So if you're somebody who gets often triggered or stressed or anxious and you find that you comfort eating or biting your nails or having other bad habits to relieve this tension, well, why not try this one simple exercise where we're combining tapping with our soma breathing techniques. And it's a very simple and easy exercise you can do at any time of the day.
You know, Soma breath is actually all about the rhythm. And you can tap a rhythm with your fingers. Okay, so we're going to start from the top of the head and scan all the way down the body and use a visualization and the breathing pattern to help release the stress and also charge up the body with prana, which we can then.
Send to each and every single one of our cells for a nice overall healing and cleansing of the entire system. Okay, so here's how we do it. So you can use both fingers to tap. Okay, so we're going to start creating a rhythm, tapping rhythm, top of your head. So like a gentle rhythm like this.
And then you're going to breathe in through your nostrils and out through your mouth in that rhythm. So you're going to do say four, two, three, four breaths in and the four breaths out. Okay, so we're creating a nice, smooth, coherent breath. So let's get that rhythm. So it's like one beat per second or you can do it faster. If you like to tap faster, you can go even faster. Okay, but then you'd want to use like 8 taps for each rhythm. But once you get into a rhythm, you're fine. You don't need to count in your head. You'll be able to just do it with a groove. Okay, so I'm just going to keep a nice gentle rhythm like this.
Okay. And you're going to breathe in and you're going to imagine as you're breathing in, you're breathing into the area that you're tapping. Then you're going to breathe out of that area, too. Okay, so imagining you're breathing in light into that area as you're tapping, and then you're breathing out.
Any old energy that doesn't serve you, creating a circuit like a magnetic charge around your body. That's right. So let's start the breathing.
So it's the same rhythm. So same number of taps on the inhale, same number of taps on the exhale. Breathing into that area and breathing out of that area. Okay. And you want to breathe into the diaphragm, then into the chest. Okay, so let's start. I'm going to do the whole rhythm now.
So three cycles for each one. Now move on to the temples.
Forehead it.
Under your nose.
Chin.
Shoulders.
Chest, thymus gland.
And now the size of your shoulders.
Nice solar plexus.
Thighs.
Here's one I like. Under the abdomen start to wake up the blood flows into your intestines.
And then keep one fully in.
And now blow air out like you're breathing out through a small straw.
Slowly.
Again another deep inhale.
Full yogic breath all the way in and then exhale slowly.
Pre pursed lips.
And imagine waves of exhalation of relaxation are flowing down through your body like a water full of good feelings.
