Kambo is a secretion from an Amazonian frog administered through tiny burns to deliver peptides into the lymph. These peptides bind to targets across the nervous system and can cross the blood-brain barrier, and practitioners claim it helps with addiction and anxiety by affecting limbic structures.

Cambo, tell us a bit about that. What is it? It's a secretion from the back of a frog in the Amazon that we presume is something that they use as a self defense mechanism or there's no documented evidence for that. And essentially this secretion which is secreted off the entire posterior surface, arms, back, legs, head of the frog, it contains a cocktail of biologically active peptides. So tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny little proteins which through a small, very, very superficial burn in the skin so that it's not even. There's no blood there, it's just like the base of a blister. Almost through that the serum and the lymph suck, the poison which you put on that, on that spot, into the body. And all these biologically active peptides get dispersed throughout the body and attach to. There's a massive array of different things they attach to. From smooth muscle to adrenal cortex to deep into the limbic system. Like you said, within, they actually cross the blood brain barrier, which is quite rare. But because of some of the, some of the peptides cause such dilatation and constriction of the blood vessels, actually that allows a certain permeability across the blood brain barrier, which is very rare. And it goes into the brain. So I think also similar, like you were saying to cannabis, it's so wonderful for addiction and all these weird anxieties and things that come from that limbic system and reptilian part of the brain where all of our sort of self limiting belief patterns and subconscious thought patternings come from that direct so much of our behavior really the cambo can get in there and really heal some of those things.
