Let's talk seasonal content. Seasonal content is excellent fodder for your social media calendar. Using the seasons to help guide you through the year can be a really useful tool when you're planning your content. And in this video we're going to be looking at beauty at the Uber, an Essex based beauty salon and how they weave the changing seasons into their social media. So let's take a little look at their feed. Here we are on Instagram, as you can see and we can see lots of clients images, lots of color and everything is interspersed with text and product posts. So at the time of recording this video, it's spring, we've just had Easter and at the top of the feed you can see that those colours, they spring like colors, they're just prevalent through their feed. Even like in the non client images, we've got lots of pastels, just cheerful gentle colors throughout this upper section. And so when you start scrolling through their feed, you can see where the seasons are changing. So why is a seasonal topical approach important to your followers? Let's break it down. You're creating timely, relevant content. It's relatable to your followers. It allows you to tap into current feelings and conversations. It creates a sense of fomo, excuse the abbreviation, the feeling of missing out. Because what they're saying is like, we're here, we're in this moment, we're here right now, come and join us. You know, as we're looking at beauty, can we get a set of, of nails done to, to match that, that feeling? You know, Christmas nails, springtime nails, Valentine's nails, summer nails. And we all like to feel like we're part of something. We're a group, we're a crowd. And it's also nice to feel nice to, you know, get your nails done or get your lashes done or something and just to feel spruced up and ready for the coming season. So where do you source your inspiration, your seasonal topical inspiration? Let's head over to maybe and the best post tool. So to get here from my dashboard I have scrolled over here to listening and hovered there, right down at the bottom I've clicked on Best posts. So Best posts is a really useful tool and very, very helpful one to get familiar with. You can pop in a location here. I've written Cotolchester in Essex and A Date. And because we've been looking at the beauty sector, I have selected from here the beauty sector down on the left hand side. You can also filter by channel. So we've got a date in and it's pulled up all the national posts, the top 25 best posts on the selected dates that we have in our box. You can also go for local posts as well. You may have fewer as we have here because they're just focusing on businesses that are based in that location rather than national. You can go for anywhere in the UK based on this tool. So take the time to go through the posts that we have pulled up. Are there any themes you can spot? Are there any topical or seasonal content that brands are covering or comparative businesses are covering? And can you talk about those topics as well? Just have a scroll through and see how you get on. And in the meantime, if you do have any questions, then please do use the blue button in your maybe browser as that connects you to us 247 and we love to help you.
