Diva Lanark is a nail and beauty salon and their customers come to them to get whisked away, to look and feel beautiful. They post regularly and use really fun gifts and also such as some general sort of posts to talk about their treatments and engage with their female audience. Now I want to look at one of their top posts because it's actually nothing to do with their treatments or their before and afters or their staff. Really what it's about is this little guy. So this was one of their top posts and I wonder why it could be. So it says here we have a very special birthday boy in the salon today. Happy birthday, Riley. Treats, cuddles and pets are all welcome if you're fortunate enough or fortunate enough enough to be popping into the salon today. So super, super cute. Now why is this a top pose? Now everyone, generally speaking, loves a pet on social media. So seeing this gorgeous little dog pop up in your feed with his little birthday, his little birthday outfit on, celebrating his birthday is firstly a cuteness overload. Everyone loves a bit of cute on social media so it would make anyone want to click on it and see him. Secondly, it's not about the salon, it's not about the business, not even really about the staff member. What this is about is showing the people behind the business. It connect with dog lovers everywhere and it helps people get a bit of almost a two way conversation going. So people would naturally be asking, well I wonder what age is he? What kind of dog is he? And we'll give him lots of belly rubs, all that kind of thing. It is lovely and it just helps encourage that conversation because guess what everyone, people love pets, they love babies, they love kids, anything. I guess that shows the behind the scenes of a business because what that does is it helps you connect and it helps you identify with them on a really true level. And it means that they're much more likely to choose your business over any other business because guess what, that little face will stick in your mind much more than a manicure or a pedicure would. Because that is something they see every day when they look at, looking at salons. But that little face is something that they don't. So you will stick in their mind when you think of the little pet pooch. Now if I wanted to see what else Diva and Lanark were up to, I would go to the platform, the maybe platform. I would go to the content section and I would go to content calendar and I would add Diva, Diva Lanark here in my comparison. So what that does is on the top here it shows me the, it shows me all of my posts from the last week. And then on the bottom it will show you all of Diva's posts for the last week as well. Here you can change the dates. Now, why would I do that? What if I was a salon, a beauty salon, a nail salon, and I thought, oh, okay, these posts look quite interesting. This would give me a bit of inspiration. It would also help me benchmark if you looked at, you know, when you were posting versus when they're posting and they're getting more engagement from you.
