I discovered a book called Prometheus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson. It's an amazing book, I highly recommend it. And he talks about the 8th Circuit model of consciousness, which was created by Timothy Leary as a map of human consciousness to understand how the mind works and why we do what we do. And it talks also about this concept of reality tunnels. That you are fine tuned from a young age, programmed by your environment, by your friends, teachers, information adverts, media, politicians, to think and act and behave in a certain way. And that early conditioning is happens in the first seven years your life. And it forms this reality tunnel which is a filter of how you see the world. There's your belief systems that takes you down a certain predictable path in your life.
