How did I meet my first fund LP? I think that's a really interesting story. So I met my first fund LP through my friend and portfolio company CEO Marlon at Impulse, who I met Marlon through Twitter on I Mouth I, which was like an internet moment during June of 2020. We helped raise like over $250K for organizations supporting Black lives, but I got really close with a group of around like D+ folks who were part of it and just causing mayhem on the internet and directing that attention towards worthwhile causes. And he actually introduced me to the LP who wrote our first $10K check, and I cried. It was an emotional moment. Then I was like, okay, cool, there's only like $4,990,000 to go. Let's go. So yeah, that was how I met my first LP.
