Start by mapping what your ideal customer wants long-term and what's stopping them. Then identify the influencers they follow and trust. Partner with those influencers through events or content to borrow credibility and reach the people you're trying to sell to.
If you understand your customer's aspirations long-term, you'll get multiple products. And so then understand what stands in their way. And then I also tell people, when you're understanding this ideal customer profile, also figure out their circle of influence, which is who do they follow? Who are the influencers in the space? Make a list of that. Oh, I like that. Yeah, right? Who do they follow? So then you can invite those influencers to your events, to your podcast, to your content. So you get their social proof. When you're new, you have no social proof. So you get this echo chamber.
Yeah, exactly. So I think about it as like borrowed credibility within the industry.
Exactly. Visibility, credibility, and then profitability or brand rub, right? You get the brand rub of somebody like more influential than you. That's a good term. Yeah, the brand by association, brand rub.
