Hi, my name is Neeraj and welcome to another one of my daily rituals. This time I've got something very special for you. This is one of my daily hacks for my health. Now, if you want to get all of the nutrition that you need in one simple drink, this is going to solve that problem. And it's my Alpha Omega smoothie. And the reason why I call it a hack because it's a really quick, super fast way of getting all of the vitamins, minerals, essential oils and proteins into your diet in just one simple drink. Okay. I have this about half an hour after I wake up. I have some water first and then I have this a little while after that. And this will actually replace your breakfast. So if you're used to having stuff like cornflakes for breakfast, which you know aren't really doing anything for your health, this is a really delicious way to get a really nutritious start to your day. So what are the ingredients? Well, the first up, maca. What's maca? Maca is a powder from a root that found in Peru. Peruvians would grind this up and it's a really densely packed powder filled with vitamins, minerals, carbs, and it's actually filled with energy boosting nutrients which the Peruvians claim is really good for your libido. So that might be something you want to test out yourself. The next up is shelled hemp. Now, hemp is not what you think. Hemp has actually been given a bad name because it's been associated with cannabis and cannabis is the.
Plant that's been outlawed for ages. But hemp actually has been used for centuries as a way to make rope, timber, paper, and you can even make plastics from it. In fact, you can do most of the things you can do with oil from hemp. And it is also one of the most nutritious foods. Amazingly, it's filled with essential oils as well. Filled with the right balance of three, six and nine essential oils. It's also really rich in amino acids. It's got the full spectrum of amino acids which you normally find in meat, but you can get it in hemp. So if you are a vegetarian, I really urge that you use hemp in your diet. But this is going to really help you get pretty much all of the nutrition that you need. And it tastes good as well. It's got like a nutty texture to it. Okay, so that's the next ingredient. Next up, we've got MCT oil. Now what's MCT oil? Well, MCT stands for medium chain triglycerides and these are essential oils that your body cannot create on its own, so it has to consume it from nature. Great thing with MCT oil, okay, Unlike some other fats you'll find in factory foods, is that it is actually stored as energy, and it goes straight into energy rather than being stored as fat. So it's not going to make you put on weight. Fat is going to energize you first thing in the day. And in fact, you know, this is a very, very important fat that you need to pay attention to. And that is we're all fat heads, okay? 60% of our brain is actually fat. Now, the danger with having all these low fat diets out there and people cutting fat of their diet is that we're not getting enough of the essential fat that we need for our brain health, okay? The health of our brain. So MCT oil is not only just a good way for us to have more energy, okay, but it's also going to help us improve our brain health and be more focused and have better memory into old age.
And again, the next thing I like to add is a bit of coconut butter, okay? So coconut butter and MCT oil are fairly similar, but coconut butter is also less refined and it's got more of a varied mix of other essential oils, like one of them, lauric acid, okay? And lauric acid is found in breast milk. In fact, coconut butter is quite similar in composition to breast milk, and breast milk is one of the most nutritious things you'll ever consume. So instead of actually going out trying to find breast milk, coconut butter is going to do the same job and really ensure that you've got a nice spectrum of the essential oils that you need. But my secret ingredients, there's two of them coming up. The first one I want to talk about my secret magic health ingredient, and that is Colostrum. Now, colostrum is actually the first milk that a mother gives to the baby and it gives you your first immune system, okay? Because it's packed full of growth factors, immunofactors, vitamins, minerals, and all sorts of other goodness that is going to really boost a baby's health, okay? And without the colostrum, many children who aren't breastfed and put strands of powdered milk end up with lots of childhood allergies. So colostrum is really essential for your immune system. It's also the reason why cows are considered holy in India, because we can use cow's colostrum with the same effect in humans, okay? And in the ancient India, the Ayurvedic doctors knew about this amazing healing quality of colostrum and they used to make the holy sweets in temples and religious ceremonies out of colostrum. And this is a forgotten fats actually about colostrum and how amazing it is for your health. And over the years, people have forgotten about this amazing benefit that colostrum has. But now it's time to resurface. Lots of studies out there backing up colostrum's benefits in actually recovering from chronic illnesses, autoimmune conditions, issues such as ulcerative colitis, crohn's where you need to repair the the tissue in the gut. It's also brilliant for people who are into fitness and want to build muscle and grow stronger bones and muscles because this is actually really powerful and shown in many studies using athletes as a way for bodybuilders to get pumped faster in a healthy way.
So I really like chocolate. The super ingredient that I like to add, okay, for your taste is chocolate. Okay. Everyone loves chocolate. Who doesn't like chocolate, right? But chocolate is also in its raw form, okay, which is raw cacao, one of the foods that's got the highest antioxidant ratings of all foods. And it's very densely packed in other forms of nutrition as well. That's going to be really beneficial for boosting your immune system and your overall well being. In fact, it's also rich in oxytocin boosting molecules. And oxytocin makes it you feel in love, it makes you feel good, it makes you feel happy. Okay? So.
Chocolate is a vital ingredient in my smoothie because it also tastes great. Because when you add raw cacao to the creamy base that we've got here, okay. It's just going to taste like a really nice creamy milk chocolate smoothie. Okay. So this is one of my essential ingredients.
Then what I like to do is sweeten up my smoothie, but not with sugar, but with bananas. Okay. But I like to go for really ripe bananas. The riper the better. Okay, so make sure there's no green on the banana to make sure it's ripe. Make sure there's black spots and even try the banana before you put it in. So make sure it's tastes nice and sweet. And you can add one or two bananas depending on size. But banana is also very nutritious. It's rich in minerals like phosphorus and magnesium and it can also help you digest your food better. It's really good for cleansing out your digestive system as well. But don't go for ripe bananas, because it's going to do the opposite. Unripe bananas is going to actually stuff up your gut and be really difficult to digest. So make sure you always go for ripe bananas because then the last ingredient that I like to add, which will make it into an actual smoothie, is milk. Okay. And I like to use an alternative to cow's milk because it's easier to digest. The problem with cow's milk is the molecules are really big. Okay. And it's also got lactose in it and some people have lactose allergies. I, I can't digest cow's milk very well, but alternatives like rice milk or coconut milk or almond milk are really good alternatives. I also like goat's milk. Goat's milk is as nutritious as cow's milk because cow's milk is actually very nutritious, but the molecules are very small, so it's very easy for you to digest. Okay. So that rounds up all my ingredients I like to add into the Alpha Omega smoothie. So now let's put it all together and you show, show you how delicious it tastes. Now I'm going to give you a quick summary on my magic whiteboard of all of the amazing ingredients that we need to add to make a really great tasting smoothie. So first up is maca. We just need one tablespoon, then hemp seed, again, just one tablespoon. Then we've got mct oil. You can just put in one tablespoon of that and a tablespoon of coconut butter. Okay. And then we want at least 2 tablespoons colostrum. The more colostrum the better. Okay. Gives all that good nutrition to the mix. If you add lots of colostrum, then we want to add at least a tablespoon of cocoa powder. But it depends on how chocolatey you want it. You can add one or two tablespoons, depending on how chocolate you want it. Then you want to add at least two bananas. Okay. If they're the size of bananas I've been having. Okay. Two ripe bananas or one big, long ripe banana should make sure that the smoothie is sweet enough for you. Okay. And then we want to add at least.
Two glasses like this of milk. So we stick all those ingredients into a blender and we switch it on.
Mix it all up, pour it into a glass.
Alright. And I'm just going to just sample it before I give it to anyone else. Make sure it tastes good.
Not bad at all. In fact, could even throw in some ice cubes and make it really chilled. But there we have it. We have the Alpha Omega smoothie.
