I'll share my story, but what did it feel like getting your first commitment for the fund?
Well, honestly, so there was that time period in October where I literally started the fund. I started fundraising and I like, and I remember the first commitment I got, I think was Sumit actually.
Yeah. Shout out Sumit. Sumit Godri is the ex-CSO of Carta and now runs his own venture fund and is at Instabase now.
Awesome. And he was a huge supporter. And I think Arjun was a fast follow pretty much after that, but they were like the ones who encouraged me to go manage a venture fund. And I was like, I remember when Sumit said it and was like, you should go do this. I was like, dude, you're crazy.
That's like also something that I think is like really important is just having people early on that tell you that you can do it.
