Chipil, a SOMA Breath master transformational coach, a host for the Sunday Breathe Together sessions. Today, entire breathwork experience will be guided by the one and only, Amazing, incredible Nigel McCullen. And I will of course introduce his session and introduce Nigel, and he will explain to you how we're going to be beating. But you're in the right spot. If you're questioning, if you're wondering what's happening, what are we doing here? This is the right place for you to be and connect to your breath, to yourself and to the community. Because this is the power that we all have. We have more people from Holland, from Polska, Jindelvre. We have Norway. We got a big Norwegian community here. Oklahoma, Washington, United States is present. Spain. Buenas tardes. Espana, Comistas, United Kingdom, California, Netherlands. Hu in doc. Netherlands.
This just. Just making sure that you all know that I speak a few languages, you know, just making sure that you all know that I can interact in different languages. Okay, but. Okay, all jokes aside, the breadth and the power of community is something that I truly cherish. And coming together on Sundays for these Breathe Together sessions is a true experience, a gift that you give yourself because you're showing up for yourself through these sessions. You're showing up for yourself. And before I will introduce today's session, let me also introduce something very special, very unique, because this facilitator, this SOMA Brit master transformational coach, his name is Piotr. He will be guiding a webinar on Monday 5th May. Who is that? It is me. So today I'm your host, but tomorrow I will be the facilitator for a very unique and special edition that will be happening at 10:00am Eastern Time, which is 3:00pm United Kingdom, 4:00pm Central European Time. And let me just introduce just briefly what this session will be about tomorrow. It's going to be the ultimate mind, body, energy, connection. I am not only a SOMA Breath master transformational coach, but also a strength and fitness specialist. And I help people from all ages, all walks of life with all the excuses that I had as well in the past to reconnect with their body, with their strength and be fit at any age. Tomorrow's webinar is free, so you can join for free. You do have to register and I'm going to ask Monica to put in the link into the chat. Later on, we're going to repeat the links as well. But tomorrow, that webinar, the ultimate Mind, Body, energy connection, will be a taster. Now, if you're from Spain, it'll be a tapas. Okay, It'll be a tapas. It'll be just bits of strength, bits of mindset, bits of breadth, and bits of reconnection to the body. And it is available for everyone, every single person, no matter your gender, age, what you've been going through, your challenges. I will be listening to all of you. And I have prepared something very unique that will connect us to the strength, the body, the mindset, because it's all about shifting perceptions. And that's exactly what we're going to be doing tomorrow. I'm going to admit more people and I have just this short clip for you to watch. Be present with your breath. And let me just bring that clip on. It will be me. It's awkward to talk about myself in this moment right now. It is my own challenge, is my own webinar. And I'm hosting here for the Amazing Nigel. And I'm trying to come to my webinar tomorrow. Come to mine as well as well, of course. Don't leave this session right now. Okay, so here we go. This is. You should be seeing this. Okay. Can you all see this? Yes. Okay.

So there will be some movements, there'll be some mindset shifting, there'll be some questioning on the definitions of some labels. What is fitness? What is strength?
And all of you are welcome.

But it is something that I'm so proud of because it has helped so many of my clients to go through their beliefs and their mindset and how they feel right now at their age, where they are. And it's going to be about so much. So much. Okay, Right, how are we all feeling? Elizabeth, how are you feeling? Good. Fantastic. I'm watching. Who's watching as well. Nigel is feeling amazing. Suzanne, amazing. Tommy, your smile. Yes. Your two thumbs up. Amazing. Everyone, thank you so much for allowing me to show you this little video and for inviting you to the webinar that will be happening tomorrow. And now back to back to today's session, Sunday, Breathe together with Nigel McCulloch, Summer Breath Master transformational coach. He just came back from the London retreat, the level one SOMA breath retreat. 20 participants bonded and became SOMA breath facilitators through level one. And it's just so powerful to be at these retreats and so powerful as well to be connected to people like Nigel. And in today's session, it's going to be a very powerful journey because it's with Nigel and the team of today's session, the space they left, loss and the breath. Because loss comes in many forms. The departure of a loved one, children leaving home, the breaking apart of family. But also, I don't think we quite often notice how we can grief work or how we can grief our previous home, how we can grief so many other things, how many things can also be felt in the body and that is also loss. And in these moments, we're left with this kind of emptiness that is hard to name. So today in this powerful SOMA breathwork session, breath meditation with Nigel will be able to bring you into the safe container so that you can gently explore and breathe through the pain of separation.
Is that. Does that sound good, Nancy?
Yeah.
Thank you. Because true rhythm, guided intention and healing power of your own breath, you will be able to connect with that space. And of course, without further ado, I took so much time already. My brother, Nigel McCullen, Soma Breath Master Transformation coach, one of the main leaders of SOMA Breath is with us today. I will be.
Adding the spotlight now on you, my friends.
There you go.
Thank you, Piot. Amazing. And yeah, if you do get a chance to tune into Piot's webinar, absolutely take that opportunity. It'll be amazing. So, yeah, thanks to everyone for tuning in. Today's Breathe Together Sunday. And is the theme of it is the space they left. And if you've had personal experience with loss or even just with someone leaving you and not returning, or they are due to return, but not for many months. So for me, personal experiences as well has kind of led me to write this meditation for you and I hope you enjoy it. And I'm just going to take the second to go through the process of what we do in summer breath and how we actually do these sessions all together. So we're going to go straight into today. Sometimes I do a bit of shaking, a bit of movement, bit of dancing, but today we're just going to go straight into. So at that point when it comes to going for the session, just after my little introduction, get yourself that nice space, you know, get headphones on if you can, get yourself under a blanket, if it's a bit cold, support your knees, even a cushion underneath your head. But if you want to, you can sit up as well. It's absolutely ideal. If you can sit up, maybe even better. Got that energy flowing through the body. So how we do summer breath work in the summer breath way is we're going to do three rounds of breath work today and all those rounds are going to be four. Four. That's the means of the ratio of inhale and exhale. So what we always begin with is a little bit of an intention setting, which is going to spend about maybe 10 minutes just going through that, checking in with the body, checking in with the breath setting, the intention kind of delving into that intention, what that means for you and what it's going to see, what you're going to see in there, what it's going to sound like and Taste like and touch like, all those senses are going to be brought into that. So it allows you to come, get out of your head and in your heart and your body. So you're reconnecting with your body in that space. And then we're going to go into the actual rounds of breathwork. So if I break them down into three phases, we've got rhythmic breathing is the first phase. Now, this is the sumo breath way is in through your nose and then you breathe out through your mouth. And it's a kind of a circular or a cycle of breath. There is no beginning, there is no end or gaps or pauses between the breaths. It's really trying to make that breath as flowing freely as possible. And there's reasons why we do that. Mainly there is a bit of nitric oxide production in the nose and nasal cavity, which allows your blood vessels to dilate and relax and widen. And also breathing out through your mouth, you get a bit more control of how you breathe out the CO2, the gas out of the system. It's going to be a nice slow, kind of hypnotic. We're not going to get any faster breathing or any hard. The. The mouth breathing. It's going to be really quite chilled out and it will take you into a nice relaxing place. So we do that for about four to five minutes of rhythmic breathing and then I'm going to guide you. So please remember that with everything that we do here, it's all guided. So if you've already forgotten what I've just told you, don't worry, I'm going to guide you through every step of the way. So it's a full breath in at the end of that rhythmic breathing phase. And I may hold it there for a second or two and then we just let it go. We exhale and we breathe out through our mouth and we take the exhalation to that point where we can then hold our breath. So breathe out as much as you can to a comfortable spot. If you're quite new to breath work, don't really push that too much. Just take it to a sweet spot or a comfortable exhalation. And this is where we hold our breath. This is where we pause our breath so there's no more breath in, no more breath out. But at some point you might feel that you have an urge to breathe. And this is what we call the fear response is just gently, slightly building up inside and your brain is asking the question, why are you not breathing? I can't breathe. I'm not understanding this. If you're used to breathing quite a lot, like an over breathing kind of pattern. So at that point there maybe just delay that urge to breathe, maybe three or four seconds, five seconds, and then a slight inhale through your nose and then breathe out. And that's what we call the recovery breath or a saving sip of air. And all you're doing is just breathing in again and out and just taking it back into that pause again. So then we, we return back into that place of stillness and space and silence. You might take another of those recovery breaths. You can take as many as you want until I then pull you out of that for phase three, which is the in breath retention. So instead of holding your breath on an out breath this time we hold our breath on an inhale. So we take a full inhale this time we hold onto the breath and we and we squeeze. The only muscle you really want to squeeze is the pelvic floor muscles. Really let go of the rest of the muscles. You don't want to be in tension. For this section, this phase, pelvic floor muscles, the ones used to stop yourself from going to toilet or breaking wind, you can squeeze those up and imagine it's like an energy that kind of pulling up through your spine, it's circulating and it's going all the way up to that point between your eyes and to the third eye or the pineal gland. But just basically draw it up there and put your attention onto that spot as you're pulling that energy up. That is about a 30 second hold. And then we let it go. We then return back to normal breathing, come back to our breaths and then we repeat that process another twice, exactly the same rhythm again. It's in for four, out for four on a nice smooth circular rhythm again. But as I emphasized earlier on, if you can't retain that, just please relax and let me guide you through with the music and with the sound and with your breath. And it's all very smooth and easy to follow. There are some exceptions with doing breath work and they're what we call contraindications. So those are where any benefit is overweight or outweighed by any risk. So for every, every person can do rhythmic breathing. There's no contraindication of that. But if you're having the following conditions, I'm just going to read them straight from here so I don't miss any out. And they are severe or critical diseases or infections if it impairs your ability to breathe. Severe uncontrolled hypertension, usually after a heart attack, organ failure or late stage terminal illness pregnancy. If you have epilepsy, a pacemaker or a regular heartbeat, with of course an exception that your doctor might give you permission, then you should refrain or avoid doing the breath holds. Okay, so that's the exhale hold and the inhale hold as well. If you are not falling into any of those categories there, you're free to do everything on all the three phases. There are some conditions that might be aggravated by doing breath holds or forceful mouth breathing, which we're not doing today, or even prolonging your breath hold, and that is tinnitus or tinnitus hernias. If we know that we've got some of those conditions, then if you are sitting, you can drop your chin down to your chest and you can do that also with the out breath and the in breath if you wish, but also just being listening in to your body. If you feel too much pressure building up, then that's your cue to probably let go and return to normal breathing. Even if I haven't guided you into that. Okay, so that's us basically, as we go through that is the process we're following and I hope you enjoy it. And nothing else left to do other than to invite you to make yourselves comfortable. Get that space. And we shall begin in just a few minutes. I'm just going to do a quick sound check so, you know, check your volumes and then we can get going.
Okay, so you should hear the music just kicking in in a second and then that has us ready to go.
Okay, so there we are. So allow yourself just that moment to now.
Be present, lie down, sitting upright, wherever you prefer.
And just make yourself comfortable.
And we should all hear that music nicely building in the background.
So with that breath in through your nose, where you feel your belly gently expanding, you feel that rising up to your chest gently. And as you exhale, I'd allow you to or let you close your eyes, or invite you to close your eyes as you exhale.
And just welcoming in that feeling of letting go, of releasing into the surface beneath you.
As we take this moment now just to check in with our body.
And how your body feels today.
Can you unlock your hands as the grip is no longer needed here we don't need any of that tension. Are your shoulders rising up to your ears? Allow them just to sink down.
And then your eyes just gently, nicely softening.
Feeling so soft that you can't even open your eyelids, they're that heavy. With every breath out that you take from now on, just allow those feelings to become more Amplified and emphasized.
As you let go of more than just the breath.
We let go of any tension, any strain.
Any baggage taking that weight off your mind as we reconnect with our body.
Can you feel the weight of your arms.
Next to you if you're lying or even if you're seated.
You feel the weight of your spine, your pelvis.
Back of your head.
The leg, legs, thighs, the ankles, the heels?
If it helps to run that body scan down from your head to your toes and just run that scan down, scanning those areas.
And if we feel those areas of tension.
Allow your breath to become that little bit less aware of it.
We bring that calmness and stillness into our body.
Bring that calmness and stillness into our mind.
With a slow and gentle rhythm of breath, which is natural for you, which maybe wants to go that little bit faster, or it's happy to go that little bit slower.
Find that rhythm that suits you. Don't judge it. Simply allow the breath to flow in and out where you are the observer of that breath. Inhaling and exhaling.
And we can start to extend the exhalation.
If we had a flame in front of us, round about our lips when we breathed out.
Gently flicker that flame, not blow it out, just gently flicker the soft and subtle and silent breath that exits the body.
And how does that breath feel now?
We could enhance this process further by, at the end of your exhalation, just smiling.
Adding, bringing that little smile into your. Your mouth, holding that smile for a few seconds before you return back to the inhale.
Emphasizing that gentle inhale through the nose, gentle exhalation through pursed lips, like you're blowing through a straw or breathing onto a flame just in front of you, allowing that pause for you to smell smile on your face.
Nothing but you, your body and your breath.
Beautiful.
I'd like you to come aware now.
Of a moment in your life.
Where it was fulfilled.
It was rosy, it was sweet.
That can be any moment that you bring forward.
A moment in your youth.
Or possibly a more recent time.
With safety. And there is shelter.
These are precious moments.
And golden memories.
And there was no perception of.
Any vulnerability.
That life sometimes offers.
There was only happiness, only joy.
Only love.
There was no sadness, no experience of loss or pain or fear.
And bring forward this moment. Project forward into your mind's eye.
See it.
Hear it, feel it.
Taste it.
Smell it. Anything about that moment that makes you feel like you are already in that moment or back in that moment.
And make it bigger and make it brighter, stretch it out, expand with every detail, turn up the brightness, the contrast, the brilliance.
Amplify and emphasize everything about that moment. Moment.
And if you do feel it, then where do you feel it?
And if you can hear it, then what do you hear?
What can you see?
And what can you taste?
Can you smell?
Is there a color coming forward.
From this moment?
What emotions are coming forward for you?
Happiness and joy, gratitude and love.
Bring everything forward. Expand it, amplify it. Turn up the dial on those good feelings and good sensations and those positive emotions.
Don't just imagine it.
Step right back into that moment.
And if you can see the color, then immerse yourself in that color. Become engulfed with that color, entwined with it.
Almost like you are actually breathing in that color and it's circulating, breathing throughout the entire body.
So all the cells in your body are reminded of that emotion, that moment.
And as we get ready to breathe in a beat, to breathe in a rhythm together.
Carry forward those feelings with you.
Continue to breathe in your color, that brightness, that golden.
Getting ready to breathe in a beat together.
In for four and out for four. Here we go.
In.
And.
The breath is smooth on the inhale. And smooth. And on your exhale.
In.
Allow each breath to become the next one.
And it's really hard to detect.
That point where the inhale becomes the exhale and where the exhale becomes the inhale. In.
There is a natural rise and fall of your breath.
With each breath.
You feel the natural boundaries of your body begin to soften and to relax.
Out.
And see the color.
Feel the emotion.
In.
Any noises.
Any smells, any tastes that come forward.
And breathe in these feelings.
Memories and emotions. Out.
In.
Smooth and subtle.
And silent in nothing but you. And the breath.
In.
Breathing into the belly. In that space around about your. Your navel. Allowing to rise gently.
And then to sink back down as you exhale.
Feeling the journey of that breath as it enters through your nose and it exits through your mouth.
Notice the texture of your breath and.
And what that breath is doing for you. Allowing you in.
Allowing you the space to reconnect, to breathe.
In.
Out.
In.
Keep breathing. Keep connecting.
And come back to my voice.
The music and the beat. Your mind decides to wander.
Acknowledge the wandering. Accept the wandering.
And come back to your breath.
Out.
In.
And out.
In. Yes.
Breathe together. And.
In.
Out.
As we get near our first breath retention, breathe in your color. Let it circulate with every breath.
Let it circulate into every cell of your body. All the cell.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
Last few breaths. In and out. Keep breathing. Keep connecting.
In.
And.
Now Together, let's take that full breath in. Breathe in. Breathe in. Breathe in. All the way into your nose, expanding into the belly. Hold it just for a second.
And then exhale. Let it go. Breathe out.
Empty your lungs.
And hold your breath.
Finding that place to settle, not to be afraid.
To surrender to this and to trust this process.
And be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.
And if you feel that urge to breathe and override it by a few seconds. And when you can no longer hold your breath and a gentle, subtle inhale and breathe out.
Simply returning back into that place.
Where we press the pause button, we allow our body to soften even further. To feel the weight of our body.
No tension in any area of the body.
Sink into that.
This is the art of meditation.
Take as many of those recovery breaths as you need.
But go beyond. Step out with.
And trust.
Now together, let's get ready for the breath in. In 3, 2, 1. Take that full breath in. Now breathe all of way in.
And hold and connect with your pelvic floor muscles. The mulabanda. Squeeze that area. Everything remains relaxed. But you squeeze those muscles locking in and pulling up, sending the energy like a light up through the spine and into the midbrain.
Holding it there, holding and squeezing, directing. And then we let go together. Ah, let it go. Breathe out.
And simply let your breath return back to its normal natural rhythm.
Enjoying that moment.
Then we become aware of that moment in your life where the veil was lifted.
Life will never be the same again.
And a new feeling has become present. A new awareness, a new emotion.
A pain.
It's not visible, but it's there.
Ever present.
A new emotion. Something's gone.
Been replaced with an emptiness.
And with no invitation. It's there and there's no warning. It comes.
The pain continues and it stays.
The emptiness grows. It shapes itself into your soul.
Now what do you feel?
What do you hear? What can you see? What can you taste? And is there a color that comes forward? A dark color? And what emotions are coming forward for you? Sadness.
Fear.
The space that's now been left.
As we get ready to breathe in a rhythm. In a beat.
Going to use the out breath exhalation. To breathe out that darkness. To be that. That color.
Getting ready to breathe in the rhythm. To breathe in a beat.
Using the power of the breath. Here we go.
Once again. Smooth out. Rhythmical.
There's no beginning and no end.
And you are the breath.
In. Use your breath to release this pain.
Breathe out the color of your sadness.
In the perfect cycle, the perfect Wave the perfect rhythm. And reconnecting with our breath once again in.
Using the breath out to free us from the sadness.
Out.
See that color in exiting the body as you breathe out. As you exhale.
Let it go.
Acknowledge and accept the space they left in.
Find your peace and acceptance.
With the absence.
Without judgment.
Keep breathing. Keep connecting.
We can use the power of the Mulabandha more by squeezing it gently on the inhale.
And releasing it on the exhale. Building up a gentle charge within the body. Squeezing.
And letting go.
Beautiful. Nice.
And.
With every breath, let go more and more.
Of the color.
Of any of those negative emotions and negative beliefs we've carried for so long.
And.
Feel what you feel.
Hear what you hear.
See what you see.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
Last few breaths, in and out.
Then keep with the rhythm. Keep with the beats. And your breath guiding you through this. It's there for you.
Reconnecting with that long lost friend.
Your inner sanctuary.
The breath.
In.
Out, releasing this pain and any shame.
Your breath is your guide on this journey.
Breathing out the color of your sadness. Let it go.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
And once again with the full breath in. Breathe in. Breathe in. Breathe in. And then hold it for a second at the top where we're going to squeeze the milabanda.
And then let it go. Exhale.
Dropping into that place and that space once again.
This is the space you can trust. You can surrender to it.
Acknowledge the space that you leave behind is as important as the space you fill.
Override any urges to breathe. Step into that unfamiliar. This is where the real magic happens. But at any point you have that saving sip of air.
So go ahead and take it if you need it. It.
But hear me when I say that you are stronger than you ever imagined. But at the same time you are more vulnerable than you thought.
Allow this space to grow and to evolve and to go beyond.
Be with the silence and the stillness.
Doing amazing.
Press a pause button. Life itself just stands still. Nothing else matters.
And now, together, let's take that full breath in. In 3, 2, 1. With a full breath in through the nose, expanding the belly, the ribs, the chest. Breathe in and hold at the top. And direct and send all that energy upwards, all the way up to the midbrain. Squeeze those muscles of your forehead if you want. Direct and send it upwards.
Oxygenating your body, sending out to all those areas that maybe been deprived of us so long. Use this point, this place, this space, to send all that energy up.
And then let it go.
And let Your breath, be free. Let it return to normal. A natural pace, a natural rhythm.
Where now we.
Take this opportunity to.
Have that moment of.
Looking into the future.
As something that's brighter, something that is bigger.
And we pull the ember from the ashes.
And gently we blow life back into it.
With each breath, it comes alive.
Our internal flame, our happiness, our joy, our love, our gratitude.
With each breath, it grows brighter.
And yes, the scars will remain, but only to serve as a reminder.
And we begin to nurture it and repair those wounds.
Life is not simply a straight line.
There are always going to be twists and bends, roadblocks, bumps, hurdles.
But we breathe more life into every breath. The light returns. With it comes hope. Always hope. And we learn to love again, to trust.
See it, hear it, feel it, taste it, smell it. Where do you feel it? What do you hear?
What can you see?
What can you taste? What can you smell? And is there a color that comes forward and from this moment.
Bring in that color back into the body?
And what emotions are coming forward as we breathe in the rhythm together?
Into your nose and out through your mouth. Out.
In.
And be with your breath.
In.
And be with those emotions.
In. What you can see, what can hear, what you can feel, you can taste, what you can touch. Everything about the future, the hope, the brightness. And.
Every breath in your flame glows brighter. Out.
Feel that warmth building inside of you. The energy starting to build.
Reuniting.
Yes. And.
Emphasize out on your inhale. The mulabandha gently squeezing after the inhale.
And let it go, sending that shiver down to your spine as you release any tension. In.
In.
Out. This feels good. This feels so good. So keep breathing. Keep connecting.
You're doing amazing. And you are exactly where you need to be. Out.
And let the softness of the music and the beats and the voice.
Take you even deeper into this journey.
Out.
In.
Once again, the inhale is the exhale.
Two become one. The exhale is the inhale. In.
Make that breath flow as freely from one side, the next, no gaps and the pauses in.
Breathing in that light, that color, letting it circulate around your body.
And breathe out the love for everyone else to appreciate as well.
10.
Out.
In.
8. 10.
Out.
Of 10. And.
X.
In.
X.
And Chanley Scott. Squeezing on the inhale and releasing on the exhale.
Pulling up that little source of energy as you breathe out, sending that love out to everyone else. They too can appreciate it. They too can feel it.
Out.
In.
Out.
Emphasize these last few breaths. In and out.
All that energy going into the in. Breath. And I love pouring out on the out. Breath.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
A full breath in. Breathe in. Breathe in. Breathe in.
Once again. Hold and squeeze. And hold it here.
Pause.
And then exhale.
Let it go.
Drop into this space.
Allow whatever needs to come forward to come forward. Don't ignore these moments. Don't ignore these thoughts. Be with them. Embrace them.
Acknowledge them. Accept them.
And hold your breath.
Natural pause. The stillness.
The past can't hurt you anymore.
Not unless you let it.
In the midst of all the silence, the stillness.
The space within.
You hear the words, I've got you. And you know that everything.
Will be okay.
And together, let's Count down from 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Now take your full breath in. Breathe in. Breathe in. Breathe in. Breathe all that light, all that energy up, up, up. And hold it there. And squeeze all the energy up. Pull it up. Send it upwards. And send it outwards for your message to be heard.
Send it as far as you want it to go to the universe. Or send it to someone that deserves it. And hold and squeeze. And direct.
And then with a quick exhale, let go.
Right back in. And full breath again. Breathe in. Breathe in. Breathe in.
And again. Squeezing and holding. Holding and directing all that energy up. Pull it upwards. You got this.
And if you are ready to let go, then let go. But if you can hold just for five seconds longer, then count down. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. And exhale.
Your breath returns to a natural rhythm. A natural pace.
Our breath is our sanctuary.
It's always been there.
Even in our darkest days, it was there.
Waiting. Silently.
Your breath is your compass. Your North Star.
In the space between yes and no, there is a lifetime.
It's the difference between the path you walk and the one you leave behind.
It's the gap between who you thought you could be and who you really are.
Just take this moment and this opportunity to be kind to yourself.
Have these last few minutes to yourself. For you and only you.
Sam.
We slowly begin to become aware of noises, of sounds, of textures.
Of movement. And we use that to gently bring ourselves back to this moment. To this space.
This time, to this.
Present moment.
And there is no rush to please take as long as you need.
When you feel ready to.
Wiggle your toes and wiggle your fingers.
To stretch, to move your head, move your arms.
To welcome yourself back to.
This moment.
And to say thanks and take a gratitude for.
Allowing yourself this timeless space.
To witness and to feel and to breathe.
This has been Summer Breath. Breathe together. Sunday with Nigel and Piot.
Thank you all for being here.
Just gradually and slowly bring yourself back around.
And I'll hand you back to the capable hands of Piot. Thank you. Once again.
Just.
Speechless. Let's just. Yeah.
Allowing the music to drift away beautifully. Nigel, that was incredible. That was truly incredible. And for me, and obviously being in the background, as Nigel mentioned as well, please take as much time to come back. I mentioned before, this is a safe container. And I just want to thank you all because as a host, I cannot participate in the journeys, but I'm able to see as well, just for my eyes, how some of you are going through the emotions and so some of you are breathing and it just looked really, really beautiful and really powerful. So thank you for allowing me to also witness your.
Your journeys because this was truly, truly remarkable. I noted down a few things, which is this. Scars, scars will remain, but only as a reminder. And, you know, the inhale becomes the. The exhale. Powerful. So please, right now use the chat as well to express anything you want to express. Again, this is a safe container. This is you with us expressing and being connected. And some of you that are repeatedly coming back to us, you feel safe with us. And this is for us very important. So this is not only a safe container, but also a container of love. And I think Nigel has just proven that as well through his guidance. And I'm just going to read out a couple of comments and of course I will allow as well. Anyone that would like to share. This is the beauty of being on Zoom. Anyone that is still on YouTube, please come if you want to share anything of your experience of the journey in the Zoom. Not only chat, but also we'll be able to bring you on if you want to have a conversation with us or just express your gratitude or express anything at all, anything at all of this journey. So let me just read out a couple of the comments that are just flowing in now. Floating in, floating in. Thank you very much, Nigel. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you. Okay, I'm just reading. Thank you. Thank you. Oh. Thank you all for holding this space for me. The release, the breath, the love is so amazing. I'm so grateful for my loss, for my breath. And all of you here, thank you so much, Shannon, for sharing with us in the chat and as well before the journey, for sharing your story. Thank you, Shannon. Honestly, this is truly beautiful. Thank you so much. The guidance was perfect. Couldn't agree more, Nancy. So grateful to be with you all and of course, wishing you all A beautiful week. This was wonderful and just what I needed. Thank you, Nigel. It's beautiful. Cry and laugh at the same time.
Thanks, Nigel.
Thank you so much. So much. Wakefulness and giving insights of breath. Wow. What a journey. It was amazing. I could go back and not move into the emotion of loss, but see it as memory and well knowing I was safe. Johan, how long was the hypoxia time? I couldn't hold it long enough. Okay, we're gonna definitely go maybe to this in just a moment, Nigel, because this is a very technical where everyone's now still coming back from their blissful journey. Samantha. Thank you, Nigel. Such a beautiful journey. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much. Master from Glenn. Just beautiful. Thank you. It was magical. Thank you. This was my first experience doing soma breath. Lisa, welcome. Welcome to the tribe. Welcome to the community. Put this as well as a reminder. Each Sunday we do Sunday breath together community events. We might be changing times. Usually it is at 12pm Eastern Time, which is 5pm UK, 6pm Central European Time. But Sundays we are together. So Sunday is a special day for all of us to come together and breathe together. Nigel, very honest. Yes, very honest man from Elizabeth. Thank you. Absolutely beautiful. So deep and I'm leaving with a peaceful mind. I'm still feeling so much processing, still holding so much emotion, especially after the journey like this. And actually I want to find out from you, Nigel, as well, what is your.
Feedback or insights now? How can people integrate? How can people be after such a powerful journey? So I'm gonna give you back the mic, my brother, and if you want to share maybe your. The way you ground yourself, the way you center yourself after such powerful journeys.
Yeah. Thanks, Piot. I think we allow ourselves this space that sometimes the. Any reactions or any results, if you like, that come from these meditations might not happen straight away. So you allow yourself maybe a day or two to reflect and it's a good space now to write notes down and, or journal what was coming forward for you, what that emotion was. But also like I said with, you know, the scars remain, but you know, there's, there's positivity there about, you know, we keep this journey going, we keep connecting with our breath, we keep bringing forward these positive emotions and we keep breathing into that space. And through that we learn to heal. We're never going to get rid of it, but we learn to heal from it. We learn to grow and to evolve and to no longer listen to the voices in your head or listen to any limiting beliefs that you have you know, you can predict your new reality. You can create your new future just by doing something like Summer Breath, which is absolutely that platform to allow you to grow and expand within.
Amazing. Thank you so much.
Again.
Very powerful. And again, the reason why we're also using the chat and what we're letting you as well, to speak, to, converse with us, is because once you let it out of your system through the breath, but also by using words, you'll feel more empowered to go through that healing journey. And it is always a journey. And loss can have just so many different forms, so many different ways to show up. And. And. And honestly, it can. It can show up out of nowhere, right in the morning, in the evening, at nighttime, in our dreams and wake state, you know, and it. And it might feel so overwhelming when it shows, it shows up. So coming back to the breath, coming back to journeys like this and reconnecting and, you know, somebody put in the chat as well. Journaling. Absolutely powerful way. I'm a huge fan of nature and going to nature and connecting to the Earth, the trees, so that I can just feel the energy of safety, because that's what Earth gives for me. That's just my way. I just feel really safe and grounded. Once I connect to trees, the Earth, then I just feel like, oh, well, you know, I'm here just in this one lifetime. This planet has been here for just God only knows how long. So I have. I see. Karina, if I'm correct, I'm gonna unmute you. Hello. And I'm gonna unmute you and add a. So everyone can see you.
Well, what a absolutely beautiful, perfect, and very generous, very generous session, Nigel. And Pivot as well. I love to be here with you. This was so perfect for me to set me up for my next meeting because I'm going into even more power with a. A light group.
So this is just. I can only imagine what's going to start to organically open up through this whole week, because it's, like, going to be major, and it was really important. I try and do my very best to make sure I'm here with all of you and serve as a support for everyone as well. That's part of my purpose of being here. And I'm very honored to be in this group and to slowly get back to my own program with soma. It's so powerful. And the bringing in Nigel, that beautifulness of that time that was so enriched of joy and. And love and happiness.
It just.
It expanded and it anchored at the same time, for it Allowed more of a release. I went through a really bad accident for four years ago and almost lost my foot completely, but we're still healing. I will see you tomorrow, Puy. And.
And so it brought sensations that I didn't know I was still carrying with that and really helped release that because I was in. The first thing that came through is when veil dancing with the Sufi master and workshop. And that all first came, and then right through it, my foot was allowed to release a lot. And I want to be able to get back to all of that again. So thank you so much.
I really, really am very grateful.
Thank you. Thank you, Karina, for sharing that with me. I really appreciate that, and I wish you so much of the best for your healing journey with your foot. Yeah, thank you.
And my journey with Soma.
Exactly.
Absolutely. It took me a while to come back, but I'm back, and I feel very blessed for it. I really do. So I must bid everyone adieu because I'm required to convene with some lightworkers now.
Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you so much for sharing. And what I love about journeys like this, it's when you are taking yourself out of even the summer course, whatever it's meant to be, it's meant to be, and that's when you do the work on yourself so then you can facilitate, facilitate and do more work in the world. I. I've been exactly like that. My level two was the most difficult, challenging level because I went through my own healing, my own processes. But once I went through that, I was like, wow, now I understand the power of Soma bread, truly, and I.
Can be so much more present for. For my people and. And help guide them. So I'm really excited about that.
That.
Thank you so much. Many blessings, and I'll see you tomorrow.
Yes, you will.
Thank you so much.
Many blessings to everyone.
Indeed. Thank you so much, everyone. Is there anyone else that would like to share?
We've got my favorite number right now. 33 participants are still left in the Zoom. 33, but. So I think this is the moment as well, where I would like to remind you all about the challenge. And I'm gonna. I'm gonna take a little bit of a twist on that challenge because some people said to me, oh, it's a fitness challenge. It's a strength. Yes, I see you. I see you. I will. I will make sure that I'm gonna unmute you in just a moment. Stuart T. Stuart. But. Yes, yes, yes. But the. The reconnection of body, mind, Energy through movement, through breath, through mindset. Shifting is something that is just so powerful in going through all these moments as well of loss, of the reconnection of our body, reconnection of calm, reconnection of peace, reconnection, remembering purely. This is exactly I think what Nigel and I think all of us, there's this underlying team. You know, you can come here for you know, a theme like you know, loss or maybe manifestations. But under all of that, under that surface, it's that remembering that you are enough as you are, incredible as you are strong as you are, empowering as you are. And we want to just remind you, we're just here, your guides, facilitators that are helping you remember. Right Nigel? Yes. Okay, I see T. Stewart, I'm going to unmute you now and add the pin.
Amazing.
Okay.
Can you hear me?
We can, yes.
Okay.
I'm. Thank you. Thank you first of all so much. I have so much gratitude for both of you. Amazing. I don't know quite yet how to describe what I've just experienced. Still kind of processing it, still full of very much emotion. But I'm thankful I didn't needed this today. I misunderstood what my loss was.
I was searching and searching and helping through others. I've just recently sort of launched my own healing collective and was tapping myself out because I was continuing to search for that loss through others. And this exercise, it's wow. I. I guess it helped me to see through clear eyes that the loss that I've been searching for has actually been the loss of myself.
And in so many ways that loss of myself has.
Decisions and the after effects and the loss that I thought was the most prominent loss with others and relationships and was truly just back to that loss of self.
And you know, when that's found and you see all the after effects and you feel the guilt of that and it sort of of adds on rather than fixed right away. That realization can almost self traumatize until you grasp hold of the fact that the tools are in your hand.
I'm having a really hard time explaining because like I'm saying I'm just processing all of this but the compassion for self and the seeing, the clarity and, and, and when you're brought to that place and I see so many lights and encasements and, and it just, it really brought such clear view and clarity and I'm just so thankful, so thankful. I really don't know what else to say but I wanted to share that and, and, and just thank you for helping me find the true loss that I've been trying to heal.
Thank you. And I think that's a very valid point you've made there about the true losses is yourself and coming back to that. Come back to your values and your beliefs and what you hold true and dear to yourself. So I really appreciate that and thanks very much for highlighting that. So be kind to yourself the rest of the day and the next few days onwards and allow whatever needs to come forward, come forward. And from that you'll grow forward and continue to. So thank you very much for sharing. Thank you.
Beautiful. Thank you so much. And I hope this will sound. I'm going to still say it. It's going to sound as it's going to sound. But when actually people are speechless or they don't know what words to use, I think that's actually a really beautiful way to understand that because we are energy. Words are made up. Right. So you can see how humanity has created a bunch of words. And we're trying to say this is bliss, this is ecstasy. But there comes a moment where you understand through these practices that there is no words to describe. So actually, what you. When you. I got same, same, same, same, goosebumps, same. And I, I do, honestly, I. I do believe in this. Once you have this momentum, like, I don't know what to say. I don't. I. I don't understand what that is exactly. I'm like, bravo. This is. This is it. This is the. The. The top of the. Of the top. So thank you so much for sharing that.
Thank you.
I will see you tomorrow.
I'm signed up.
Yes. Amazing. Fantastic. Yes. Thank you so much. I'll see you tomorrow. Indeed.
Much love.
Much love, Suzanne. I have you as well. I'm gonna unmute you, Suzanne, and add the pin. Now.
Unmute. Can you hear me?
No, no, you're not. You're not. We can hear you.
Okay. Okay. Yeah. Yeah.
An emotional journey. What I saw was myself, I think as a little girl when I was younger, as we do when younger we play in a field. Yeah. We're happier, I think, as children and what previously by herself. I think it probably was the same thing because of the change that have happened in the last few years in my life since I was.
So, yeah. I think maybe for those that everything means for me. But yeah, as a young child, I felt probably free.
So. Yeah. Because I just saw myself feel like. I know.
So, yeah, that's what it. Not 100% sure. But yeah. It doesn't mean that I'm just coming Back to myself. Yeah.
Thank you, Suzanne. Thank you. Thanks for taking the time to share that with us. Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you so much, Suzanne, honestly. Thank you. And I'll see you tomorrow as well. Suzanne. Suzanne. I, I, I do. Because I know Suzanne from different journeys and retreat as well and such. Cyprus, you know, what you have already gone through and achieved in this short space and time. It's already like, you know, applause for you to show up, keep on showing up. It's beautiful. So thank you, Suzanne, for sharing as well who you are and as you are. Thank you.
Perfect. Okay. And I'm just looking at the chat as well. What a most wonderful journey this morning. Thank you for your guidance from tobacco. Thanks again. Need to go from Sicily any. And of course in the chat box, you've got as well that ultimate mind body energy connection challenge with me. Well, it's a webinar with me where we're going to be going through mindset, body set, energy sets, all sets basically tomorrow on the 5th of May at 10am Eastern Time, 4.3pm UK and 4pm Central European Time. Just come with an open mind, open heart and just allow yourself to reconnect to the body, reconnect to the soma, the body, reconnect to the energy and just, yeah, permission to feel again.
Maybe even that what Suzanne just mentioned. Feel that childlike state back, you know, that curiosity, that playfulness in the body through the mindset. And with me as your friend, your guide, your, your body. You know, I like to just look at things in a very much more lighter way. Right. Because there's all these things might be very heavy and painful and challenging. But you know what? Sometimes when you look, when we change slightly the way we look at things, you know, the things that we look at change as well. As Wayne Dyer used to say. Nigel, my friend, brother, who I know personally as well. Is there any parting words that you want to share with us?
I should just answer the question that Johan asked about the breath retention. So if anyone else is interested, round one was a minute and a half. Rounds two and three were two minutes duration of breath holding. So gives you an idea of how long you were in retention for. Other than that, thanks very much everyone for being here again. Thanks pj for being that amazing host and no doubt I'll be back at some point in the future. So thanks again.
Perfect duo. Perfect duo. And of course, I'm just making sure as well that now we see everyone on the screen. Thank you all so much for still staying with us. Thank you. Many blessings your way. Nigel, thank you. Monica, thank you. And everyone else here, Suzanne, Georgia, Glenn, Cynthia, Jane, Johan, Sinead, Dalila, thank you all so much. Truly. Many blessings your way. And have a fantastic day. Afternoon, evening. Be very much aware, more aware of the breadth and of everything else going on around you. Many blessings. And I'll see some of you tomorrow. Hopefully all of you tomorrow. I'll have a checklist tomorrow. No, I'm not going to do any checklist tomorrow. Thank you.
