A circuit designer built one of the first web-based CAD applications in 1999 by applying the simplicity he learned in electrical engineering. His team chose an extremely clean, minimalist interface when most competitors favored complexity.
Can you talk a little bit about how that philosophy of leading with simplicity maybe contributed to your journey as an entrepreneur? Myself, I was a circuit designer, so it's super techie. I was in the electrical engineering department, but my work was around, hey, can you model these circuits in with simple equations and then, you know, try to design them in with using a computer rather than necessarily having an artist, which is the circuit designer be involved. So that's what we did. And I like to say that we were one of the first web applications, especially for CAD, I would say one of the first ones because it was 1999 when we put this out and our application was, you know, extremely clean.
