Arkady Kulik, founding partner at rpv, says risk tolerance alone doesn't predict success. What matters is how fast entrepreneurs identify and reduce risks, whether through technical validation, team building, or landing strategic clients. I'm curious if you've seen any like patterns with that specifically among the entrepreneurs you back.
Not within our entrepreneurs. I think the risk tolerance on its own is not necessarily a good predictor, in my opinion. Their ability to identify risks and mitigate them early on. So instead of enduring risks, they don't like risks so much that they try to find the ways to minimize that in every single opportunity. Mm-hmm. So this usually brings more success than enduring risk because if, again, that's my opinion, right? If you can endure a lot of risk, at some point the amount of parameters in the system grows so much that people stop losing grasp of that, that they really don't understand it anymore. So if they can reduce the risk here on a technical side, here on the team side, and maybe get an ally from a potential big client.
