After three years investing in AI startups, the speaker sees large language models as brains that will need hardware sensors for multimodal capabilities. Venture capital has historically underfunded hardware compared to software. The question now is what role wearables and smart devices will play as physical extensions of AI.

I've been investing in AI companies for the past 3 years. And one of the really interesting trends I'm seeing now is that large language models are like the brain. And as they move out to more modalities, they need additional context from things like hardware sensors. And hardware has traditionally been an area that's been underinvested in, in venture capital. A lot of venture capitalists don't like it. They prefer software. Um, and I'm just like very interested to see in what the future of wearables and smart tech looks like as an extension of AI. Brains. Um, anyways, anyone else thinking about this?
