How tagging supports your posts on social media

Tag craft fairs, venues, and related businesses in your posts to reach their followers and get them to share your content. Natasha at Leon and Feather jewelry uses this to drive traffic back to her feed. Create a group of tagged partners, then regularly like and comment on their posts to build a network where everyone promotes each other.

Hi there. Today we're looking at how tagging supports your posts on social media. This is Leon and Feather. It's an independent designer that's based in Sheffield and produces stunning handcrafted jewellery. Natasha, the owner, speaks in the first person to connect with her customer on social media and then she always tags where you can find her jewellery, be it online or at a craft fair. Tagging means that she's more likely to be seen by the customer following these other accounts, AKA Fabulous spaces. Or it might be the Craft and Tea, which was. And, sorry, the Craft and Flea, which is craft fair as well. So by tagging them it means that she's more likely to be seen by those customers that are following those accounts, therefore driving more traffic back to her feed. It means that the other accounts are more likely to share, engage or repost. And it's just a great way of businesses supporting businesses. And if you're interested in her jewelry, then you might be interested in other craft businesses or indeed other items that are featured at fabulous places. So if I was Leon and Feather, I would be wanting to look at how I can repeatedly engage with these craft fairs and with anywhere else that shows my jewelry, so I can support them whilst they support me. So the best way of doing that is going on to the Engage tab on maybe. And then what you would do is create a group, so you would type in each individual place that you are being featured. So pop it in here. And then. So I called it Restaurants for now, but it would be under, say, I don't know, craft fairs. And then you just click on there and then these would be all of the businesses that you that are posting, that are craft fairs that are related to what you do, or indeed any of the other businesses where your items are featured. And it means that you can support them, you can go in and engage with them, you can comment on them, you might want to reshare some of their content and then again, they're much more likely to engage more back with you. And again, it just helps you bolster your content so that it's not all just about you, it's all about other brands that you're supporting as well. If you've got any questions whatsoever, click on the little blue button. We love to help.
