In this presentation, the speaker explains how a bouncy‑castle manufacturer (BT) uses Facebook Live to showcase its products, demonstrate safety features, and provide real‑time customer service. By broadcasting live videos of the castle’s interior, lighting, and safety details, the company lets potential renters or buyers inspect the product virtually. Viewers can comment during the stream, asking questions about colors, sizes, or availability, and receive immediate answers, creating a high‑engagement experience that static posts cannot match. The speaker also recommends that the business target its live content geographically and sector‑wise—using Facebook’s location filters to engage nearby event venues, restaurants, supermarkets, and other potential clients—thereby maximizing the relevance of the audience and driving qualified leads. The talk concludes with a call‑to‑action encouraging viewers to click the help button for further assistance.

Today we're looking at how going live can drive engagement. As you can see, this is BT bouncy castle manufacturers, and they, funnily enough, manufacture bouncy castles. And what they do is they go live on Facebook, like they have here, and I'll show you the video and then we'll talk about it. So, as you can see, this video here is them live. So they have created this bouncy castle, and this is them going live to show everybody what it looks like on the inside. So it's to show the flashing lights, to show, I guess, you know, the kind of experience that someone would get if they hired in the bouncy castle and indeed purchased it so that they could use it for events and things like that. So it shows the whole thing. And I think what's really good about it is most of their Facebook posts are live, which is great. So it's all about getting people to engage. It's about getting people to. To guess, you know, to see the full thing and to understand what it would actually be like if they were to purchase it. So here you can even see they've gone into, like, the safety details and things that. So it is. If people are thinking about buying, renting, ordering, or getting an inflatable at a specific time, then it very much allows people to inspect it. And obviously, when you go live, one of the great things about it is people can comment directly. So I would get an alert to say, BT have gone live. And I could go on and say, okay, does this come in other colors or anything like that? And they could actually answer me live. So it means that, you know, you get real time customer service and customer value out of. Of the live video that you just simply don't get with anything else. Now, if I was these guys, I would want to start engaging within my location. I want to start engaging with maybe locations that some of my target audience would be in. So here you can go to. Maybe you go to engagement and engage, you can click on location, you can start to do nearby. So they could start to look at what businesses are nearby and nearby locations, maybe event spaces, things like that. And they can start to, like, they can start to comment, they can start to even share some of their posts. They can look even in within specific sectors as well. So it might be food retail. So what restaurants would want to hire their bouncy castle? It might be, I don't know, it might be supermarkets, things like that. But basically this is the best way for them to get as much bang for their buck with social media as possible. So they would go live and then go in and do a bit of engagement within their location. And it's more likely to drive one of the right people, more of the right audiences back to them. Now, as always, if you've got any questions, click on the little blue button. We love to help, don't.
