Arkady Kulik, founding partner of rpv, identifies two urgent challenges for neuroscience: aging populations driving a surge in Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and dementia, and a severe mental-health crisis among Gen Z and Gen Alpha that exceeds what Millennials faced.

Yeah. Tell me more about the neuroscience. Yeah. There is a twofold problem the way I see it, on both sides of the spectrum actually. So on one hand, we have a rapidly aging population in the Western world, Europe, US, all of these countries, Japan, China as well. So pretty much the whole world is rapidly aging and with all the advancements in healthcare, in longevity, it will only become worse. And other neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and, you know, you name it, there is a whole long list. Dementia is a horrible one. These will be more and more prevalent. That's the older population. The younger population, Gen Zs and Gen Alpha especially, from everything we see, from everything we hear, the mental health would be a huge issue, much, much bigger than it was in the millennials, for example.
