We're going to check out how the Spread Eagle Pub in Hereford create FOMO through their social media posts. If you have any questions, please use the blue button inside maybe as it connects you to us all 24, 7 and we love to help. So let's check out their feed and see how they do this. So obviously FOMO is the fear of missing out. So if you can create FOMO in your social media posts you are going to create excitement and intrigue in what you actually offer. So it's a great thing to achieve. And the Spread Eagle Pub do this really, really well. Let's have a look at their feed. So a pub in Hereford, family and dog friendly pub serving locally sourced fresh home cooked meals. So really lovely feel to the pub in terms of how they position themselves. But when you look at their posts there are some really simple but effective ways they achieve FOMO and urgency in their content. You're looking at their post, the first thing that jumps out is the wording that they actually use. So you'll often see things like new new menu or they'll say things like fantastic or you'll need to book or there's a few spaces. It makes people know that they need to act if they don't want to miss out on booking for a certain date or it creates the temptation to try something new. And that is consistent throughout their post. So I'll just keep scrolling down through here and you'll see that they often refer to, you know, here we go, few spaces left. Or they'll run competitions to obviously generate interest in what they actually do. They add that to some eye catching images. They'll include relevant emojis in their posts. And as I said, they do run a competition or two and put all of that together and it creates excitement, fun, intrigue and a desire to want to get involved. And that is a great thing to actually achieve on a social media feed. And they see good engagement on their posts. Consistently. People tag in their friends. So here you know someone tagging in a friend saying how nice this actually looks and that's, that's a great thing to achieve on your social media feed. And they do this consistently. So there's great images here, good engagement. They also support other local businesses too. So they just here have actually tagged in a local business. So it creates a real sense of community. But all of the pictures are eye catching. They are all tempting food or people having fun. You can see this post here. We've sold out of takeaway roast today. Didn't they look nice so that makes you think, oh, I'll try that next week because, you know, they obviously sold out, so the food must be good. So they, they do this consistently. So I'm going to keep scrolling because it just shows in all of their posts how much they do this really, really well. So keep people informed if they're closed or if there's a change of opening time or anything like that. But they also keep people informed if they have sold out of roast dinners. So that achieves two things. One, it obviously informs people so people won't try to book, but it also makes you want to try it next time. So here they've said, book your tables early for next week. So don't miss out. You know, don't miss out. We get fully booked, we sell out. So if you want to get involved, you need to act and you need to do something. So they get people talking, they spark a conversation, they spark interest through their posts, they include great images. Put all of that together and it creates a real community feel. But also lots of fomo. You'd want to get involved because obviously lots of people are and you don't want to miss out. So what can we learn from their approach? Well, absolutely aiming to create intrigue and FOMO in your content through choosing the right words is really important. So you know the right words. We've seen a number of phrases and words that they've used here, but we've sold out, new menu, fantastic few spaces left, need to book early. That sort of terminology makes people feel that they obviously need to act if they don't want to miss out on trying something new or booking for a specific date or something like that. So use the right words. But obviously they don't do it in a, in a, in a sort of bossy way at all. But it's all done in a very friendly way. They include emojis, their posts are still fun, they've got eye catching images included. So you know, add that to a great image which will help to bring to life what the experience is that someone can expect. And it really is a winning combination. So the Spread Eagle and Hereford do a great job at creating intrigue and FOMO in their content consistently. So let's have a look at how maybe can actually help you with this. Well, if you obviously want to make sure that your content all hangs together in that same way, obviously a good thing to do if you've got different events that happen at your business or different specific things in the week that you want to actually promote the best way to actually do that is obviously to use a content calendar because then you can schedule your content in advance and make sure that you're not missing out on promoting all of the things that you've got going on in your business. So here under Content and Content Calendar in your maybe account, this is where you can share all of your content. So it Aussie saves you lots of time if you do this in advance. You don't want to be trying to post real time all of the time. So here you can actually make sure that you're promoting what you've got going on on each day. You can check that you've got eye catching images in there and it really helps you to achieve that sort of intrigue and FOMO that the Spread Eagle in Hereford actually do. So I hope that's been useful.
