In this short video, the presenter highlights Impact Hub, a Bradford‑based social‑innovation co‑working space, as a case study for how celebrating community achievements on social media can dramatically increase engagement. The featured post celebrates Bradford being named City of Culture, using a candid, endearing team photo that showcases pride and togetherness. The speaker argues that authentic, place‑focused content personalises a business and resonates strongly with audiences. He then outlines a data‑driven approach: regularly checking the social‑media dashboard to identify the best post of the week, spotting recurring trends (e.g., video vs. image, platform preferences), and benchmarking against competitors. By focusing on what consistently works and leveraging those insights, any business can amplify its reach. The video ends with a call‑to‑action inviting viewers to ask questions.

Today we're with one of Bradford's Green street pioneers, Impact Hub, and we're looking at how celebrating achievements on social media is a winner for engagement. The Impact Hub is a locally rooted, globally connected social innovation hub and it's a co working space based in Bradford. What I love about this post, in particular over their other posts, is that this is a celebration of community and place pride. This is a post of around how Bradford became the city of culture and you can see in the team's face just how much it means to them and just how proud they are. The image itself isn't slick, but it's fun, it's endearing and shows togetherness and celebrates people. And Bradford, it personalises the business too, which is just always a winner on social media. And the engagement on the post just shows how much people wanted to celebrate what the city had achieved. Any business should celebrate their own wins as well as any wins as part of their city or their place, because people absolutely love it on social media. Now, if I was Impact Hub, I'd want to look at ensuring I was spot on in what was working and what wasn't in my social media efforts. And the best way to do this is by checking my dashboard regularly. So I've gone to the maybe platform and in my dashboard and on here would be my best post of the week. And then I can also start to look at what trends and themes are coming up. So if regularly it's a video or if it's images of my team, or if it's regularly Instagram rather than Twitter, then I'd be focusing my efforts on what is actually working. And then of course, you can always compare to a competitor as well. So it might be another co working space or another innovation hub and you can start to understand what's working for them and what's working for you. And then as you can tell, there's loads of other great stats and things that you can use to compare it as well. But for me it is the One of the most important things is understanding what is your best post on a weekly basis and why. If you've got any questions whatsoever, click on the little blue button.
