Hello everyone and welcome to the 2026 Behind Genius Annual Summit. Over the past 5 years, we've raised $14 million from 152 amazing limited partners, backed 58 companies, and introduced our founders to $9.1 million in additional capital.
Behind Genius does exactly what they say they're going to do. So they've done a lot of legwork for us to build relationships with the next capital partners, with the next people that we need relationships with, and really have done everything they said they would do to support our business as we continue to grow.
I got to meet just a lovely, wonderful, eclectic group of people. And had some of the more earnest discussions I think I've ever had at events like this. So lots of wonderful, meaningful eye contact, everyone really listening, everyone seems a good listener. It was wonderful.
Event was incredible as always. This is something that we as a team always look forward to. It's a great opportunity for us to bring together our entire community, meaning our investors, our portfolio company founders, people that we know in the industry, build meaningful connections and At Behind Genius, we invest in technical storytellers.
So today we got a bunch of those technical storytellers together to share stories of the companies that they're building. One of my favorite moments today was walking into lunch and hearing all these folks from different walks of life Just talking excitedly. Ultimately, that's what I want to create with the community that we're building at Behind Genius is a positive, optimistic group of people who are excited to get together and connect.
One thing I've always respected about Paige is how much she values storytelling in her work. For most people, they think that venture is the stories and the numbers, the stories and the fundraise announcement. But I think Paige really is invested in every single milestone of each of these companies, everything from their first sale, you know, to completing a round, to to really strategic hires. So it's not just, again, writing a check, it's investing in their story and making sure the right people hear it.
I'm looking forward to the future and excited to continue bringing people together. Thank you so much for coming.
