How do you know that you need an executive coach as a founder or a CEO of an early-stage startup?
Most of the intro calls I do with founders are when someone gets to a point and they're feeling overwhelmed. They're noticing that they're not making good decisions, they're not prioritizing well, their calendar is stacked back to back. Perhaps as you just shared coming into this meeting, I'm gonna say that out loud, and they're realizing like, hey, I need some help. I need to level up how I manage myself. So most coaching relationships start with, how do I get better at managing myself? And when you are the CEO, managing yourself 5%, 10% better will have ripple effects across the organization. Typically, while it starts with questions of how do I manage myself better, it starts to expand to how do I manage my team better? How do I set better goals? How do I communicate more effectively? How do I make sure that we're all rowing in the same direction?
