Anne Dwane explains how Village Global manages its capital calls as it scales, using a line of credit to smooth cash flow and relying on co-founder Adam Khoury's expertise in LP relations. Accurate forecasting keeps limited partners from getting surprised.
as your firm has grown, adding on like finance and compliance and all of that stuff. So you're a bit more abstracted from that side of things, but I'm curious like how your capital call structure shifted as your firm grew, and especially as you're leveraging these scout networks.
Yeah, it's hard to be predictive with any venture model, and especially with the scout network and things like that. But like you, we just try to make our best estimates and not surprise LPs. I think that's important. And we do leverage a line of credit. And I give huge props to Adam Khoury, our co-founder and operating partner, who really is very experienced and he really thinks about managing the cash and also thinking about managing the LP expectations and relationships. Because I think that's, that's the key.
