In this presentation, Polly Barnfield of the PLB Group explains how to celebrate client successes on social media. She walks through a real example – the Samsung Galaxy S23 product launch – highlighting the use of image carousels, detailed captions, and strategic tagging of clients, venues, and team members to amplify reach and engagement. The talk then shifts to measuring the impact of such posts via the PLB Group’s social media dashboard, which provides in‑depth reports on follower counts, post volume, engagement rates, per‑post interactions, and top‑performing content. The speaker emphasizes that these insights help agencies demonstrate value to clients, inform board‑level discussions, and continuously improve social media strategy. The session concludes with a call to action for viewers to ask questions via a help button.

Today we're looking at how to celebrate the wins using social media. This is the PLB Group and they deliver lots of different services for their clients and from social media videos to sort of disruptive events and things like that. And then what they have done, I guess through their social media is obviously they've welcomed, you know, their new members of staff. They do like to talk about their customers, but they also just really like to celebrate the hard work that they've put in. So here you can see this was the product launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23. And it was, you know, basically they're talking about what a job well done, you know, that's what it's all about. So the incredible images show, I guess, you know, that what an amazing job it was and how gorgeous it all looked. As you can see, they've done, you know, like, like a little sort of carousel, if you like, of different images and then the caption itself goes into a lot of detail about, you know, about the product itself, about the, the different experiences that people can get when they use the phone and therefore goes into a lot of detail as to why they decided to choose the 360 photo booth to enjoy the camera features whilst having some fun with their friends. So it was all about, I guess, you know, this is what the client brief was, this is what we did and this is us celebr. This is a celebrating, I guess, you know, our success and we're really proud of it. So I guess the only extra thing I would add to that is actually maybe adding in the client, maybe tagging in the, the place, you know, that they did it, you know, the venue, maybe tagging in their team and getting their team to engage with it. But otherwise I think it's a really good view into, you know, like this is what, you know, if I was to hire them, this is the kind of experience that I would get, which is really what this kind of post is all about. It's about celebrating their work. Now if I was these guys, I would want to understand more about how my social media was performing. You know, if they're going to the effort of posting and obviously you know that they're that kind of business, then you know, they want to make sure that their social media is working for them. So I would go to the maybe dashboard and in there they would see their reports. So they would click here on their group name and then in here they'd be able to view like really in depth reports. They can see the conversations that they're having across all of the channels. They can manage their ads, but at a glance, they can quickly see, you know, how many followers they've got across their channels, how many posts that they're doing and, you know, what kind of engagement rates they're getting. They can look at, you know, even the amount of engagements that they get per post and they can even click here and view their best posts across the the time period that they've selected. So I guess it's just such a good way for them to be able to say, you know, like, so say they're, you know, I don't have a board meeting or something like that. They can talk about, you know, this is what we're doing. This is how well it's performing. And guess what? They can learn from it. Now, as always, if you've got any questions, click on the little blue button. We love to.
