In 2021 the speaker launched the "Seed to Harvest" podcast, which became the foundation of the C. Darvis YouTube channel. Over roughly five years they recorded more than 97 interviews with investors and founders, many of whom have sold companies for billions. The podcast served as a powerful networking tool, allowing the speaker to meet and build relationships with industry leaders, some of whom later invested in the speaker's venture fund. In 2021, I started this podcast called Seed to Harvest, which was the genesis of this YouTube channel. Over the past 4, 5 years, I've interviewed over 97 investors, founders who have sold their companies for billions of dollars. And one of the things that really struck me in my learnings from the podcast was how it's such an incredible way to build a network in a field that you want to learn more about. So when I started the podcast, I was just getting started in venture and it allowed me to meet so many incredible people who ended up becoming investors in our fund. And I just wanted to suggest it as a way, if you're looking to break into an industry or learn more, is starting a podcast can be a really incredible way to network in your given field and actually add value to the community that you would like to be a part of. Like some of these people have incredible stories. And they would love to share them with someone, but they maybe haven't been invited on a podcast. Um, so anyways, if you are watching this, this is a sign that you should start a podcast to network your way into a given field. Unfortunately, we've been on a bit of hiatus as I've been focusing on investing out of our second fund, but I'm hoping to complete some more interviews and be uploading videos more regularly on the C. Darvis YouTube channel, so stay tuned.
