You Are Not Anxious. You Are Dysregulated. - Niraj Naik's Masterclass - 14th July 2026 - 10am ET

Niraj Naik argues anxiety is nervous-system dysregulation, not a mental disorder, and can be corrected through nasal breathing and breath pauses. The Soma Breath app adds a vibe selector, global synchronized breathing room, and protocols for gut health and migraines. He's launching an instructor program with flexible training lengths and a Breathworks Challenge to teach CO₂ tolerance.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a Soma Breath event. It's a pleasure to see all your lovely faces here. If you have your camera, feel free to turn it on and you can wave hi if you can. And if you prefer to be silent but present, that's okay too. We welcome every way of attending this webinar. But nonetheless, for those of you who are Somies, know that we do have a chance to see each other, interact with each other. We might get to move a little. But that's something that you'll get to expect maybe in the next few hours that we get to spend together. And we'll get a chance to make this interactive, informative, and quite the experience in and itself. For those of you who are here, I'm wondering, is it good morning? Is it good night? Is it good afternoon? We usually have quite a worldly audience that joins this. And so feel free to type that into the chat. What is the— what is the calc sign? What's happening in your part of the world? Is it a good morning, afternoon, or night? Or more specifically, let me know exactly which city, country you're tuning in from. I always love bringing up my map, see exactly what's happening. I see we got Ilya from Québec. We have, ah, London. I see Tel Aviv coming in, Dallas, Waterloo. I saw Arizona, United Kingdom, Mexico, Ecuador, New Hampshire. There we go. And as I lift these out, I think we're getting to see the map getting populated a little bit. So we got the Canada, the Americas, the Mexico, We got, I believe that is Chile popping in as well. United Kingdom, Europe. I see here, is that around Greece? Is that Romania? I see India. That's getting a little later in the day. I'm going to go and throw in my own location into the mix. I know we got Monica out in the Philippines coming in at 10 PM at night. I'll put my little dot on the map tuning in from Bali. Anybody here have been to Bali before? Bali is a beautiful island in Indonesia. Had a chance to be here for quite a while. Matter of fact, my, uh, we are as Soma Breath going to be having one of our instructor immersive retreats happening here in November. And so Bali is definitely going to be a cool place for Somis to get together and have a really, really incredible experience. And so, well, since you guys are coming from around the world, wow, we see this going up. I believe that's the Austria. We have a retreat in Austria happening just in a month from now in the beautiful mountains where the air is at its freshest. And so we do know we have a ton of people that are going to get a chance to go and experience Awakening Retreat out in Austria. So we see we have some people already there. Good to see you. And since we're asking some questions and getting to know you a little better, I always like to ask the question of who is here. And so this is using the 1-2-3. If you're new to Soma Breath, type 1. If you are a regular breather with us, type 2, or if you're already an instructor or in the process of becoming one, type 3, and we get to have a chance to see who's on the call with us today. And I'll tell you something I see consistently every time we do events is we're always hovering around 40 to 70% of people who join these events are completely new to Soma Breath, and many of you are actually completely new to breathwork. But isn't that crazy how so many people have the curiosity, the intent for understanding what breathwork is all about. And so every single time we do these, whether it's through our regular Breathe Together Sundays, when we do these special events tackling a specific topic, we know that a ton of you are brand new to Soma Breath. So if you're here, welcome. My name is Jason Mark Campbell. I'll be your host for today. I'll be introducing the founder of Soma Breath, who'll get a chance to lead you through an educational event, as well as an experiential event where you'll get to experience breathwork with Soma Breath. And so you will never answer this question the same because you will no longer be new to Soma Breath. And perhaps no longer new to breathwork as a whole. And this is a big thing that we're doing here at Soma Breath, is we're trying to spread and, and give a chance for people who want to experience breathwork the ways to do that, whether that's online or in person. And with 25% of our attendees here are our instructors— instructors, I'll invite you to do something on your Zoom. Rename yourself with your name instructor. That way people can see when comments are coming from instructors, especially as questions are coming into the chat. You might be the ones taking initiatives to reply to those questions, and for people to know that you're an Instructor is going to be super helpful. So rename yourself with Instructor at the end and then type in I'm here, uh, on the chat so people know that there's a lot of instructors that are here and that they are supporting their journey if they're completely new to Soma Breath. Any questions you ask through the session, not only will we do our best to answer it as the host, but we have a range of instructors who are part of our mission helping us bring Soma Breath on the ground outside of the digital space and truly leading incredible sessions, retreats. And matter of fact, For people who are here on these calls, there's usually two major types of people. One of them, you're here, we're going to be talking about anxiety, we're going to be talking about nervous system regulation, and you're on this webinar and going to be spending 2 hours of your time, which we hope— for a moment here, let's, let's start with a deep breath in through the nose, out through the mouth in 3, 2, 1. You're giving yourself 2 hours to maybe step away from the day-to-day, the routine, and giving yourself this time to learn something and experience something that's going to be quite profound in helping you understand where does this anxiety come from, what happens when the nervous systems get deregulated, and more powerfully, what can you do about it? Because you will get to do something right here, right now. And if you're on this webinar and these are the things that you're looking for, you are definitely in the right place. But a second group of people who might be joining this might be very curious and thinking a bit beyond themselves into going, well, maybe this is something I want to help others with. And beyond just helping with nervous system regulation, but helping people change their states and being able to do so much more with the power of the breath. I'll spend the last few minutes of the session today to discuss with anybody who wants to go down the path of becoming an instructor themselves, what can you do about it? What does that path look like? And what will be the offer that we want to present to you by the end of this? And we'll keep that towards the end so that we can continue to focus on the content and give you that experience. And If that's cool with you, just type in, that's cool in the chat. And that way I know we can focus on delivering you an incredible 2 hours. And then I'll have permission to share more about that for those of you who want to go deeper into becoming instructors yourself.
Cool.
All right. Now with that, look, we've had a chance to see who's joining us. So a lot of you are regulars. A lot of you are new. And there's this final thing I love to do before I bring on the topic for today and get a chance to really get into the core of the session, which is getting an understanding of how everybody is feeling. Where are we standing when it comes to, you know, where we are with our body? We came to this talking about, hey, nervous system regulation and anxiety. Let's give ourselves a rating of what is our current state from 10 being great and 1 being not so great. Type it in the chat and just use the numbers 1 to 10 because that'll make it appear on the little poll here so we can understand where everybody is showing up from. And whatever state you're coming in from is the perfect state to be here. And what we're going to be trying to do today is seeing if we can nudge this in a certain direction, if we can make some improvements like live on the call together. And oh, my, my graph is looking pretty blank right now. Let's see what's going on. Am I having a technical issue? Let me have a quick look here. No, I see this. Let me just see if I can restart the results. All right, everyone type in your results one more time just to see if it starts coming. There we go. You know, sometimes you got to give it a little nudge when things aren't working too well, just troubleshoot a little. So okay, put in your, your number again since now it is working. So I love getting a pulse. I want to see where everybody is at, and if we can make a state shift right here within the hours we spend together, I know that this is going to be something that we get to measure, and this is something we always look at when we do these sessions on how we can nudge this in a positive way. So again, it doesn't matter where you're starting off from, we're going to help you at least get maybe one level, maybe two, maybe a lot more. Time will tell, especially if you're new to Soma Breath. You don't know what to expect, and boy do we have an incredible thing for you to expect for today. And so that brings me to the last question before I really go deep and bring on Niraj Naik here, which is what is it that brought you into the session today? I gave a few examples of two major types of people. I can see where everybody is feeling. We're at a 6.5. Was there a particular question or concern? Is, is it just general knowledge? Is there a personal thing that you're going through right now? Just open question. Give me some of the stuff that you feel is what brought you here. I mean, we're talking about spending 2 hours together. We're going to go deep into the topics. You're going to get to experience some breathwork, and I just want to make sure that we get to address every type of person that's joining into this room and we get to know what's happening. Look, I'm already seeing some answers coming in that are talking about specific life events. You're looking maybe for some good experiences. Look, if you're having any kind of breakup, maybe a shift in your life, whether that's in your relationship, surprises in your health, maybe in your career there's been some shifts. And my God, if you're talking about some of the world events, that could be really causing some distress. Um, it feels like everything is working against us. I mean, look, we're keeping an eye on this. Whether that's— my condolences for those of you who I've noticed have had some important people in your lives that might have been passed away. Maybe dealing with some financial difficulties, dealing with anxiety in general. Look, by the way, it sounds like we're amongst peers for some grief, some things we're looking through to go through, maybe going through trauma. Um, you're in the right place. And look, we're going to talk about all of this and how we can do something about having the tools to help us navigate the difficult situations. And so with that, thank you for sharing. I know Niraj Naik is paying attention to these comments, and that's going to be really giving him a lot of the fuel for what we're about to teach today. And again, we're going to spend about 2 hours together. I will answer the question I know is going to come up, which is yes, there will be a replay. But for those of you are here live, and if you are listening on YouTube, we're going to put a link for you to join on the Zoom because only for people who are here on the Zoom, we're going to be doing something really special at the end to make this worthwhile for those who want to take a next step. Um, and so definitely stay live. Plus it's a lot more fun when we get to interact, as you will see. And I hope you have seen so far. If you have a look right at the bottom of the screen, you'll see that there's a heart and it has a react button. And I would love for you to use that react button to just acknowledge everyone here who has shared some of the reasons that they're here today in the chat, whether that's giving them some love, sharing a heart, a thumbs up because there's some understanding and any other emoji that you want to be able to share. There are reactions and you can send them with effects. And if my mirroring is happening correctly, I'm not sure if you're seeing me mirrored or not. But you'll get to see them appear on the screen. And this is super fun while we're doing this session. If at any point Niraj is saying something that really is resonating with you, then definitely use that as a way of silently acknowledging what is going on. And we're about to get started with our Soma Breath event on self-regulation and getting rid of some anxiety. Are you guys ready? I know I, I've been asking for a lot of prompts in the chat, right? If you guys are ready, type in ready in the chat, put exclamation marks if you're excited about it. And let me take a moment to introduce our speaker and the host who's going to be really guiding you through the session today. Niraj Naik is a dear old friend I've known for over a decade, had a chance to see him on stages at Mindvalley. I've heard him on multiple podcasts like Next Level Soul and on multiple places, whether that's on the YouTube, the Instagram, growing his following and truly being passionate about sharing the message of what happens when you use the breath to be able to do a slew of differences in your state, to be able to provide healing to be able to help you regulate, to help you do so many things that takes your body and your life to the next level. He's created the Soma Breath. He's also been known as the Renegade Pharmacist. As a pharmacist formerly himself, has seen how the world is addicted to taking external objects, medicine, when there's so much medicine that comes from within, and he's here to spread it with the help of our instructors as well. And today we're going to go deeper into the topic as we give him a warm welcome and bring Niraj Naik to take the stage and guide us for today's masterclass. Niraj Naik, the floor is yours. Please take it away.
Hello.
Thank you, Jason, for the wonderful introduction. So yeah, we've known each other almost a decade as well.
I know.
Doesn't time fly?
Yeah, it does.
Okay, so let's get straight into this topic. So, okay. Anxiety. Anxiety. Now, I've actually been quite a big sufferer of this in my early years, actually, and I had no tools to, to get over this myself back then. And I kind of had to just breathe through it without actually knowing anything about breath back then. So I just want to just check in, like, who here is here because they suffer from anxiety? Who suffers from anxiety here? Yes, many of you. Okay, so, and that's obviously why you're here, right? So let me just check, um, my volume's okay, nice and loud. Can everyone hear me okay? Yeah, Jason, all good? Perfect. So, um, anxiety is something that affects so many, so many of us. It's so common, right? Um, it's such a common problem. And as a pharmacist, I dished out so many pills for this as well. You know, you have a lot of people take benzodiazepines, um, and Unfortunately, if you get stuck on benzodiazepine, you, you get withdrawals. The withdrawals are very serious. So then what do doctors do? They put you on something else that's similar, and then the withdrawals of that are even worse, and then it gets into a vicious cycle. It's really hard to get out of. So it's so much better if you are equipped with the knowledge on how to do with it, deal with it. And I really had to learn this all the hard way. What I'm going to do is we're going to start right away with a method that I have perfected over the years that does magic for anxiety. Okay. And that's what I call breathing in beats, breathing in a rhythm. Okay. So we're going to do like a very short session just to give you a taste of it. To see how you will feel after just a few minutes of rhythmic breathing, right, in a specific way. Then once we finish that, we're going to talk about how it works, like why it works, the mechanism behind it, and, and so on and so forth. Okay, so let's get into it. Who's, who's up for doing this? Who's interested? Yep, to do it right now? Yes.
Okay.
So everybody, you're gonna do a, um, a breathing practice where you breathe in a rhythm where you're breathing in for 4 beats and out for 8 beats slowly, okay, to a rhythm with music. So the way to breathe, you can do this lying down, you can be sitting up, it's up to you. You will breathe in through your nose, and if you want to, you can breathe out through your mouth. You can also breathe out through your nose, okay? And it's just very simple. You're just breathing in when I say in, you're breathing out when I say out, in a perfect rhythm. We're going to do a few different techniques. These are all sessions that you'll find on the Soma Breath app. Which you'll also get a link to, where you get access to a whole library of techniques for dealing with anxiety. I'm just going to give you a dose of it right now. So let's begin. So find a comfortable place. Make sure you're not going to get disturbed right now and you can just immerse yourself in this. This technique works much better when you just really get deep into it, focused. If you are very distracted and you have lots of browser windows open, you're looking at your Skype messages over it— I mean, okay, Skype doesn't even exist now, but WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and all this is going off— you're— no wonder you're anxious. So get rid of all that stuff that's distracting you and just be focused with this. Okay, so I'm just going to share the audio.
All right. There we go.
All right, so let's get ready. Welcome to Soma Breath Meditation Harmony. This breath-based meditation will take you into a deep state of relaxation and rejuvenation by simply following along with very simple instructions and breathing in this special breathing pattern of 5 breaths per minute with an extended exhale, you turn on the healing and rejuvenation response in the body and improve your rejuvenation and oxygenation of every single cell. So sit comfortably, upright position where you not be disturbed, or lie down on your back in a place where you can be completely relaxed and comfortable. Remember to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth in a relaxed, rhythmic way with no force or tension. Allowing your exhale to be completely smooth with no tension, no force, and with an absolutely relaxed diaphragm.
Let's begin.
Bring your awareness to the sound, any sound that draws your awareness in this moment. And notice as you tune into the sound, the voice in your mind that worries about the future, gets hung up on the past, gently drifts away, taking away with it all the worries of the world. That's And now bring your awareness to your breath as you breathe in and out, letting go on your exhale, the sigh of good feelings, the asura, becoming more and more comfortable.
And relax.
In a moment, you shall hear a count and a rhythm with the music that will become the guide of your breath. And as you breathe in this special rhythm, you will be turning off the stress, turning on relaxation, Breathing in through both your nostrils and breathing out through your mouth with a smooth, consistent rhythm, with no pause between your inhale or exhale, making sure that with every exhale you just completely relax with no force, and your breath on your inhale should be silent, smooth, and quiet, just as your mind becomes. As you breathe in the special rhythm So now exhale slowly and fully, getting ready to breathe in a rhythm. 3, 2, 1, exhale.
And in, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. That's right.
Breathing in, in a smooth and connected rhythm.
4.
No pause between inhale and exhale.
5, 6, 7, 8. Inhale.
Just allow the music to be your guide and the sound of my voice allowing you to go deeper and deeper within your own mind.
3, 4. Notice as you breathe in this special rhythm, you become more and more relaxed with a still and quiet mind. 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. You may notice tingling sensations and even your eyelid begins to flutter.
And know that, that this is a sign that you're going deeper. Into a state of tranquil bliss and relaxation.
Last one. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 6, 7, 8. In 2, 3, 4. Out 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In 2, 3, 4. Out 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. So just relax 5, 6, 7, 8. Notice how your mind relaxes and becomes more and more tranquil and peaceful. 6, 7, 8.
Turn up the dial on those good sensations, those good feelings of relaxation.
2. With every breath you take in, 6, 7, 8, and out, 8. As Niraj Naik— 1, 2, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4, out. 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Remember, the rhythm is more important than the depth. In, out.
So don't worry if you cannot breathe full lungfuls of air. So just keep breathing in that rhythm.
In, asura. 4, out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, and know that as As you're breathing in the special rhythm, you are helping the oxygen to move into every cell of your body, helping it to heal, rejuvenate, and be supercharged with it and refresh the potent source of energy from Asura. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. 4, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3. In this state of deep relaxation, you may begin to feel feelings. 6, 7, You may begin to see visions. Just allow your thoughts, ideas, and visions and feelings to just be and to express as they need to be, to become connected to your body through your breath. 2, 3, 4. 1, 2, 3, 4.
And your breath, and the thoughts of your mind.
7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. And allow your mind to be completely free to be as it needs to be. 4, out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4, out. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
Okay, now slowly coming back to normal breathing. Take a deep breath in.
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
And just let go. Just completely relaxing. Just allow your breath to just become still. And just tune in to how you're feeling right now, any sensations in your body. Now, what may have just happened— so you've become so peaceful, so relaxed that you don't want to come out of this state now. And this is always the, you know, the slight issue with doing these very relaxing sessions straight away, because now you just want to go to bed instead of hear me talk. So Daniela says, so relaxed, can I stay here? I think everyone's agreeing with me. Feel a little lightheaded. So we'll talk about why you might— some people might feel lightheaded with this. Audio. So I really recommend you do this with good pair of headphones. Any, any soma breath class you do, I recommend use your headphones or good pair of speakers, solid speakers. If you're just relying on an old PC with not very good speakers, you might get problems. If you're using headphones, you'll hear every word perfectly. These are really produced and engineered for intimate sound. It's making my Kundalini go wild. Wow, that's interesting. So keep the comments coming. I love this feedback. So let's just talk about how this breathing technique works and why you feel so relaxed, right, compared to maybe some other types of breathwork you might do. Some breathwork makes you feel very, very turned on, stimulated, right, or even orgasmic. And it can actually make some people feel more anxious if they're already anxious. So some of those breathwork styles you may be familiar with, like Rebirthing, Holotropic, where you're mouth breathing for like 30 minutes, an hour, some people do it for 2 hours even, it can actually cause more anxiety. But what we just did there was something that makes you feel more relaxed, usually. Okay, so holotropic, why does it make you more anxious? Let's, let's explain that, or just understand the physiology of your body with a little biology lesson first that will then make it very clear, right, why we get anxious in general. Because once you understand this, it's so easy to prevent anxiety from happening, right, or at least taking— causing havoc on your body and turn into panic attacks. If you just understand the basic biology of anxiety. All right. So here we go. So when you're doing any kind of heavy breathing, fast breathing, right, what you're actually mimicking in a way is how you breathe when you're having a panic attack.
All right.
You're kind of mimicking like panic, right? In a way, even though that's not the intention of it. But you're kind of modeling hyperventilation. Hyperventilation is what— how we breathe when we're anxious, okay, and we're stressed. And the reason why is because your body is preparing for either to fight or to run away because it sees a threat in its environment. So right in the core of who we are, we have the brainstem, and the brainstem is the most primitive part of the brain that it has super sensory awareness. It's, it's always scanning out for danger because all it cares about is your survival, right? That's all it cares about. So when this is on high alert because of, uh, the modern stresses We get a big burst of adrenaline and a sympathetic nervous system reaction. So you may have heard of the parasympathetic. The opposite to that is a sympathetic, and the sympathetic nervous system gets a bit of a bad rep. Okay, actually is doing what it's designed to do. All right. Because in the olden days when you lived in like around ancient tribes, right, with, with, um, in the jungles, right, with, uh, you know, things like lions and tigers and bears, right? We had a mechanism to quickly go into battle, do the, the what we need to do to, to, you know, get rid of the threat, either run away or defend ourselves. And then once the threat's gone We're all good. But nowadays we still have that same primitive part of the brain. We haven't evolved out of that yet. But instead of lions, tigers, and bears and like jungles with trees and plants, we're now living in concrete jungles. And the new lions and tigers and bears are deadlines, bills, bosses, tax bills, and so on and so forth. And the problem with this is that it never switches off. You're always on high alert, right? So what this does is it causes over-breathing, hyperventilation, okay? And that hyperventilation will lead to lower CO2 levels in the body. Because when we breathe in, we breathe in carbon dioxide. When we breathe out, we breathe out— sorry, when we breathe in, we breathe in oxygen. When we breathe out, we breathe in CO2— breathe out CO2, right? Carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is actually what makes us feel more calm. So when you're low in carbon dioxide, you get more anxious. Because carbon monoxide has the ability to calm excitatory neurons in the brain. So when you're having a nervous, like, reaction, or you're having panic, anxiety, your, your neurons are firing all over the place erratically. Carbon monoxide restores harmony and balance to excitatory neurons. Okay, it makes you feel more calm. Now, if you breathe all that CO2 out because you're hyperventilating, you don't feel calm. Because the last thing you want to be when a lion's about to attack you and eat you is calm, right? You want to be running away, you want to be fighting, you want to be defending yourself, right? You don't want to be chilled out like Zen. So that's why Evolution, what we had, this mechanism, right? When you have low CO2 and you have a fast breathing rate, your body is like, we are going into battle. But nowadays it's not desirable to have your adrenaline pumping all day long and being nervous and anxious all day long. It leads to a lot of different health issues. It can lead to constipation, serious constipation for a lot of people. It can lead to high blood pressure, it can lead to heart disease, it can lead to low oxygenation of your body tissue cells, meaning all the cells of your organs in your body. Because what else does CO2 do? CO2 is the mechanism that allows oxygen to come off your red blood cells and enter into body tissue cells. If you're— if you have too little CO2 because of hyperventilation, you get less oxygen to your organs, especially your brain. You get lightheaded, you don't feel very well, right? And then over time, that turns into disease. So people who are highly anxious and it's going on for long periods of time, they have really bad breathing habits. Usually they hyperventilate. It's called chronic mild hyperventilation. And they will suffer from, unfortunately, diseases more easily than those who have different breathing patterns. The cool thing with all of this is that once you're aware of this, the fix is so much easier, right? Awareness is key for this. Awareness is key, right? This is why, uh, coming on these sorts of webinars is super important, right? Because this is where you're going to learn stuff that you don't get taught at school. It should be taught at school, but we're just not taught at school, right? So who knows why, okay? Sometimes this knowledge is not there, but I'm bridging the gap. So first, tell me that you're following along. Like, just— I just want to make sure you're all getting what I'm saying here because We're going to be biology right now, so I want to make sure you're getting what I mean. Okay, and what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you a little video that kind of summarizes what I just said and makes it a bit more easy, because, you know, education should be fun, right? It shouldn't be so difficult, right? So I'm gonna just, um, um, make it fun with this little video.
Here's something strange.
So just bear with me, let's share my screen again. Little explainer to illustrate exactly what I'm saying, because you really need to get this point I'm making here. Okay, so put this on.
Oops.
Okay, hold on, sorry. Oops, one more one.
This one.
Okay, you ready? Let's watch this. Everyone can see this?
Yep, Buddha on the screen.
Here's something strange. The thing that calms your body down in seconds isn't more oxygen. It's a gas you were taught to throw away. That urge to breathe when you hold your breath isn't low oxygen. It's carbon dioxide rising, the master dial that sets your rhythm. And how sensitive you are to that dial decides everything. Why one person holds their breath calmly while another feels like they're drowning. Follow one breath. Oxygen boards your red blood cells easily, but getting it back off into your hungry cells is the hard part. The password that releases it is carbon dioxide. This is the Bohr effect. Carbon dioxide also widens your vessels, opening the roads for blood. So here's the paradox. Breathe too fast and you blow off carbon dioxide. Oxygen floods in, but your cells can't unlock it. Breathe shallow and fast for months and your body runs on low carbon dioxide. Now your alarm sits on a hair trigger. A small stress bumps it up, the alarm screams, you breathe harder, lose more carbon dioxide, feel worse. Panic isn't weakness, it's low tolerance. Here's the hopeful part: that alarm isn't fixed. It's a setting. And a setting is something you can slowly turn back down. Breath training teaches your body to fear carbon dioxide less. Gentle, slow breathing, soft pauses after the exhale where carbon dioxide safely rises. Behind it runs the vagus nerve, The wire between breath and calm. Breathe slowly and it flips your body into rest mode. Scientists even found the ideal speed, around 6 breaths a minute. Heart and breath fall into sync, and the long exhale leads the calm. Stanford tested it. 5 minutes a day of long exhale breathing beat meditation for mood. But who can count breaths while they're panicking? This is what Soma Breath solves. Set the breath to a beat and you don't count. You follow the music, building carbon dioxide tolerance. Reach that calm state and your body releases its own feel-good chemistry. Carbon dioxide was never your enemy. You hold the dial.
There we go. That makes sense. It's great, right? Simple way to understand it. So you have a setting for carbon dioxide because carbon dioxide is what tells you, your body, to inhale. The level of it. So some people, that level set, uh, too low, okay? And it can reduce when you get very stressed out over time from chronic over-breathing. So what that would mean is if you've got a very low setting, you, you, you, your body thinks you need to inhale much quicker than it needs to, and then you end up hyperventilating. But we can change that setting. We have a dial. We can, we can change that setting once we know how to turn that dial. Right, so I didn't know any of this stuff when I was younger. All right, I had— and I used to get panic attacks at university because I was so worried I was going to fail, um, my, my degree because I was out running massive raves and I'd neglected all my studies. And when it came to cramming, I was like, oh my God, I have got so much work to learn, like you know, how am I going to do all this? Somehow I got through it, but it gave me crazy panic attacks, that thumping feeling in your heart and like, you know, thinking you're gonna have a heart attack because of it, so on and so forth. And then you get into a spiral of negative thinking, anxious thinking, and boom, you're— a couple of times I had to go to A&E because I thought I was gonna have a heart attack. Anyone here ever got into that situation before? Intense panic from anxiety. Anyone here got that problem? Okay, so I didn't know this, right? I did not know this simple thing about CO2 being the thing that calms you down. Okay, I did not know this, um, and I didn't know that there was a trick of blowing in and out of a paper bag. I had no idea about this, uh, before I'd called the ambulance. And you know what the ambulance got me to do? When I was having one of these panic attacks, they got me to breathe in and out through a paper bag. And what was happening— they didn't tell me why it works because it seems weird, but now I know why it works. Now, now I understand. You're breathing back in your CO2. The carbon dioxide calms you down, panic goes down, right? There's another thing I didn't know as well, was that when you breathe in in, your heartbeat goes up a bit. When you breathe out, your heart rate goes down a bit. This is stuff I've learned since, that your breath is intimately linked to your heart rhythms. So if you breathe out longer than you breathe in, you turn on the parasympathetic nervous system, which is your calm state, your rest-digest mode, right? So when you combine this understanding together of CO2 being the thing that calms you down and breathing out longer than you breathe in, or even simply just breathing out with an extended exhale, you have a very instant solution to anxiety. Okay? And it can work as fast, if not better, than pills. So here's one thing you can do, like And I've— I've— there's not been the only time that I've, uh, you know, even in the last year I've had serious anxiety, okay, a couple of occasions, right, due to some personal issues that was happening. And this was like a really strange situation. I almost getting this like palpitations and I was very anxious. Because it'd been years I hadn't had it. So I knew straight away, all I need to do is breathe in, breathe out slowly, and then hold my breath for 4 seconds, and then repeat. In, out, hold for 4. So let's do this right now, and please, when I do this Try not to fall asleep because this, this technique makes you even more calm and more chill than, you know, being on a sleeping pill, right? So let's, let's do it together right now. I did this once at a conference and people started to fall asleep in the chair and then the rest of my talk was like messed up because no one was paying attention. So, um, please don't do that. Okay. So Everyone do it with me. So breathe in, in 2, out 2, 3, 4, hold 2, 3, 4. In 2, out 2, 3, 4, hold 2, 3, 4. In, 2, out, 2, 3, 4, hold, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, out, 2, 3, 4, hold, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, out, 2, 3, 4. Hold. 2, 3, 4. Come back to normal breathing and notice how you feel. What you just did there was you turned on your parasympathetic and you raised your CO2 levels and you became much more calm. And I see a few of you have fallen asleep. I told you, please don't fall asleep, but you've fallen asleep. I knew it. Amazing. I love it. See, it's amazing. So this works more effectively than medication. And I know, and I'm allowed to say this because I was a pharmacist, right? I have all the rights, all the context to say the breathing techniques like this work better than the medications, because the problem with the medications is once you're on them, you're hooked. You can't get off it, and it's really hard to get out of your system. All right, so I'm all for natural remedies for anxiety, right? I'm all for the natural remedies. Now you understand the ben— you know how this works, right? You now have the simple solutions available to you. Just change your breath, right? Change the way you breathe. And if you're somebody who does suffer from anxiety, like, often, right, and if it's a recurring thing, what you need to start doing is you need to start writing down your thoughts, okay? Because often what's going on is your mind is really frantic with many different ideas, thoughts, and that in itself, the overwhelmed mind can also create anxiety, right? And just turning on the news today can give you anxiety, right? Okay, yeah, that the one time I had a panic attack was in Dubai, right? I think I, I can be let off, right, from having one because there were missiles coming to, um, Dubai at that time. And, you know, I had a whole family with me and I had to get them out, but I remember this one night I was going to have a panic attack. The first night, right, I did this technique, slowed my breathing down with that method I just showed you. Then what I did was I held my breath, right, for like 30 seconds. Now, not all of you will be able to do it that long. I actually probably held it even longer, um, but you can just start with gradual— 4 seconds, 8 seconds, 12 seconds, right? And that's another way to start building up your CO2 levels, carbon dioxide. Okay, because that can also quickly turn off anxiety. All right, but we have to get to the source of why you're anxious in the first place to really fix it. So we actually train our coaches, so our breath instructors on a practice called neurosomatic programming, where we have the ability to really change your mind like a software programmer. Imagine that you're— you have a mind that's like an operating system, right? Um, we can— we have the ability to change that mind, okay? And it's amazing when you understand neurosomatic programming, okay? And I'll tell you a little bit about how it works, just so you get some context. But when you do these techniques that I just showed you with the rhythmic breathing, the music, okay, and you add in the extra layer dimension of the neuro-semantic programming, you can use the power of creative visualization to change the patterns in your thinking that have led you to becoming anxious in the first place. So often it's things in the past that are still bothering you that can bring it up. So those irrational anxieties we can deal with. Sometimes it's rational anxieties because you haven't paid your tax bills or you haven't, you know, met a deadline or you're having financial problems and all that. That needs more kind of coaching advice.. It needs, it needs kind of motivational coaching to help you just get that stuff done that you need to do to prevent the anxiety. Okay. You might need a business coach to help you with your business. You might need a life coach to help you with your relationship. Your relationship's making you anxious. But in Soma Breath, we, we have transformational coaches who are amazing at dealing with a lot of the irrational fears and anxieties that we often have that have been built up as bad programming. In our operating system. And that's what the Transformal Coaches are brilliant at doing, right? Dealing with that. But we also have incredible coaches in Soma Breath who have used Soma Breath as a modality to enhance their existing coaching practice. So in our community, in Soma Breath, you'll find business coaches, you'll find amazing life coaches, relationship coaches, health fitness coaches, all kinds of different coaches who use Soma Breath as well as part of their repertoire. So if you go to samurabreath.com, go to find an instructor, you'll find a directory of our coaches. But I just want to— we want to keep doing a bit more breathwork, right? Who wants to do a bit more breathwork? Anyone else?
Yep.
We're going to try something now. I'm hoping this works. One second. I want to try see if this works. Yes. Okay, watch this. I'm going to give you a little teaser of our new Soma Breath app that's coming out anytime, right? Because this is going to make things really easy for you to use in the moment, right? And as a way to even get to sleep, have more energy, relax, and so on. Okay, so have a look at this. You see this?
Yep.
And everybody see the screen with, um, Breathe at the top? Yes. Okay, so I'm just going to give you a little demo of this. Okay, so we have different sessions here. Calm down. I'm going to put down calm down, and we're going to do a little box breathing session with this. Okay, so if you see this, we have— this is a demo of our new app that's coming out. This is the Breathe Room.
Okay.
In the Breathe Room, you can customize your patterns that you want.
Okay.
This is on the brand new app. It's going to come out in the next week or so. So I just want to give you a little taste of what you're going to have access to. If you download the Soma Breath app now, you'll be first in line for when this is launched.
Okay.
So I've clicked on Calm Down. All right. So imagine you are feeling anxious. You want to calm down. You can choose how many cycles do we want. Let's go with 10, right? We'll go with 10 cycles for now. Okay, so it's going to last 2 minutes 40 seconds, it says on the Start Breathing. So I'm going to hit Start Breathing and you're going to follow along with it. I'm just going to pause it for now and then we're all going to do it. So get ready, sit down, find a comfortable place. So you can all do this together with me. Okay, I'm going through the videos to see who's still asleep, and it's like quite a few of you fall asleep. Amazing. Okay, so we're going to carry on. So I'm going to press play now, and you're going to just follow along with the counting. Okay, you can also use the visuals if you want to use the visuals. You can also look, look at the visuals that are on the, on the screen too, because it's going to be like a breath pacer you can follow along with. Otherwise, just listen to the guide instructions. Same thing again, when I say in and I count a rhythm, you breathe in for that rhythm. When I say hold, you hold for that rhythm. When I say out, you hold, and so on and so forth. This just makes doing breathwork so much easier.
Boom!
2, 3, 4, hold. 2, 3, 4, out. 2, 3, 4, hold. 2, 3, 4, in. 2, 3, 4, hold. 2, 3, 4, out. 2, 3, 4, hold. 2, 3, 4, in. 2, 3, 4, hold. 2, 3, 4, out. 2, 3, 4, hold. 2, 3, 4, in. 2, 3, 4, hold, 2, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4, hold, 2, 3, 4, in, 2, 3, 4, hold, 2, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4. Hold 2-3-4. In 2-3-4. Hold 2-3-4 out. 2-3-4 hold. 2-3-4 in. 2-3-4 hold. 2— 3, 4. Out. 2, 3, 4. Hold. 2, 3, 4. In. 2, 3, 4.
Hold.
2, 3, 4. Out. 2, 3, 4.
Hold.
2, 3, 4.
In 2-3-4 hold—
2-3-4 out—
2-3-4 hold—
2-3-4 in— 2-3-4 hold— 2-3-4 out— 2- 3, 4, hold. 2, 3, 4, finish.
There we go. How did that feel? Just checking with everybody. How did that feel? Feel nice? Was it easier to do than the, the, the previous one I showed you? So stop this share. That was just 2 and a half minutes. Much easier. Okay, the first one were better for me. So this is why it's— all of you have different opinions, right? So, um, Well, we have different voices. Let me show you the different one. Somebody mentioned about the voice. You have different voices. I'll show you quickly the different voices that you have. Let's do another couple of rounds. So, 4.
Oops.
Niraj Naik voice. 4. Hold. 2, 3. 4. In 2, 3, 4. Hold 2, 3, 4. My favorite is Natalie.
2, 3, 4.
Hold 2, 3, 4. In 2, 3, 4.
Hold 2, 3, 4.
That's my favorite one. Anyway, you get the idea. So we have different voices. So if you don't like Theo's deep voice, you like my voice more, you can use that, or a feminine voice. We have female voices too. So we have a bunch of different voices for you to choose, all right, which is great feedback. Thank you so much. All right, now the cool thing is, say some of you prefer a slower rhythm, 4 counts, or sorry, 8 counts, right, or 6 counts even. You can customize all of this. That's why this is so cool, right? You can change the pattern. You can, you can add any rhythm or pattern that you want, right? How good is that?
Okay, good.
We're all, uh, in agreement Natalie's voice is best. Okay, um, but see how good is that, right? You can change the pattern. Now, some of everyone— and that's why it's so important to have a variety of tools. That's the thing with Summer Breath. We teach you many techniques, but the best ones, the ones that are actually scientifically validated, that I've personally tried and tested with myself. And now hundreds of thousands of people have done Summer Breath, and we've put together the best techniques together for the Summer Breath app. So you can also customize and choose the ones that work best for you. The problem with other places is that You know, usually it's just one technique and that one technique, like say it's Holotropic or rebirthing, ain't going to do much, right, for an anxiety attack. There's different breathing techniques for dealing with anxiety. In fact, if you suddenly go and do a rebirthing session when you're feeling anxious, you're going to get even more anxious. And people do this. They make this mistake over and over again. They go to a, a a big breathwork trauma emotional release class when they're having anxiety attacks, thinking that's going to solve it, because that's kind of how it's been marketed. But if your nervous system's already dysregulated, the last thing you want to do is go to a class that further dysregulates your nervous system through hyperventilation. You need a different technique to bring yourself into restoration and balance. Harmony, regulation, and then you can go to classes like that. So in Summer Breath, we're all about giving you the right background, the science, the knowledge, the understanding of how your body works, your physiology, um, and then different techniques you can use to customize for yourself, personalize it. Then once you're really fit and healthy and, and back into your full power you can go and do these advanced breath practices. You can deal with trauma that may have been stored in your body for years with the right advanced practice, but don't do it when your body's dysregulated. It's going to throw you off. Anyone here agree with what I'm saying here, that where sometimes you've gone to a class, maybe it's happened to you, where you've been a bit nervous, anxious, and then you've gone and done this very intense breathwork practice with somebody, and then you've just felt even worse. Anyone else done that before? Yes, yes. And maybe one of the reasons you came to Summer Breath is because of our slower methods and also the, the fact we have a variety of different techniques. It's more like a pharmacy, right? So that's, that's what breathwork's about. There's no one technique that solves all problems. You need a variety of techniques. So I've been really working hard behind the scenes. The Summer Breath app's gonna come out very soon, right? We're just in the final processes of just fixing it, but it's so cool, the things you can do on this app, right? It's really cool already what you can do. So, um, what I want to do is leave you with one session that you can try right now, okay? We're gonna do 2 more techniques actually, and then we're gonna move into— you can ask me questions and we can do a bit of a Q&A for the final part. So, um, someone says, I was okay in advanced space, but a few people had massive panic attacks, which was scary. See, so I'm saying— and someone says, yes, uh, was annoying. Yep, brilliant. And a lot of you, I think, love the slow method, right? Slow rhythmic breathing. We have a lot of slow rhythmic breathing tracks. What we also like to do is humming, okay? Humming, AUMing. So AUM is just a tone. It's a sound with 3 syllables: A, U, M. So you may have heard AUM before at yoga class, okay? And you may be wondering, what does it actually mean?
Why?
'Why do I, you know, what is this, some religious thing?' Actually, it's a science. It's a sound that vibrates your physiology in different areas. The 'ah' sound, 'ah,' vibrates the lower Dan Tien, the lower half of your body. The 'oo' in Om, 'oo,' vibrates the heart. The 'hum,' the 'mm' sound vibrates the third eye up here. Okay. Now, if you're going to— if you've got panic attack, one of the— another ways you can deal with it is just to hum or even sing with long notes. So if you're feeling anxious and you're just not feeling very centered, quick way to turn on your parasympathetic and to raise your CO2, and that's fun, is humming. So let's all do some humming together. Okay. So breathe in fully in and then just repeat after me.
Aah.
Okay, now we're gonna do 'oo' into the heart. Breathe in. And now up here, 'hum.' OK, now let's put all 3 together. Ah, oo, and mm in one tap sound. Breathe in. Ah, oo, mm.
Aum.
And now we're gonna do it all together with music, okay? Because I know you love the music. Let's do this. Oh, why is the sound not playing now? Sorry, I've got to just get the track to play again.
Niraj Naik Naik, I do have it queued if you'd like me to play it.
Um, you've got that particular track?
Yes, the 9-minute one.
Okay, let's do that.
Okay, standby.
We'll just do it for 4 minutes. You can fade it out afterwards. So just follow the rhythm. We'll do it together. So breathe in. fully. Okay, coming back down. Fade it out. Just a quick demo of that session, just to see how you felt with that one. Feel good? So what you're doing there is you're breathing in for 4 beats, ah for 4 beats, ooh for 4 beats, hum. For 4 beats continuous. So it's extended exhalation, right? It's slowing your breathing rate down, raising carbon dioxide, turning on your parasympathetic. Feels really good, calms you down, right? And it also produces nitric oxide, the, the miracle molecule for your body. Vasodilator, bronchodilator, it's antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, has many different benefits for the body. All right. So yeah, and you can feel the vibration, the 'ah', you feel it down here, right in the lower part. The 'ooh', you feel it here in the heart. The 'mm'. Yeah, let me know if you felt those vibrations in the comments. If you felt different areas of your body vibrating. See, these yogis weren't just doing some wishy-washy stuff. They just understood sound, tone, vibration. And the endocrine system. Think of the chakra system as actually endocrine glands. Endocrine glands are a bit of biology. The endocrine glands are what produce hormones in the body. All right. And we have the creative glands at the bottom, the lower half, the sex, the digestion. That's the R sound. And what's the god of creation in Hinduism? Brahma. Brahma is just a metaphor. The gods in India, gods in the yoga, in Hinduism are just metaphors, right? People took it too literally, but they're actually just metaphors. They're coded language for biology and your inner technology. That's what these gods are. Brahma is the sound that vibrates your creative glands. Vishnu, Vishnu. That sound "oo" is your preserving glands, thymus gland and your heart. "Hoo." They are— Vishnu is known as the god of preservation, right? It's the preserver. Okay, Brahma is the creator, Vishnu is the preserver. And so is your heart and your thymus gland, your immune system. And then Shivam, "mm." Hum, that mm sound vibrates up here. Hum, you feel it instantly. Right? That's the God of Shivam consciousness. Okay. And this is your connection to Source, Shivam. Okay. And yeah, so there you go. Right? It's like the coded language. It's the coded language. Okay. I've just given it to you right now. So what we do in Soma Breath as well, I try and decode mystical tradition. Because the knowledge is there, they just had to find a way to pass it down generationally, generationally, so it didn't get forgotten. Right? And the way they did it was through storytelling. Then over time, over lots of generations of storytelling, you know, obviously people start to lose the context of the original meaning, and then it turns into like idol worship or just like, you know, fiction. Okay, but this is science. It's science, it's coded. And I've been very fortunate, I've studied in India with amazing scientists, a medical doctor, Prakash Marsh, who is my co-creator of the curriculum of Soma Breath. And he's decodified the sutras into what it's supposed to mean from a medical perspective. And when I looked at this, I was like, actually, this all makes sense, right? This makes sense both on a religious context, but also on a biological and medical. So it's just coded language, all this stuff is. And in Summer Breath, we're just decoding it for you. We're making it easy and we're putting music to it and it's making the whole method so much more easy to do as well. Yes, it's amazing how this stuff develops, isn't it? Okay, so now, um, let me know if this was useful. Was this session today useful? Are you going to go away and use some of this stuff? Let me know if this was useful. Yes, beautiful, fantastic. So I'm so glad to be of service, um, and this is now kind of, kind of wrapping up, uh, the session here, but I want to open up now a bit of Q&A. It's always good to get some feedback Uh, thank you for your wonderful feedback and comments. Um, you like the science and the biology? Beautiful, great. Did you like the videos? I'm going to do more of those animated videos, just makes it so much easier. Um, fantastic. Okay, so if anyone wants to ask a question, feel free, put your hand up. There we go, we've got Tammy, first one. Let's go straight into it. Hello.
Hi, can you hear me?
Yeah.
Can you hear me now?
Yes.
Okay, hi, thank you.
Hi.
I enjoyed it very much. I learned new things even though I'm instructor already, and it's very useful because there is a lot of anxiety in my country, in Israel, as you know.
Correct.
So That's very, very helpful, especially on the sessions one-on-one. So I learned new things today. I have a question about holding the breath when people are going through chemotherapy, meaning they're having cancer. And can they hold the breath, or it's good that they will do just the rhythmic breathing? If can—
Yeah, they can.
The regular way?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you can do, because it's not going to affect the cancer in a negative way, right? It's going to increase blood flow to those areas. It really depends on how easy they can breathe and hold their breath in the first place. If there's terminal stage—
This particular woman, she's starting doing the breathwork with me before she had chemo. She had chemo 2 weeks ago the first time, so she already worked it with holding the breath pretty good. But I wonder, I wondered if it's safe to just to do the whole thing and to do maybe on the 4-8 or 4, just to get balanced with the sympathetic and parasympathetic. So both of these, can she do?
Yeah.
4, or that's too stressful?
No, it's fine. You can just work out, like, based on how she feels.
And now when you did the 4 in, hold 4, 4 out, hold 4, that's— first of all, it's new to me. I didn't know that. And I was wondering if this could be a good one.
Very good one.
Going through, you know, nausea and the body's—
Yes.
You know, constricted, and you know. So is that—
Definitely, definitely, that's called box breathing. It's called box breathing.
So, in BIG, I can find it?
Yeah, we have box breathing tracks in BIG. We have box breathing tracks in BIG as well. Yeah.
Okay, good. I want to thank you very much. And I want to say that to those who are new, this is one of the best things I've done for myself in the last few years, is to do the somatics. I do a lot of things, and this is easy, and this is— it works like magic. I do a lot of things in the spiritual work as a spiritual teacher for many decades, and some of Whole bread is a magic. It's simple. I practice it every day. It gets better in nature. It gets even better. It's worth to give it a try.
Thank you so much, Tammy. And just for context, Tammy has spent the last year, I think, in, um, in the bunkers, right?
Yeah, on and off.
I live in Israel, so when the Iranian shoot, we go to the bunker. And you can continue end of the story.
So yeah, so the anxiety levels there are off the charts. I had a very small dose of it when I was in Dubai, and you there are probably getting it on a level that is very hard for most people to comprehend, the anxiety.
It's good to say, Niraj Naik Naik, that I used somabreath in the bunker to calm myself because the bombs were falling 400 meters from my house. I mean, Iranian, it was not like a little shooting. And of course we run to the bunkers that like 10 times a day. And I used the Somabreath because nobody saw what I was doing and I was just, you know, with myself and I was able to calm down. And I safely can say that it made the area around me very my home as well. It's magic. It's magic. You decode it. No, seriously. And I do many things and I've studied many healing techniques. They work, you know, opening chakras and everything, and they're all good. But this is at the tip of your finger and you can help yourself, you can help your kids, you can help people around you. And it's, uh, I just, just want to say thank you to you personally. Of course, to everybody— Monica, Jason, everybody— Claudia, my teacher, and Piotr, everybody. But it's mainly for you, for going through this journey of hell, to give us this breath, as simple as it sounds, to be able to breathe.
Thank you so much for sharing. Thank you so much for sharing, Tammy. I really appreciate it.
Thank you also.
Yeah, so much. You're amazing. Thank you.
Thank you.
Keep up the good work there. A lot of people need it. There's a lot of innocent people stuck in this mess and they don't need to be. Yeah, I hope you get out of it.
Exactly, I agree.
A lot of innocent people. So thank you so much.
Yes, thank you. Much love. Bye-bye. Much love.
Peace. Uh, Julia, welcome. Wow.
Yeah, that was amazing. Um, thank you for— yeah, thank you for taking my, uh, question. I've come across a trauma specialist, Eric Gentry, and he says he doesn't teach his trauma clients anything other than self-regulation as the very first thing. And he's recommending to do a check-in with ourselves every 5 minutes. Because especially if we have trauma, we're constantly kicking off our amygdala. And I wondered, as you deepen into helping people see mini breathwork experiences, what your thoughts are about how often we could or should do that.
What do you mean by check in with yourself?
Yeah, thanks for asking. I guess I do this myself. It could be every half hour or something, just regulate my breathing. It could be, you know, just conscious breath, I guess, is what I'm saying by check-in, consciously checking in with myself and modulating my breath.
Yeah. Well, here's the thing. Like, you want to make it almost like habitual. So the key things—
exactly—
is it's really hard to hyperventilate if you're— if you breathe through your nose. Right, that's a key thing. So that's all you really need to just try and do as much as possible is nose, nose breathing. Your body will take care of itself. Right now, other things are you've got to look at what are the triggers for hyperventilation. For some people, it's that if they're in a job where they're talking for long periods of time, that can lead to hyperventilation. People get lightheaded and anxious. Just from talking too much, right? Because you breathe out a lot of CO2 when you're talking, talking, talking. So depending on what you're doing during the day, you can find ways to, you know, check in with, like, you're making sure you're nasal breathing, or having a break from talking for a bit, you know, 1-minute meditation break, for example. If you speak for like 20 minutes in a row, So it really depends on what you're doing in a day, and try and focus on nasal breathing, make that habitual. And then what will happen is when you understand, you know, that slower breathing is all you really need to be healthy and calm, and that your breath is a mirror of your mind. So when you find your breath, your thoughts get a bit frantic, if you just calm your mind instead of taking a deep breath, as people say, which actually is going to probably get rid of too much CO2. You just slow your breath down or even hold, pause your breath for a moment on the exhale, but just nasally. This will start becoming habitual. What you'll find is when you start to feel a bit anxious, then before it really kicks off, you'll find you'll naturally start to slow your breathing down. And actually just meditating can be quite a powerful way when you understand meditation. So meditation is simply the art of moving your awareness away from your speaking part of the mind, the verbal, it's called the default mode network, to something other than that. So one way is just breath meditation. Just tune your awareness to your breathing and just observe the breath. And start to just observe the breath, and any thoughts that come into your mind, imagine you can just gently push them to one side and become more present with the breath. And that alone is just the quickest way to regulate yourself, to get yourself back into balance.
Yeah, yeah, beautiful, Niraj Naik. I'm just thinking that this idea Eric Gentry teaches is like, if we can, every 5 minutes. I've never achieved that, but I like the idea of the habituation, which is something I do try to do. So thank you.
I think every 5 minutes, like, is unrealistic for most people. And what also means people get more anxious wondering if they did that 5 minutes or not, you know. So I think it just needs to be, yeah, you need to not look at kind of strict protocols and just look at yourself. What you know, people know when they're feeling dysregulated, they know it. And that's the time when you need to just do a little practice. But other than that, life's about having fun. It's not about checking in with yourself all the time. So having fun.
I love that.
Yeah, I agree. Thank you. Cool.
Thank you.
Nice.
Okay. Can your app give notifications? A simple reminder to do conscious breath every hour? Yes. It has a whole calendar system on it. It has a whole schedule. It's so cool. I can't wait for this to come out. I'm so excited about it, but it's a bit of a tease right now because, um, we're still just finishing it. But let me just give you a little demo, little demo of the schedule system. Hopefully this works so you can see. And if anyone else has any questions, feel free to ask, but I think we're going to wrap up soon, so let's just trying to just get my phone to connect. Um, so it does have a calendar system. All right, if I can get this to work. One second, some reason now the connection's not working on my phone. Oh, here we go. Now it is. Okay. Nope, okay, it's not showing on my computer anymore for some reason. Sod's law. So if I can get it to work— if anyone else has any more questions, feel free to ask and I'll try and get this, um, but to answer your question, yes, We do have a schedule system, so you can put any reminders, you can build your daily practice with it, and so on and so forth. You'll also be able to find instructors near you, find a class. There's a whole find instructor library directory where it's like a bit like Uber, so you can find the nearest instructor to you in your location, so on and so forth. It's very, very cool.
Niraj Naik, I thought I'd bring up a question. The person didn't raise their hand, but they asked a great question, which is around what if— what do you do in the case that someone is not aware of their own dysregulation? Like, is there— are there cases that someone needs to become more sensitive to their own body?
Okay. I believe that everyone, everyone is aware, right? And sometimes what happens is they, they, they just have stopped listening to their own feelings. Because you feel it, it's something you feel. Dysregulation is something you feel. It's quite easy to, unless your whole life has been one of just feeling dysregulated, you've forgotten what, like, normal feels like. And maybe your new normal is dysregulated. And then so you can't tell the difference. There's different grades of disregulation for some people. But most people, they know the difference between when they're calm and when they're stressed. Just if you just check in with yourself, you'll feel it. It's— you get the symptoms. You feel tension in your chest. You, um, will see it in your breath. You won't be as slow, it will speed up. You might feel your heart starts to beat, you start to hear your palpitations, right? But most people will feel it internally in their mind, the voice, the voice in their heads starts to get loud, right? They hear this negative self-talk going around and it could be fearful, right? And anxious. So, um, okay, so here's somebody's, uh, something to say about that. I've lived in fight and flight with complex PTSD. I have no idea what safe feels like, so I'm not one of those who feel it easily. Yeah, so that's what I'm saying. In some extreme cases, some people, that's their norm, is feeling— is dysregulation, and it's hard to tell the difference. But for most people they know the difference, right? So in this situation, like, you've got to use your breath as a measure. The breath tells us a lot. Calm mind, calm breath. Erratic mind, erratic breath, usually. Okay? And if you train yourself— so there's one course I want to, like, direct you to on our app which is the, um, the Breathworks Challenge. So I highly recommend if everyone does that, right, you'll get, um, really, um, a great background on everything I've talked about and extra techniques and practices you can do to build a real strong understanding of, of the breath your physiology, breathing patterns, what's healthy breathing, unhealthy breathing. And then you'll also go away with a morning routine you practice every day. And I reckon if everyone does that, like, when you've optimized your breath, your CO2 levels, you can get rid of a lot of issues. Even chronic trauma can be resolved when you start to correct your breathing patterns, because often trauma leads to hyperventilation., and it means you're breathing much faster than you need to often, and you have less CO2 than you should. So you've been running on low CO2 for too long, right? So that is something you can— that can fix it. The Breathworks Challenge. All right. Check it out.
Now, one thing I wanted to direct everybody towards is for anybody who's curious about the app that Niraj Naik has mentioned, We are working behind the scenes to make sure that that gets updated. But if you don't currently have the Soma Breath app, it's a really good opportunity to get it now because the moment that the new app comes, it's going to replace your existing app and you'll automatically get that upgrade. And for those of you who have paid for your membership, know that you're going to be grandfathered in at your current price point to make sure that you keep all of the extra benefits that come in at the existing price that you're paying. And I would give a heads up for anybody who's on the app and wants to unlock all the tracks, all the additional features, know that you can upgrade at any time. And if you do it now, you're still locking in the price on the current app before the big upgrade comes in. So definitely check that out. And Monica just went ahead and posted a link where you can get the app, uh, discover everything that's been shared. And the breathwork challenge that Niraj Naik is mentioning right now can be found on that app as well, will be a part of the new app also. So just making sure that clarification is in place.
Yeah. Um, right.
I think there's one more question, I think, before we wrap up that I think is very relevant. Uh, and again, I think your breathwork challenge answered this. Uh, Yuriko was asking about the Soma Breath. Does it help only in nervous system and anxiety, or can it help with other issues such as stomach, throat, migraine, better sleep? I can answer on the migraine front, and yes, But anything else to add to that?
Well, see, if you go, you actually get this on the current app. If you go into the Breath Farmer section, there's a section called Breath Farmer, right? You'll find it in the categories. There's one which is called Breath Farmer. You click on that and you'll find there's all these different techniques like cooling down on a hot day. Right? Rest and digestion, training you to have a longer breath hold, boosting nitric oxide, unblocking your nose, clearing constipation. Um, uh, yeah, there's— I'm getting energy, more energy, releasing negative emotions, calming anxiety. But here's a great one: healthy gut, right? So this technique, Kati Mudra, actually will help you have a natural way to cleanse the gut by drinking air. It's a secret yogic technique I learned up in the Himalayas, and it really works like magic. And there's a science of why it works, and I explain that in the, in that course. But then there's also the Leaky Gut Protocol, right? And the Leaky Gut Protocol is exactly what I use to heal myself of chronic autoimmune disease that affected my gut called ulcerative colitis.. So it's the entire protocol plus the breathing techniques I use, everything on the app, right? And now you can get that on our current app. It's in the Breath Pharma section, okay? Breath Pharma. So not Big Pharma, Breath Pharma, okay? There you go. And just to show you, there's a schedule here, all right? Daily practice. You can set up your routine: morning, daytime, nighttime. Right? You can build your practice, customize your practice. And what I love here is the vibe selector, so you can choose a session based on how you feel. So you just do a score, goes all the way to 11. So say you're feeling vibrant, hit continue. But maybe you're fearful, hit fear. Where do you want to take me? Um, I want to, you know, maybe help me sleep. It should give you a session. If I say I've only got 5 to 10 minutes, right, hit that. I want to do breathwork.
Boom.
Find a session. Gives you a practice. There you go. Breath of Life. All right. So this is a cool way to navigate our app that's coming very soon. So as Jason said, test out— sorry, download the current app, start using that, get used to that, and then this app will replace that one. And it's so much better, this one, and you'll get access to it. You'll be one of the first people to use it when it's out. All right, and also this room here, the Global Coherence Room, allows you to— it will tell you who's breathing with you at the same time, everyone in that room, and you'll all be breathing in perfect sync with everyone around the world. So it's like a world group meditation. Everyone's breathing in a perfect rhythm., and you can then chat with the people in the community as well. That's coming as a next feature later on, but just to give you some heads up on what we built here. And obviously here, find a class, it's a great one for— at the moment it's to our website, but we actually have built this into— we need to get all of you instructors who are watching this to list your classes and put your profiles up, then we can launch that feature on the app where it's a special directory that works like Uber where you can find instructors near you, both their online sessions, offline, their retreats they're running, the types of services they're doing, and so on and so forth. All right, so we've made a proper find instructor page. Right now it's just going to link to the one on our, our website, but later it's going to be— once all of our amazing instructors and coaches have put all their profiles up. You're going to have access to all of our incredible instructors around the world, and they can come and help you do some real amazing stuff. There we go. All right. So I think this, um, wraps things up. And, you know, usually on these calls, there are 3 different types of people. Who come on them. There's the ones who just wanted to learn about anxiety and regulation— how do we regulate, right? Um, and then there's those who actually are like wanting to, uh, learn how to share this practice with others and maybe bring it into their existing modality and build a career out of this. And then there's the, the third group, which is both, like the ones who are here to learn of anxiety how to deal with it, but also are like very interested now on becoming instructors. So for those of you, uh, you can stay back. We're going to go a bit deeper into all of that and ask you a bit more questions if you want to stay. But for everyone else, I think it's been an amazing call. I hope you learned a lot of stuff. Somebody asked about the video, can you get access to it? Those videos will be going on our app. There'll be learning videos inside our app. I'm I— that was brand new, just produced it. So, um, bear with me on me finishing that, uh, and a few more like that for our series of teaching videos. All right, fantastic.
Awesome. Well, Niraj, first off, I just want to say a big thank you for the time, the wisdom, the energy, and all the practice. And, uh, I want to just do a call out with everybody here. I mean, we've learned a lot of different breath techniques, and there was a lot of different things that were taught What is the one thing that you've been able to learn and you plan to use regularly from what we've discovered today? I'm going to keep a monitor on the chat. I'm actually going to share my screen. If you had to pick one thing only, I know there's a ton that we discovered. What's the one that's sticking with you? Go ahead and put that into the chat so we can make sure that we didn't just come here to learn and then walk away from these, is that we're actually going to get something we get to apply. So again, I'm going to look at the comments here. What is something that you plan to take? The one nugget out of everything that we did today that you're like, yes, this is the tool I'm going to use, this is what's going to actually help me with my anxiety, to help me with regulating my nervous system. Is it the box breathing? Is it the sessions with the longer breath counts? Is it the CO2 awareness? And so the humming, I see the humming is what's coming up. The AOM, love it. Yep, yep. The 4, the box breathing. So Tammy's using box breathing. Factory, yeah, mastery of CO2, holding the breath longer, the CO2 count. Fantastic. Look, we covered a lot of different things, and the key thing is that we want you all to be able to use that. A quick action for everyone as well to be able to stay up to date: again, get the app. We're putting a link into the chat right now. In the app, you'll be able to stay up to date, build that practice, and the new update is coming so soon. You'll be the first ones to find out about it as soon as it does come out. And then, uh, we started with something very different. We had a state, we were sitting at a 6.5, and now that we've done all these different exercises, I'm going to reset the results. Uh, actually, first I'm going to take a picture because we always like to measure how things were before and after. And now that we've reset the score Now I will ask you to rate how are you feeling right now from a scale of 1 to 10 using only the whole numbers, 1 till 10. And let's just see, have we made an impact? Have we shifted things? Have the tools been able to allow you to make a shift to your biology? And this is truly where we feel very proud about the work that we do as people working within the Soma Breath Team, as the instructors who do these with people all the time in person, we get to see the direct impact of the work that we do. So we're glad that you got a chance to join us. Use a lot of these methods and be able to shift your state in the process. Uh, this is truly, truly magical. And I send this to the team and we all get excited when we get to share these results with the entire team. And so I'm going to capture this as well. And as we mentioned, this was the core learning that we wanted to teach for everyone. What I wanted to ask, if it's okay with everyone, is I would love to spend the next few minutes to share more about our instructor trainings, How does it work and how could it be getting started for anyone who's curious about that? Is that okay with everyone? Give me a 1 in the chat, just a 1 to say— ooh, fireworks came up. That's always a nice surprise. Just type in 1 if I have your permission to introduce the programs. I'll take about 10-15 minutes here to share the majority of what you need to know if you're considering this path. And I'm going to ask you to use a different— now we're going to move away from numbers. I'll ask A or B. If you know that this is something you're considering, you've been wanting to become a facilitator, a breathwork instructor, type in A in the chat. And if it's something you're just thinking about, you're just curious about it, type in B. So we know exactly who are the people here and the relevant information I should be considering. And one of the key things to note is we have over 4,000 instructors worldwide. And the fact is there's still so many people who are looking to get into breathwork. I mean, you saw the start of the call, over 40% of the people who are here are brand new to Soma Breathwork. They're very new to breathwork, and that might be yourself. And you've gone to experience all the different techniques we have here at Soma Breath, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. There's so much more that we do with our instructors, and we need the help of our instructors to get the word out, to be able to heal the people, get to reach them. And we see two major camps of people that usually come to us is one, if you're in your current lifestyle, you're looking to make a career change, maybe what you're doing right now isn't really aligning with your purpose, and you're trying to get into work that's fun to do, makes a real difference, and can actually provide for you financially, to finally let go of perhaps the kind of work that just isn't filling the soul in the same place. That is a core amount of people that do join Soma Breath and become very successful as instructors. If you've joined some of our previous sessions, you've seen instructors such as Lisa Moley, who's out in Dubai, who was working in hospitality, was drained, and made a complete career shift and was able to quit her job and go full-time as a Soma Breath instructor, where she is focused on running group classes and truly being able to sustain an income, do something she's passionate about, and continue to grow in the process. We have instructors such as Monica, who's out in Poland. She's now going to be creating certification retreats for people as well. She's been blowing up her brand, charging a premium above all other breath instructors in Poland because she teaches the Soma Breath methodology. And so for people who are making that kind of career shift, it's a very powerful methodology because we teach you everything you need to know so that you can lead powerful breath journeys where people walk away going, oh my God, this was one of the most powerful things I've ever experienced in my life. If this is sounding a lot with what are the things you're trying to do, type in me in the chat so I know that there's some of you who are at that point, and I'll keep giving a few more details about that later on. But there's probably a very different group of people where you might be already a lightworker, you might be already a transformational coach or a life coach, uh, maybe you're working in a holistic practice doing either massage, perhaps yoga instructor. And I'll speak to the coaches particularly, is a big, big problem that exists is I have a feeling that the majority of you are excellent at your craft. You can help people when you work with them one-on-one but the biggest struggle is how do I get people to come through the door to discover that I can do amazing work with them? I mean, for a lot of people who come into our ecosystem, the scariest part is, well, how do I get customers to come to me to pay me what I'm worth with the tools that I have? And what we do here at Soma Breath is not just teach you about how to do excellent on leading breathwork sessions, but we teach so much around how to be successful in your holistic practice. Breathwork is the new meditation. If anybody was getting into meditation, say, 20, 30 years ago, there wasn't that many people who were doing it. And some people were thinking, oh, meditation, what's that? Is that what monks do in, in, in, in the Himalayas? And there's, there's not many people doing it. Yet today, most people have experienced meditation. They know what it is, and it's become something that everyone's quite familiar with. Breathwork is going through a very similar cycle as what meditation was going through maybe 20 years ago. All the studies that have been published and that are being published with, of course, Cambridge University being one of the key places that have studied the methodology we do here at Soma Breath, looking into its effects that it's had on healing, the effects that it had on trauma work. And so there's continuously more research, and Soma Breath is at the pinnacle where we're at the forefront to make sure that we're bringing this suite of techniques and giving it into the hands of our people and our instructors. So you, as someone who's going out as an instructor, have the cutting-edge technology, and you will have something that is attracting people towards your practice. See, a lot of our instructors are now traveling the world, and what do they do? They post up their breathwork events that are coming up in the town they're about to visit and throwing it on something like Eventbrite, and then people come to them. For those who are looking at building up their practice, knowing that you have a tool like breathwork, and more powerfully Soma Breath means that you can start teaching regular classes, and as the people come to you, it starts supporting your core business as well. Is this making sense? If you guys are still with me, type in "makes sense." And really what I want to walk you through are some of the key things to consider if you want to become a Soma Breath instructor. First thing is, to be able to do so, you go through a short application form, and I'll ask Monica to post the application form so you guys can get started with that process even as I'm speaking about it. And so we want to walk you through the fact that, look, if you want to become a Soma Breath instructor, it's not just about becoming an instructor, it's about how do you become successful as a Soma Breath instructor. And a lot of what we do is putting the love and the energy into making sure you have the tools so that when somebody invites you to a retreat to deliver a breathwork ceremony that they walk away with saying, wow, this was the single best and most important event that I got my attendees to go through. Or maybe you start running your own retreats and you realize that one of the key components of your retreats is you doing the breathwork. And so again, we have two different pathways that people usually go through, whether they're trying to become an advanced instructor or a transformational coach. To know which path is right for you is something that you'll get a chance to get on a vision and Flow Call where we want to understand what are your goals, what is your passion, where is your heart at, so that we can put you on the right path that makes sense for what you're looking to achieve. Are you looking to work with people one-on-one? Are you looking to lead giant retreats? Are you looking to do some simple techniques maybe in the gyms? Or are you really trying to do full, full-on trauma healing types of breathwork sessions with the most advanced techniques that are out there?. We have a pathway for you, but the why behind what you want to create as a Soma Breath instructor becomes the single most important things that make you successful as a Soma Breath instructor. So we have a few questions we want to ask about why you're looking to do this. You'll get on a call with one of our team members who are going to ask you these questions. We want to get to know you, and from there we'll be able to tell you exactly what is the right pathway for you. We teach you a lot of different things, and the key things you have to know is we teach you How to actually facilitate a session from the moment people walk into the room to the moment that they leave the room. How does that protocol look like so that you know you're delivering something at top-shelf quality? We talk about how to say the right words while you're leading a journey, how to use the tools that we give you, the music, the counting, what kind of breath rhythms you need to do for the types of effects you want to create in people, and how to actually guide the session. We teach you how to guide these very powerful sessions in the process.. If you want to learn to record your own voice, to publish your own tracks using some of our music, using some of your own voice, we have ways of teaching you that. And a whole suite of tools to make you a holistic transformational coach when it comes to going beyond the breath, we also have that available. So the entire modules, depending on which pathway you take, you're going to be in good hands so that you walk away from this certification as a professional. You're wondering how many hours it could take? Depending on the pathway, it can take 45 hours, 120 hours to go through the various modules. But I will say this, if you're somebody who's looking to get this done fast, you can do that within our program because there's a self-paced module and one-on-one calls that you get to book on your time so that you can pass the various levels on your schedule. And there's very much two types of people that are coming through as our Summer Breath program. Some that are like, I want to start hosting my first class start generating a new stream of income within a month. If you are hungry and motivated, you can walk down that path and get it done. We have others that are thinking, well, I need to pace my learning based on my limited time. I have a family to take care of. I have my current full-time employment, and I want to start fitting this into my life in a way that is progressive and can work with my current priorities. Not a problem. You get to go at your own pace, and we have some instructors that can take up to a year to complete a program. And after that they get to go and do their own sessions, and that is perfectly fine too. We've made the program fully customizable so that it can support what you're looking for. As far as the investment goes, there's a ton of flexibility that happens depending on the program that you get to, and we do offer various payment plans. So the key thing is when you go through the application and you book a call, take all of these questions. We spend 45 minutes to an hour with you so we can get to know you see if this is a fit. And if it is, we want to work with you to make that accessible for you so that you can get started and start generating income and impacting lives in the process. Sound good? Again, Eva asked about how long is the training. It'll depend on how much of a hurry that you have in making sure that you get to complete it. Now, what exactly is the next step going to look like when you go down this path? So when you apply, We're going to ask you a series of questions which are going to start pretty easy, starting with your first name. So you're going to go through a form. We just want to know who you are. So walk through these steps. It's about— it takes about 2 minutes to complete the application. There's going to be questions around just understanding why are you doing this, what's your experience. And the beauty is for everyone here, your experience is now that you have actually completed a Soma Breath Training already. And so that's definitely putting you into an experience category, you've had a feeling of what a Soma Breath journey is, but simply by applying, we're going to actually send you one of the most powerful and deepest journeys that Soma Breath has to offer that really helps you set a vision and see exactly what is the path that you want to take. So the link that you see right now is going to take you straight to that application, and prepare all your questions to see how we can guide you into that process. If the stage you are in right now is curiosity, this is the single best step you can take right now so that we can paint that picture, build a pathway for you, and see if now is the right time, if it is the right fit, and if so, how to actually make sure that it goes in the right direction. Um, with that being said, we are doing this on the back end of this, an event. So, um, who would like to get a cool deal in the programs to be able to save some money and get some pretty cool offer in the process. Type in 1 if you'd like to get an offer. And while I do that, I'm going to show you guys something really cool. Let me see if we got some 1s in the chat. If I get enough, maybe I'll show you guys what this looks like. Okay, so look, here's one thing that you might not have seen before that we're very, very excited to share with everyone, which is for a lot of our Soma Breath instructors, we actually have a silent experience headset kit that is available. Let's have a look. All right, so So we have these incredible headphones that work with a radio frequency. You get 12 headphones in a kit. It's a $1,000 kit so that you can go at any space, plug it into the receiver. All the people that are going through your journey, there's a microphone. You get to guide them through a silent experience. And we talked about how the music is so important. They sound amazing. They cancel the outside noise. And for anybody who is going on a path of becoming a transformational coach, we're gonna throw a headset kit in for free while you're booking your call and applying during this event. But you have to make sure that when you get on that conversation, you tell them, Jason said I'd get headphones if I become a transformational coach, and then they're gonna make sure to make that offer available to you. And so again, if you apply and mention the headphones because I said so on this event about anxiety, They'll make sure to talk to you about how they can include these headphones. And I got one more thing for all of you, just for spending our 2 hours together and making this the best reason to get started, especially as we're right in the middle of summer. And for a lot of people wanting to get ready for September, spending the summer learning something new, developing a new skill, and perhaps starting a new career, it's the perfect time to get started in our instructor program. Let's make it a little easier for you. Regardless of the pathway you take as a full instructor or as a transformational coach, we're gonna save you an extra $500 if you decide to apply now. So you get to save $500, you get to have a headphone set if you become a transformational coach. And again, when you jump on the conversation with the team, they'll let you know exactly how you can get the best offer, how you can take advantage of all of this, and we can get you set and started as a Soma Breath instructor. By the end of it, you're going to have a very clear path that will teach you how to be extremely competent as a breath facilitator, trainer, coach. We get to actually help you with the business of breath because on top of everything that we teach on becoming an instructor, we teach the entire business of breath. Because to attract the clients, to get people to come to your classes, to work with the studios, depending on what is the way that you want to go out there and make the impact with your toolset, we have a pathway that we will support you on and show you exactly how to do it. If some of you are wanting to go on social media and build a huge following like some of our instructors have done, you can do that. If you don't even want to touch social media and be able to go out there and work perhaps with gyms and have your regular classes, your regular students who come after your session to work with you one-on-one, there's a pathway for that. And when you do your onboarding call, we show you all these different pathways and you get to see how you want to craft your practice, and we'll be there to support you along the way. So we are excited to bring new people into our ecosystem. You've had a chance to see some of the instructors that are in the chat today. And so we are always expanding this community, and that's the whole way that this learning does happen is there is an ongoing community that we encourage you to be a part of. And we wanna welcome some new instructors that are gonna be in different parts of the world, bringing their own flavor, their own style. And I haven't even talked. About all the things that are coming into play to support our instructors when it comes to new technology, new ways for us to send people to you so they can join your classes. All of that are some of the things we've been working behind the scenes. And for existing instructors, know that all of this stuff is coming your way, and we're so excited. I was actually using some of these tools during the breathwork, and if you've noticed, there were some cool fractals that were happening while the breathwork sessions were in play. Oh yeah, I'm not going to take away the thunder of what Niraj is working on, but there are so many incredible things in the pipeline that will make it so that you can pick up, play, and roll out your sessions easier than ever and make a bigger impact than ever. And for those who are considering becoming an instructor, now is going to be the perfect time to do so, because once we start adding a lot of the technology, we're very likely going to be raising the price of these programs. You get to have a deal, and we'll be throwing those in for all our alumni who are already inside the program. So I hope for those of you who I see looking to learn at your own pace, being able to do so and book the calls that you want and be a part of the tribe. Absolutely. There's tons of calls that happen every single month. So you don't do this alone. There are practice calls, deep learning calls, and you get an invitation to a ton of these events. So you continuously get to witness how to do breath sessions and how to continuously improve. And this is just the beginning. So we want to help you find alignment, find purpose, and generate incredible income. Whether you're doing a career shift or you're enhancing your current practice, we know that with Soma Breath, we'll give you the tools to do it right. And with that, I'll answer any questions that you might have, but the best way to get your questions answered is on that one-on-one call. And again, the link that allows you to book it takes 2 minutes to fill the questions. You'll get to book a call with one of our team members as long as slots are still available. And, uh, we have some multiple time zones available, so you should be able to find something for your own time zone.. And just do be, do be sure to look at the AM/PM and pick the one that's not going to be in the middle of the night. I've had a person write to me saying like, I don't think I purposely booked a 2:00 AM call. So definitely keep an eye on that and put the schedule that makes sense for you. All right. That was a lot of me talking. I'm going to look into the comments. Are you guys still with me? I've used a bit of the comments before. I'm going to use it again. If you're with me, let me know. Yuriko. I hope we get to hear from you. Book that call, get a chance to check it out, and you're going to see that there's so many techniques that go beyond just what we did today. That was just a slice of it. I'm someone who suffers from chronic migraines, and I was able to use so many of the techniques. There's actually some migraine pain relief techniques right on the app, and this has been one of the things that helps a lot. Niraj Naik also told me that these glasses kind of help, especially when I do webinars that are at midnight, such as right now. These will help me fall asleep a little better. Um, I see that there's more people here in Southeast Asia. Um, for everybody else, I'm just having a look.
Yeah.
Evan, learning at your own pace and you're part of the tribe. Yep. Uh, Evan is not one of our paid instructors. Matter of fact, uh, you— Tammy came on, like, people are just sharing because they're having such a great experience through the program, right? And yes, there are payment plans available. There's different price points.. But you can get started for as low as putting the first payment of $500 and have payment plans that support you. But the key thing we want to make sure is not about how much that you're paying for the program, but how do we quickly get you making money as an instructor? And we want to build that plan with you. So regardless of the financial situation that you're starting with, have that conversation with the team. We'll start looking at, okay, what would this look like in the next 5, 6, 10 months? How do we make sure that we make a payment plan so that you're making more money if that's where you're looking at?, or if you're somebody who likes to get the best deal possible when you pay upfront, that's when a lot of the cool deals come through. So let's see if there's any other questions. The link, um, how long is the training? I think we've answered that. Um, you know, I have a lot of conversations with people who are in the process of becoming instructors, right? Um, I had a recent person here that's, uh, she was such an interesting person out in California. Um, stay-at-home mom trying to get back into the workforce. She decided to make the leap and become a transformational coach. And what's very fascinating for her is she's already envisioned that she wants to take the learning she has with Soham Breath and speaks Mandarin, and she's looking to create a whole set of the tracks with the music we provide and make it available in Mandarin. And you've noticed on the app how Niraj Naik's counting voice was there. There's so many instructors we're working with right now that are starting to record their own counting in their own language so that we can start expanding internationally in such a beautiful way. And so for those of you who are jumping in early and are ambitious about creating a big impact and wants to work alongside Soma, we're looking for you. We want to be able to partner with you. We want to make sure that we get to collaborate and be successful in the Soma Breath process. So, um, definitely apply and come and check this out. Um, all right, I think I've answered more questions. There's a few more people that are still on the call. So if there's anything I can address for questions, if anybody wanted to come and ask anything, I'm here for you. If not, this is the end of the session, and the next step is just to go ahead and fill the application, book that call, and we'd be looking forward to speaking with you. There's one of my colleagues who are going to make sure to answer any questions you have, and you will be in good hands. And again, if you want to qualify for that $500 off, you got to book by the 19th. But if you want to get those headphones on the transformational coaching level just mention that Jason said you can get headphones and they'll explain you exactly how you can get those $1,000 headphones for free. And that'll be a whole kit of 12 of them. I will say you pay for the shipping and handling, but everything else will make it included. So book the call, we'll walk you through the whole thing and make sure that you guys are in good hands and you get to start hosting some powerful sessions in the process. Guys, thank you. I wanted to check in. You guys have spent just a little over 2 hours with us. Have you guys got what you were looking for? Are you guys happy? We shared some techniques. I would love to see some happy in the chat or some react buttons as we call this evening down. So happiness in the chat makes me happy. I see Monica, some heart. Yuriko, good to see. Angela, glad to see you're happy. We've done our job. We're glad that you're with us. And Evan, always good to see you, sir. And thank you for being our cheerleader. We have much love to you and we love how active you are in the community. So I will never stop that. We have Nidal, thank you for the hearts. Diamon, you missed it. Oh no. Did you just join? Look, a replay will be sent very, very shortly. And Evan, happy, happy. And for everyone else, Ganesh, you look like you're way chilled out. There is zero anxiety happening on your space right there. So good on you.. And then Esther, good to see you. I hope you had a good time as well. And then the rest of you are kind of blurred out. And so I will say, everyone, have yourself a great evening. If you haven't booked that call yet, do that now. And we look forward to being your partners in helping you be successful as instructors. A replay will be sent out, and I will see you guys on the next sessions. And thank you for being part
