Hey, everyone. Welcome to Zine101. In this tutorial, we will install the Leaky Paywall Slack plugin. This plugin is great if you're looking for a way to see in real time new subscribers, canceled subscribers, failed payments. All of this goes directly into a Slack channel. All right, let's set this up. I've already installed the leaky paywall Slack add on and I have activated it. I've gone to Leaky paywall, I've gone to Settings and I've clicked on Slack. So a couple of things that you need the webhooks endpoint and the channel name. So to start, if I click on Incoming Web hooks, this will redirect me to Slack. If you're already logged into Slack, you should see a page that looks like this. If you're not logged in, then you'll. You'll need to go through that login process. If you haven't created a Slack account, you'll also need to do that. All right, so I want to post this to a particular channel. So I'm going to select General and then click on Add Incoming webhooks. All right, so from here we have the webhook URL. This is what we want to copy and bring back to Leaky Paywall and paste that in. Alright. And the channel name that we selected was General. So make sure you have the hashtag General. And we want to. Perhaps we'll just select all of these. So we want to know when. When there's new subscribers, when there's a cancelled subscriber and when there's a failed payment. And click Save. And that's all there is to it. All new subscribers, all canceled subscribers, all failed payments moving forward will show up in your Slack General channel. All right, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Thanks for watching.
