Foreign. Let's get started. As always, if you guys have any questions, please just click into the Q A bar and I will get back to you just as we're going through or I'll type an answer to you, depending on what we're in the middle of. So we're going to start with looking at Nike and Tiffany. So two very, very, very different brands. Both kind of, you would assume, target completely different people. And they kind of do, but they did a huge collaboration and I'm going to look at, I guess what they did, why they did it and how that came across on social media. Again, lots to learn from there. We're going to look at Clarks vs. Zara, aka Clark's, the massive shoe brand, which you know, most people would have known from when they were kids right up until now. And Zara obviously, you know, huge international fashion brand. And looking at their collaboration and again, you know that why would those two brands collaborate? You know, what would be the reason and what can we learn from them? And then we picked a couple of more kind of independents. So we looked at need and Favour and Block and Bottle. So again, two very different businesses, but they are in a place. So again we're looking at how they, what the collaboration looked like and what we can learn from it. I also have a little sneaky one that I'm going to put in there which I kind of featured before, so which is why I've not put it on the slide. But it's almost an update from when they last collaborated. So I just wanted to give you guys a little bit from there and then we're going to show you guys the content calendar for the next couple of weeks where we can give you guys some ideas on what you might want to look at in terms of content which is being developed nationally and how you guys might be able to use it as maybe a local hook or something that you can do yourselves. So remember, what we do here at Maybe is all about prioritizing your channels by learning from your competitors. So this for example, is the dashboard and normally I show you the calendar, but I thought I'd switch things up a wee bit here. This is the dashboard and when on the left you see your best post. So basically your best post for the whole week. But then on the right I've mentioned Tiffany and course I put that our comparisons, for example, could be Tiffany and I can literally look at their best post versus my best post. So it might be that I was another jewelry brand, a high end one obviously, or it might Be that I wanted, if I was a local bakery, I wanted to look at a local baker. It's the idea is, is that you can start to compare and contrast. You can start to look at what kind of stats they're getting. If they're similar business, what channel is their best one? You know, for us it might be Twitter, but for Tiffany it might be maybe. And so it might be Facebook. But why? So you can start to really learn from your competition and you can start to get content ideas. You might also start to see why you're doing better, which also obviously helps with, you know, from a benchmarking perspective. So make sure you go in there and really using that comparison tool, because it's really what it's all about. Because remember, 79.1% of consumers in the UK spend over an hour on social media per day, but only 19% of businesses have active social media accounts. So we're saying, yes, they might have a social media account, but is it active? AKA are they posting? Are they engaging? That's what we're trying to get you guys to do. We're trying to get you to post more, engage more and do more of the right content to reach more of your customers and ultimately hit your objectives, whether it's to sell more or get more footfall or whatever it might be. We help over 25,000 businesses get more out of social media because, as I showed you a minute ago, we help you compare your social media performance with literally any other business. We use help you use all the social media tools and insights to use social media much more effectively. And then you've got access to all of us. So we've got experts and everything from strategy to just Instagram right through to Facebook ads and everything in between. And then we all develop a ton of content for you guys, whether it's little snippet training videos. And we do live webinars like this where we help you guys basically learn from the best in the business and then figure out how to do that yourself. And then we've always got the little blue button on the dashboard if you ever need any direct help. So I'm going to get cracking. So we are going to start with Nike versus Tiffany and company. So this is basically a snapshot of a very recent collaboration that they did. So this had, I'm not going to lie to you, a massively mixed response. Huge, huge mixed response. So to give you a bit of backdrop before we start going into this, so Nike does a lot of sort of different collaborations, so they have Done everything from working with Louis Vuitton, they have worked with Comme des Garcons, they've worked with, you know, the likes of Beyonce and Jay Z, which I think was like their first joint project outside of music together, you know. So they are very much not afraid of doing a collaboration and let's face it, you know, they're massive, massive brand, you know, they do sponsorship, they do everything. So why would they want to partner with something like Tiffany and Co? Now again, for those of you who've hidden under a rock for the last million years, Tiffany and Co, if you don't know it is a massive internationally well known brand. Mainly known for like basically their Tiffany branded jewelry and things. Like, you know, they're really beautiful silver jewelry and their diamonds and so things like their engagement rings and that kind of thing. It is high end, generally quite expensive and sought after but it also has it sort of like lower range stuff as well, which is more of their kind of, you know, branded Tiffany merchandise and things. But most things are well known from the likes of your Sex in the City and that kind of thing back in the day. So that hopefully sets the scene as to who the two businesses are to then think about why they might collaborate. So I'm going to show you how Nike portrayed this. So this could be their collaboration of the year. Could be. So basically they did an announcement of a link up with the jewelry label Tiffany and company for their brand new Air Force One Law trainer. And this is one of their really, really famous legendary pairs of trainers. There's a lot of chatter around these trainers and basically the news broke and following rumors of the collab when they leaked imagery of the black Air Force ones on Tiffany's channel. But here it was the box. So you can see the transition. So wait and I'll show you what I mean, I'm going to show you both. So that was the box which showed Tiffany branding on a Nike box on Tiffany's channel. It was the Nike trainers with the Tiffany branding. Do you see the difference there? So each channel chose to show off the other one's branding more than their own. So this is showing how the trainers look and feel on the Tiffany Instagram. So you can see, you know, it's like the actual details, gorgeous. You know, again, whether you like them or not is almost irrelevant. This kind of shows you guys, I guess, you know how they've shown them off. It's put them on a flatly, which is literally putting them on a blue background which is clearly going to be the Tiffany Branding, it is the black Nike iconic trainers that most people know, which is their air Force ones. And then what they've done is they've changed subtle differences, so they've created subtle differences. So they've added the Tiffany name to the tongue, they've added the blue tick instead of what they would normally have, and then they've added the little silver decoration at the back. And then, to be fair, all they've done, I mean, obviously they've just spent a fortune on this, but most people could do this if they really wanted to do, you know, to show off their product. They've then just literally done, you know, like they've had the camera, if you like, either walk around or they've had them spinning slowly and the camera stayed there just to show all the different angles of them. And then they've added in a legendary pair. So let's go back to Nike. There's is a static image on its own, but it's the flip side. So it is the Nike box with the Tiffany branding, which really, to me shows off the Tiffany branding much more than the Nike box. I barely, even, if I'm being honest, if you know the brand, I barely even noticed the tick. I notice, oh, it's all about the Tiffany branding. And I think what's really interesting about it is, is that both have chosen to do it basically on the same day, but they've switched. So one showing the box, one showing what's inside the box. What's inside the box is more Tiffany. What's on the outside of the box is kind of a bit more Tiffany. But actually, you know, you do have the big label. So, sorry, what's inside the box is more Nike. What's outside the box is more Tiffany. And they've shown that on the other channels. So have a think about how you could do something like that if you were a collaboration. So literally, if it was. I use this analogy all the time, but it's because I've seen it done really well. If you were a florist and you were giving, I don't know, that every quarter you do a whole load of nice new garlands or something for a local restaurant and a local bar, how would you show that collaboration visually? Well, it could be that on your channel, if you're the florist, you're showing more. It might be like within the restaurant and it might be two people having a gorgeous cocktail in. Your flowers are very much in the background and it's just a little kind of, you know, a little caption. Of things to come or something like that. And then on the restaurants channel it is all about the flowers but it's got a little logo or something underneath. Do you see what I'm saying? It's kind of showing a little respectful nod to the other person's branding and the other part and pushing the, the other person's branding mode on your channel. And let's face it, that's what this is about, what they're trying to do. If you're like, it's for die hard, you know, fans of both Tiffany and Nike, it's actually meant to be really about, I guess, you know, Nike getting a lot more following through Tiffany and co. And then Tiffany Co getting a lot more following through Nike and probably being more cool and a bit more relevant and a bit more hip. Now the other thing that Tiffany did. So Tiffany also launched. Which isn't talked about in this, but this was the launch, bearing in mind. So Tiffany also launched a series of. Basically shoe tools. What else would I call them? So they did things like a shoe brush. They did. What else did they do? Yeah, they did like a little kind of shoe brush. They did like a little. What's the thing called where you help getting your foot into the shoe, One of those little things. There you go, a shoe brush there. So they created a solid silver Nike shoe brush. Now by the way, these are not designed to be used. These are limited edition items that were designed to be around the idea of the collaboration. It was to show how the two brands could work together. Now Nike don't really feature these at all. Tiffany do. But these are. So this was. Don't forget the tongue, which is obviously, I mean literally it was like a toothbrush obviously, you know, it's a bit of a play on words. Then you've got that and then you've got obviously the more subtle flex here. You've got lace to perfection. So the created laces now they are again, obviously for like, they are for purchase. A whistle. Don't even know if the whistle actually works. But again it's more of a limited edition idea. But what's interesting to me is what people's reactions were to this collaboration. So I think I've shown you guys how a collaboration can work and how two people can launch it in exactly the same way. They both said. They both basically said the same thing. They've both done a short caption, they've both done. I'll go back to Nike. We both said a legendary pair. And a legendary pair comes back to I guess Their tagline for the original shoes. But then it also is about the fact that it's a pairing. So it's a collab. The both tagged each other in and both said the same thing and both said, coming soon. They've done nothing else. There's no videos that show you the behind the scenes. There's no kind of, you know, I don't know, talking to designers about the reasons why and blah, blah, blah. They've kept it really simple, but it's all about the subtlety. This one's all about Tiffany and the other one's all about Nike. So the reaction has been really interesting. So lots of people got really annoyed about it, which I think is really interesting. So terrible design. I got excited for nothing. Some people have said what's inside the box. So the box got a few negatives, but generally people were excited about what was in the box. So then when they saw what was in the box, and bear in mind that this is on Tiffany's. On Tiffany's as opposed to on. On Nike's feed. So it's got 304,000 likes and 8,000 comments. Missed opportunity to make them white. Who designed it? Oh, no, I expected so much more than this, literally. Please return this to Tiffany. The box is more appealing than the shoe. Can you get them in white with the blue? Okay, sorry, but who's wearing those? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So most people think the box was better than what was actually in it. How interesting is that? So to me, what I would take from this is that you need to be prepared. If you are going out there with a collaboration, that one might have a better response than the other one. So you need to make sure that you're prepped for that, you're ready for any negative comments, you know, that it might be. That one's got a really cult loyal following and the other one's going not so much. So that one's interesting, that one's not. So bear in mind how people might respond to a collaboration before you actually launch it. Now, personally, I think how they could have done better with that is not by just showing the box, for example, but actually by showing the diff. The ways that I guess evolved, you know, what were the conversations which made them collaborate? What were the reasons behind it? Let's look at, you know, I don't know, like the making of the box, the design of the blue tick, the decision on the silver bit on the back. It helps bring people along on a journey. So again, that's something that I would suggest if you're going to do a collaboration and you're going to do it through social media and you're going to do a big announcement like coming soon, having your stories have on reels, having your Facebook highlights, things like that, just make sure on a pinned post, for example, make sure that you're showing how that develops. So just, you know, it's just a little thing, but it was something that I thought of when I was looking at the comments. But you know what, you know what's great about social media? There's no such thing, really. Like, you know, I mean, obviously there is such a thing as bad press, but ultimately, you know, like there's no such thing as bad engagement really. Because even if people are sitting there and moaning about it, the algorithm's loving it and Instagram's shoving out to even more people. And you guess what, there might be a lot of people that will buy them. So that's the, that's the idea behind it, isn't it? This is about reach, it's about engagement, it's about driving new people to each person, each one's brand. It's really, really strong one. So yes, whether you like the box or whether you like the shoe brush or whatever it might be, you know, get involved if you want to. But I just thought it was a really interesting one to look at because of how they've done it and then how what the reaction's been to it. Okay, very different one is Clarks and Zara. Now interestingly, before I actually go into this, so we're obviously talking about social media here. Now interestingly, Clark's Facebook page that I can see hasn't been in use since September 21st. So actually from what I can gather, the only promoting this through Instagram and TikTok as opposed to Zara, who are pushing it on Facebook as well. Well, so yeah, just thought that was quite an interesting one. But basically Clark's. What the. Clark's teamed up with what effect, you know, effectively is one of the world's biggest fashion retailers for this collaboration. So it says the classic wallaby, which is issue, which is a classic one for, for Clarks and the desert boot. And the idea was it was kind of reinvented. So let's have a wee look at what Clarks had done. So Zara said that one of the key elements of the new collection, so it's a collection that they've done together. So it basically features men's, women's and kids wear options and it's been the interpretation of Taking iconic models, iconic shoes, and then, then reimagining them a wee bit to make them more unique and a bit different and a bit more modern and suitable for, I guess, you know, now. So Basically Clark's launched 50 new styles which were available to buy online at Zara and then also in stores in countries and basically I think over 98 countries all around the world. So better background on Clark. So in recent years they actually were really struggling due to the pandemic, but over the last few years they have started making quite a steady recovery and there's been more of an increase in consumer demand. Therefore, this was almost like a kind of relaunch, if you like, and a relaunch into almost like a very new hip, modern audience. So people would remember Clarks or know of Clarks, but actually going with something quite cool and quite fashionable and international like Zara just gives them a whole new lease of life, which is the, at the, you know, which is basically the idea behind it. So here, let's look at what they did. So Clark's Clarks versus or times Zara and a new collaboration with Zara. We brought new life to our iconic wallaby and desert, but using chunky crepe so to create a uni silhouette. This collaboration is available exclusively via Zara channels. So again, interesting. Exclusively via Zara, not by Clark's. Interesting, isn't it? So that again is looking at the why that is about them basically saying we want to get our shoes into your shops, isn't it? That's what they're doing, you know, that's the reason that they've created this, is to get, you know, all of these guys in west, you know, basically, you know, it's that idea of, you know, you're going to buy these jeans, so why wouldn't you want to mix with, you know, these like cool pink desert boots or, you know, looking at the men's collections, it's showing how, you know, if you just buy a pair of shoes, you're buying the shoes solely and it might be to go with an outfit that you've already got. The idea is, is that by Clark's going in with Zara, they are physically, you know, like, then people are more likely to buy it all together as a collective. So Zara is going to like it because you're more likely to buy the whole outfit that pulls it all together. And Clark's is going to like it because they're being shown to a brand new audience who might never have walked into a Clark's store. Before because it suddenly makes them cool. Do you see what I mean? So what I really thought was interesting was that they've made that very clear in the caption. They have sort of drawn you in with this image which I thought was pretty cool actually having like the giant shoe with, you know, the kind of very cool sort of, you know, sultry models. You know, like I thought it was quite nice and quite, you know, very, very Zara and not so much Clark's. I thought the branding on it was pretty good as well. Again, whether you like or don't like the shoes, it doesn't really matter. This is about the fact that it's for a new audience and then how they've explained it. They wanted to bring a new lease of life. Clearly they want to make more sales. So I think how they've done it is really interesting. On Clarkson, as I say, Clarks have mainly focused on been recently on Instagram and TikTok as opposed to Facebook. But then when we look at Zara, So they. This was a post that they did on Facebook for it. So they're still on Facebook, they're on all the channels and they're. They're always like really strong on social media, to be fair. So they chose to talk about it on Facebook. And this is the image. So this shows all of them. So these are obviously like the two, you know, the two giant shoes and then the more little one, which is super cute actually with the models all around them. So this is very much I am Clark's and oh no, wait, no, we're super cool now because we're part of Zara. So I think it really ties the two brands together nicely. And even, you know, you can see the label but without being like really, you know, I suppose how Tiffany and Nike did it was very like boom, in your face. Whereas this is a bit more subtle because you have to recognize that Zara has a very specific type of modeling. They've got certain brand colors that they use, they've got certain ways that they do photoshoots and things. But you would only know if you were part of, you know, you've interest in Zara and Clark's. Most people would recognize the kind of typical Clark's kind of shoes. So I think it is, it's quite subtle. And then again, I thought it was quite interesting what they said. So they've put. We collaborated with the renowned brand Clarks, which was founded in 1825 through the launch of the re edition of its iconic models, Wallaby and the desert boot so for them, they've bigged up Clarks, they've begged them up, they've said, actually, no, we've decided to collaborate with them because they're a really old established brand and we wanted to work with them because they're, you know, they're renowned and they're, you know, it's basically classics. It's classic meets fashion. So I think, again, that goes back to what I was saying before. When you're doing a collaboration and you're showing it on social media, make sure you understand, let's face it, who's the biggest brand, which one has the most following, which one has the most engagement and which one needs the other one more. And that's totally fine because it's okay for that. And make sure, therefore, that each one is getting the right nod on the social media channel. Because again, go back to the florist in the bar. If I was the florist, I would be begging up that bar. Even if I had more following, I'd be begging up the bar, but I would still be knowing that, you know, the bar is probably going to get more out of it than me, than them, you know, the other way around. But equally, if I was the bar, I would be really bigging up that florist and talking about, you know, the different flowers that they give me and, you know, the different arrangements and, you know, tagging the men and all this kind of stuff. So again, I think that's interesting. Also interesting that because Clarks obviously aren't, aren't really on Facebook, they can't tag them in, whereas on Instagram they can tag them in. So Clarks have tagged in Zara here. So Clarks, had they been on Facebook, would have benefited from that. So other thing to think about is your channels. When you're doing a collaboration with anybody, it's making sure that you, that if they don't have a Facebook page, be careful if you're posting on your Facebook page because again, it is all about that, that cross reach and that extra engagement. That's kind of one of the main reasons you would do it on social. So make sure that you choose a brand that has the right, the similar channels to you because otherwise it's kind of just going to get lost in the noise. But again, interesting that some people weren't hugely happy about it. But do you know what? Not everyone's going to love everything. What it did get is a ton of engagement because look, this got 9,000 engagements and then on Facebook, I think they had 1.4 engagement, 1.4 thousand engagements. So, you know, two bands working together, decent amount of reach. So yeah, lots to learn from these guys, I think. So in fact on that I'm just kind of going to summarize a wee bit on this because I was just thinking about this. So Clarks, what can we actually learn from this collaboration? Like, you know, in terms of breaking it down? So Clarks in an older outdated brand, which I guess, you know, you probably don't think to shop for stylish shoes, you know, unless you're a particular Clarks fan. Although they are known for the strong quality of shoes. So that's why they went going back to that renowned. That's why they're, they're well known. They have had to tap into the younger generation more. So they've been really focusing on tick tock. But how do you. So they've got I think like 2.1 million followers. But then how do they actually, you know, engage with them on a fashion perspective, teaming up with the likes of Zara Because Zara is the fashion giant, they've got a huge target audience and perfect with the mix of Clark, strong shoe strength. So it's basically successful for both brands. But ultimately one needs one more than the other. Let's face it, Zara didn't need Clarks. Zara are adding a new element to what they're doing by going on their, their sort of heritage if you like. So just, I just wanted to explain those things a little bit. This is Zara's calendar. So when you go into, maybe you can go in and you can look at anyone's calendar as I've said before. So literally if you want to go in and see what Zara are doing, you want to go in and see what the local shopping centre is doing, you want to see what the local council is doing, it's all in there. And you literally go into content calendar and you can compare your own. So you can see that they do a lot on Instagram. So this literally was for what last week? So yeah, it was over Valentine's Day. So you can see that they do a lot of videos, they do a lot of reels. A lot of their stuff is quite high fashion. But then they also have a more kind of like user generated content as well. But this is what I mean you can learn very quickly as a snapshot from businesses through the content calendar. So a couple more. So this is need and favor and block and bottle. Now I want to talk a little bit about this one. So, so my voice is going a little bit too much talking. So this is need and Favor. So as you can see, they make absolutely delicious, ginormous, beautiful sandwiches. That's what they do. They specialize in amazing breads and fillings and put it all together into these incredible sandwiches. And so they use social media very much as a window, like literally a shop window, to bring people down, so to bring people physically down to their premises to buy the sandwich. And then what they did here was a little bit different. So they've got, you know, they do have, like, you know, the odd little collaboration and things, but they did this one here, which was blocking Bottle, which is, you know, I guess a more established social media account, I guess. So they've got Block and Bottle here, They've got the logo there, and then they're showing the sandwiches in the background. And then they said, collab alert. Keep your peepers peeled for our new special collaboration, Sarnie, coming soon with our wonderful friends at Block and Bottle. So this is another local business. And what they've done is they have decided to. To collaborate on a product. So again, is this any different to Tiffany and Nike? Not really. What they've done is they've done, you know, Coming soon, which is exactly what Nike and. And Tiffany did. They have shown the kind of two brands working together, and they've given you a bit of inspiration as to what those sandwiches might look like and what, you know, you might get from it, which, again, is really similar to what they did. So what I want to show you that anyone can do this, but why would they do this? So I want to look at the Block and Bottle. So the reason that I showed these two, you can. I don't know whether you can see, but it says, so need and Favor and Block and Bottle. So that is the Collab part. So they have done that as a partnership. And this again is need and Favorite and Block and Bottle. So again, Collab. But this post, again, wasn't done by Block and Bottle. This was done by need and Favor. So I'm gonna have a quick look at this to explain what I mean. So before I showed you the two brands and how one was featuring the other one when they collaborated and how they, you know, really supported each other and that kind of thing. But then that goes back to why. So this is another one. So this was the actual, you know, the actual collaboration. So this is. I'll have a spot of that. The Gloucester Old Sport spot. Pork dip, choux, kale, pesto, marinated peppers and pickles. This week's special collab with the wonderful Fluke at Folk. Sorry, at Block and Block and Bottle. So this is showing you an outstanding sandwich that they've dreamed up with. With the drink and, you know, like. Sorry, not with the drink, with the. The dip, you know, and showing it, you know, and it's all. It's food, porn. Sexy kind of glory, really, isn't it? You know, you're either gonna love that and want a bit of it right now because you're hungry, or you're gonna love that. But either way, everyone can appreciate what a good sandwich looks like. Okay, so the image itself is great, but it's showing that it's a partnership that is saying you're with them. So that's the best way to show the partnership. Again, it's need and Favor that are doing it. Now, the reason that I haven't shown you Block and Bottle showing this collaboration is because they didn't really is because actually it was need and favor that was almost pushing the collaboration, and Block and Bottle were doing it, but actually it was all about need and favor getting more from Block and Bottle collaboration maybe, rather than the other way around or. That's certainly the impression that I got. So I want to take a look at Block and Bottle. So they have 16,000 followers. They are. So they are all about the meat tier. So meat, beer and life, shopping and retail. And here you can see they get really good engagement on their post. So they did post it, but not in the same way that the other ones did. So for me, When they're doing the collaborations, it is much more, I guess, you know, like, if they've got a really engaged audience, then what you would be wanting to do is collaborate with them so that you can get more reach by engaging more with people in their audience. So I would be saying to them in the beginning, right, how are we going to engage with you? You know, how are we going to get more reach together? Can we do a video that shows, you know, how the sandwich is made? Can you get, you know, face to face with, I don't know, both owners of both businesses and you guys do a video on why you're collaborating? Make sure you get the most out of it, because actually that would increase your reach, it would increase your engagement. It would ensure that both sets of businesses are getting a lot out of it, but also ensuring, I guess, that, you know, the one that needs more from it gets more from it as well, by making sure that that other one, you've almost got an agreement in place for how you're going to support them. And then finally now, I featured these guys before, which was this one. Now the reason that I went back to feature them again is because it's to show the end of the collab. So usually when people do a collaboration, they kind of, you know, show whether it's an installation or a product or service or something. Usually when it's done, it's. They don't continue it. This is bridal reloved, so bridal reloved. And basically they sell wedding dresses, but they sell, you know, the designer high end wedding dresses at, you know, a fraction of the price. And they are based all across the uk And I loved this one. So I'll show you it for anybody that missed it. What they did was they collaborated with a local florist for their Christmas window and they do this at Valentine's Day. They do this at different times a year. But I particularly loved how they did this video. So I'll show you the video to explain why I'm showing you again. So I'm sorry, but it's just gorgeous. It's gorgeous. So that is their December window. They collaborated with an absolutely gorgeous local florist and it's two women that are running the businesses and they basically got together and they created some beautiful displays and they created that incredible flower wedding dress which is an absolute showstopper. And what I love is that they've done exactly what I think that Tiffany and Nike and also the other ones should have done, which is showing how the collaboration happens. They're showing the prep that went into it, they're showing how it was made, they're showing, you know, they're giving us more detail and I absolutely love it. And that's got a lot of engagement for them. And then in the actual, in the actual caption as well itself, it talks about, you know, how we're so blessed to be surrounded by so many talented people and doubly blessed when they sponsor the window for a month. So they're basically saying, you know, they're giving you all the detail. They're really begging up that other business, which is just wonderful. So this to me is how it's done. Yes, it's on a small scale, but this to me is how it's done. This is two businesses working together. Guess what? You need a wedding dress, you need flowers for your wedding. Guess what? If you need flowers for your wedding, the likelihood is you need a wedding dress or a bridesmaid dress or some of the other things. So that is why it's a dream collaboration. And why, you know, she's not to pay for the floor, the flowers and they've not to pay for the window space. You know, it's basically sponsorship. It's, you know, it's like a giving of services but it means that they're going to come up in each other's feeds, they're going to come up to each other's customers that this is what it's all about. So if I could say anything, it's that actually some of the big brands could learn a lot from these guys who have collaborated and done it in such a beautiful, beautiful way that's not been all bells and whistles and needing, you know, like, you know, thousands of pounds spent on it. This is actually about the talent and the work and showing how two brands can really work, work together. Now the reason why I'm reshowing this and you know, you're probably like, why the hell should go on about Christmas is because I happen to have a look at, because I really love the flowers. I'm going to have a little look at Indigo Bloom. So that is the florist who supplied that wedding dress and the floral wedding dress and then all the other pieces around it. So they went back and they did a time lapse of a dismantle party. So let's have a little look at this. I just love this and it's not something you see very often. So, you know, my job is to give you guys ideas on how you might do things. Collaborations on social media. This is a classic one. So it's always sad when dismantling Christmas displays, but it's always great fun spending the morning with the lovely Ally at Bridal V. Loved ca. She is lovely. I've spoken to her. So thank you again, Ali, for the opportunity to dress your window and I love decorating your beautiful shop. See you soon now. So do you remember a minute ago when I showed you Ally from Bridal Reloved? When she did the post, it was so gushy about Indigo Blooms and how incredible the lady is, how talented she is and how she was so lucky that, you know, she chose her shot to do this display. And then in this one, this is the second one if you like, you know, this is the, you know, them taking it down, which again, nobody talks about, you know, like, you know, having to dismantle things after Christmas or Valentine's Day display or anything like that. And then she's gushing about her. This shows mutual love, mutual respect. It helps customers feel that there's a real synergy between the two businesses. It helps them associate the two businesses together, which again is naturally going to increase sales. But it is how it is done. It's how it's done. This is how two brands should show how they are collaborating together and get the most bang for their buck. The amount of time that an effort that that would have taken to pull all that together and come up with the ideas and how the dress would look and how the window would look and that kind of thing, that's a lot of time, effort and skill. Why waste that? Even coming up with a sandwich? Why waste it? Show videos, show the story, talk about it. So, yeah, I'm really passionate about this because I really believe that this is where brands miss a trick. So we talked a lot about collaborations. Now I also want you to think about maybe some ideas that are coming up in the next few months using our content calendar. So this is our 2023 social media content inspiration calendar, where effectively what we've done is we pull together all of the national days, all the national days, weeks and months, all the awareness days, all of the, you know, love your dog days, all those ones that I guess everyone goes searching for to come up with some fun content or maybe a full campaign based on it. And we've taken that and then we have turned it into a huge calendar with lots of different tabs from January right through to December with all of the, with all of the dates on it for everything that you could possibly imagine. So when you're maybe thinking about, okay, who could I collaborate with in my area, which online brands do I look at and think we probably share the same customers, which I don't know whether it's a council or a shopping center, it doesn't matter. You know, thinking about the hook that could get that collaboration going could actually come from this. So I'm going to look at March because we're coming up to March, but it could be that you want to do something at the end of March, for example. So let's look at all the national days. So I think we've talked about quite a lot of the ones that are early on last week. But I am going to have a look at. Right, there you go. National Complementary Therapy Week. So this is aimed at the. It's an event aimed at celebrating complementary therapies and the amazing work and services offered by the complementary therapist and the invaluable service that they do, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Now if you are in. Right, I live in a Goodsbury, right. And you might be, you might do Reiki, you might do massage, you might do, I don't know, you might even do like a sort of, maybe more alternative beauty therapy. Why wouldn't you want to do something that week as an, as a campaign? Use the hashtag. All the hashtags are there. Use the hashtag and come up with an idea. Maybe work with another therapist that does something that's different to you, where you do a competition or you offer something together. That is why these national days and weeks are so important, because if you can't come up with something, literally it's all there for you and this is how you come up with the ideas. I mean, that's just one debt awareness week, right? So debt awareness week. Why couldn't the local citizens advice work with the local shopping centre and go in and do a day's worth of, you know, giving some on the spot advice to people about managing their debt. Or you could use social media to do it. Why wouldn't your local shopping center want to help people during a financial crisis where they actually go in and they ask, ask for, I don't know, the top 10 tips on debt advice and just use that as a national hashtag? To be fair, a local pub could do it. That's not the point. The point is, is that you're taking a national campaign and turning into something where you could do a collaboration, but you could also do something that genuinely really benefits people and helps drive it. It could still drive sales, it can still drive football. And then finally, let's look at another one. I mean, National French Bread Day. I mean, do you have a local baker you could work with? Where, I don't know you, if you're a certain business, could you have all their French bread in your, in your display? Could you do a little competition where, I don't know, one of you sells the, the condiments, it might be the jams or something, and someone else sells the, the French bread. You see what I'm saying? This quite literally could apply to anyone and we have, have all of them all there for the whole month. So if you need this and you don't have this yet, just drop something in the Q and A and we'll get it sent on to you anyway. But if you do have it, then get using it. Literally. I talk to people all the time and they're saying, oh my goodness, I forgot about that one. And you remember the big ones like your sympatric stays and your mother's days and things like that, but there's so many other ones that can. That could be a big springboard for you guys in terms of content. It's just about finding them and using them. So, remember, this is what we do. We've got all the tools and the support you need. So if you want to book anything more like this, but you need a bit more support on a Monday, we do how to use maybe. So it's a webinar like this. Tuesday, social media basics. Literally, you know, how to use Instagram, that kind of stuff. Wednesday, you've got me. Thursday, you've got ads for beginners. That is literally, you know, how do you start doing ads? Ads. Friday is advanced as maybe you're already doing them, you want to learn how to do them more and then it's always on. So it's like on demand training. We. We do. The reason why my voice usually sounds like this is because I've usually. I sat yesterday recording a whole load of videos for you guys, all based around different sectors, different types of businesses and what they're doing and how you could learn from it as well. And of course, you can schedule it in, you can do all your advertising through the platform, do your reporting and you can learn from any competitor. So I'm going to sum up a little bit. So if you're going to collaborate, ensure you can make the most of it. Ensure you make the most of it. So that goes back to what I was just saying about the likes of Nike and Tiffany. I think that, yes, whilst they might be giant brands, so they might not have needed as much exposure, if you're going to do it, make sure you get as much of it, make sure you take the videos, make sure you do little interviews, make sure you show. I don't know if you've had to do a sketch on something, show the sketch, talk about how. How it came about, talk about. Even if it was that, I don't know, you had a conversation down the local pub and thought, oh, let's do a competition, talk about it. People want to see the behind it so that they can buy into whatever the collaboration is, so that again, it's showing the behind the scenes. Make sure both businesses tag, make sure both businesses share, make sure both businesses are super engaged in the collaboration as well. So it can't just be one over the other, it can't just be one a little bit and then the other one really, really pushing it. It should be both, both fairly equally. Whilst one can still understand that the other one's maybe getting a wee bit more out of it and do a follow up. I love what the bridal shop did with the florist. I absolutely love it. Why wouldn't you go back in and show, you know, I don't know, a time lapse of you taking down that Halloween display or the Valentine's display or the Mother's Day one or anything like that. Or it might be, I don't know, you did a competition as a collaboration, and this is you, you know, showing the prizes, you know, anything like that. Why wouldn't you want to show, you know, the the? You've shown the before, you've shown the the during. You've taken us on a journey. Let us see the after. And again, you get more bang for your buck. You're talking again about each other's brand. You're going to get more reach and more English.
