Pete Ericson demos IssueM, a WordPress plugin that turns your site into an issue-based magazine. It handles feature slideshows and thumbnails, includes widgets for navigation and covers, and lets editors publish a full issue with one click.
The issuem plugin turns WordPress into an issue based magazine or news site. Publish your feature articles with a slideshow and feature thumbnails. Let your readers in Google easily access all your past issues. A cover widget lets your readers know what issue they're in at all times, and a navigation widget can serve up article teaser text and give credit to the author. The issue in Plugin for WordPress is shortcode in widget driven, and once your settings are configured, you'll add issues and new articles to each issue here, and when your publication is ready for launch, it'll go live in one click.
