Walk through adding an existing Facebook ad account to Business Manager. You'll need your ad account ID from Ads Manager, then paste it into the add-account dialog in Business Settings. If you've ever boosted a post, Facebook already created an ad account for you.

Hello. I'm going to show you how to add your ad account to your business manager. So I'm going to have two tabs open and I've got one with Facebook open logged into my personal profile and I've got a second tab where I'm going to just type in business.facebook.com and then assuming that you have a business manager already set up, it will take you straight through to your business manager. I'm then going to choose my account just for demonstration purposes and you should arrive here onto a sort of consolidated view of your account. So from within this business manager view you want to go to Business settings and you want to drop down to Add Accounts. And then here you'll find the big blue button where you click to add your ad account. So this brings up three add an ad account. That's if you have one that exists already, request access to an ad account. That's typically if you're a third party wishing to work with a business, so typically an agency or a consultant. And then you have create a new ad account. So that's if you do not have an ad account at all. So if the notion of an ad account is not familiar to you, please don't assume you haven't got one already for your business. If you have ever boosted a post, Facebook will have automatically created an ad account for you. So once you're inside Business manager here and you know that you have got an ad account, you want to click on the blue button, bring up add an ad Account and it requests an Ad account ID here. So to find your ad account id, you want to go back into your personal profile and, and just go across to your left hand side on the settings menu and you'll find here either Ad Centre or Ad Manager. So I've got Ad center and I'm going to click through here and go to all ads and you'll see a little instruction here saying show more details in Ads Manager. So you want to click through there to Ads Manager and what you're looking for is a number that sat in the URL. So it's here where it's got act equals and you want to grab that number there, copy and take it back to your add and ad account id. Pop it in here and I'm not going to click the button and take you all the way through, but essentially click on that and Facebook will take that away and add it in to your list here under Add Accounts. So should you have any problems with those steps then please don't hesitate to reach out to us via the blue button in the maybe platform, but I hope that helps.
