Hey, Neeraj here, the renegade pharmacist. This video, I'm going to show you how to make one of my magic potions. This is something I love to wake up to every single morning. But the thing is, I still haven't got a name for it yet. And so I call it the nectar of the gods, much to the amusement of my girlfriend. So if you have any better suggestions for what this should be called, let me know. But really what it is is a bliss. A cup. It's like when you taste it, it tastes like ecstasy, right? I mean, not the pharmaceutical kind, but the cacao kind because the first ingredient is magic. Cacao. Right? But it has to be specific cacao. It can't be this like low grade, cheap cacao that you get a lot in these mass produced kind of places because they usually strip out the fats and, and that makes it cheaper and easier to ship around. So you need to get full fat cacao, like unadulterated cacao. This is actually Guatemala cacao from our local store in Barcelona where they sell all kinds of stuff and they have different varieties of cacao. And this is actually the full fat, unadulterated powdered cacao. Alright, so what we're going to do is we're going to put in.
Two tablespoons of this. Okay. And actually you can add in three. I'm making for two people here because obviously doing things in couples is way better than on your own. I'm going to put in three because I love chocolate so much. But you could, you could experiment with how much you put in. Okay, Then the next magic ingredient is maca powder. I'm going to talk a little bit about these two ingredients, why they're so good, in a moment. Okay. But maca powder, I usually put in like half a teaspoon like this of the maca powder. Okay. I mean a tablespoon. So there we go. So what is maca and cacao? Well, this is actually considered the food of the gods. Okay. So in South America, this is very, very revered stuff. It's full of like all of the vitamins, minerals. It's like a food that contains everything. It's got a complete food and it's incredibly potent in antioxidants. So I love cacao because it's so nutritious. You can literally live off this stuff. Okay. And it's full of essential oils. That's why I say you must keep the fats. Okay. The essential oils are essential for a reason. They're so good for your body. All Right. And then maca powder. This is again, incredibly potent in all kinds of nutrients and it's especially potent in the nutrients and minerals especially that help you produce testosterone. Okay. And it's really important in men to keep you virile and strong and healthy, because testosterone, you just look up the studies, is really important for longevity as well. And maca is also like an aphrodisiac. So it kind of wakes you up with a bit of a bang if you're into that kind of thing. And then we also have.
A very important ingredient. This is a staple in India. Okay. So a lot of you may have this impression that Indians are all vegans. Well, that's not true. They love ghee. They actually use ghee in almost everything. It's actually very, very good for cleaning toxins out of the gut and cleaning the bowels out. Now this is clarified butter. So it comes from a cow. And what they do is they get the milk and they separate all the fat from it. So this is pure fat and it tastes really, really creamy. I'm just going to use a different spoon so we don't contaminate that. Okay.
So here we go. I'm going to put in now. And this is the real key ingredient, 2.
Tablespoon. So I usually put in like one big tablespoon per person for this. Okay. I love it. Really, really creamy. Okay. And then the next ingredient after that is the.
Honey. So you need it if you want to do this the right way. You want to have it a little bit sweet. If you love bittery tasting stuff, then you don't need to have the honey. You can also use stevia if you're into stevia. Artificial sweeteners like that. Oh, well, that's actually a natural sweetener, but there's like xylitol as well. Not everyone gets on with stevia, but here we go. So a little bit of honey. I don't put a lot because I don't like my stuff too sweet. Okay. And then all you're going to do is add boiling water to a cup. Pour that in there. Okay. You need two cups because it's two people, and then blend. So I'm going to show you the finished product right now after we've boiled some water. Okay.
So here's an extra ingredient I'd like to add as well. Coconut milk. Okay. So I add a little bit to taste and I get proper coconut milk. Like this is real Thai coconut milk without it being watered down like you get on the supermarkets and stuff. So you want to get proper coconut milk for that creaminess. Okay. And then you just.
Put it all together in the blender.
And.
Whisk it away.
Now we just pour in our delicious elixir of.
Goodness, ecstatic goodness, into this cup. You may have heard of things like bulletproof coffee. Well, he just got the idea from the Nepalese with a yak tea. And actually, yak tea is horrible. It tastes like crap. So I wanted to make something that was incredibly delicious, that combines the food of the gods from the South Americas, because they really knew how to make things taste good. So chocolate is one of my favorite things. Add it with maca, gives it that malty taste. Put it in with some coconut milk ghee, which is the staple of the yak tea, which is what gives you all that energy. No coffee needed whatsoever, because it still has a boost, like if you've had coffee without having all those jittery effects of caffeine. Because there's other things in cacao which combats the jitteriness of caffeine, like the theobromide and things like that. So this is incredibly nutritious. And what you can also do is you can add extra things to it, so you can add, like, cinnamon to it, you can add spices, even cayenne pepper, things like that. That will enhance the flavour as you wish. So I'm going to enjoy my cup of nectar of the gods.
Wow, that is epic.
