How to create inspiration using social media

Hannah from Trusted Travel uses aspirational imagery, strategic hotel tags, and detailed captions with pricing and promo codes to turn Instagram posts into luxury travel bookings. The strategy includes saving hotel posts, monitoring them regularly, and engaging through comments to stay top-of-mind with both hotels and travelers.

Foreign. Inspiration using social media. This is Hannah. She's from Trusted Travel and obviously her job is to sell luxury holidays and she does that really, really well through stunning Instagram grid where she shows off all the places. Now this one I particularly liked because for multiple reasons, you know, it's a beautiful image, beautiful destination. Obviously she's trying to sell luxury travel, so it needs to be as. So the pictures that she's chosen are obviously all as aspirational as you can possibly get. You know, like the stunning views. Look at Emma. It's, you know, like the most, you know, I suppose expensive or beautiful hotel that she's chosen and everything about it screams luxury. And then when you actually go into the detail, you can see, you know, it's Easter break, so she's trying to sell it for Easter and she's pointed out that it's on the iconic palm. And then she's gone into lots of detail about how much it is, what you can do, you know, and, and giving you an offer code as well to try and get people to. It's just the. One of the biggest things that I noticed as well was that, you know, so you create inspiration through, I guess, you know, some really stunning imagery. You know, that's what Instagram's good for. It's, you know, it's to try and drive people to do something or take an action off the back of it. But in order to do that you need to stop them scrolling. But I think nothing has a stop scroll effect than, you know, having a stunning image like this. So that's the first bit. The second bit is that she's also tagged in the place as well. So she's tagged in the hotel, which means that they're more likely to share. Share her post and more engaged with it. And then anyone who I guess is engaging with that hotel is more likely to see it and maybe want to rebook. So, you know, it gets quite targeted as well. So I guess the inspiration is not only in the image, but it's also in the place as well. And the tag and then actually going into all the detail about, you know, the, the two adults, where it is, the deluxe room, you know, all of that stuff, I guess is again going to entice you not only to, to have. So you've got the inspiration from the image, but then you've got the caption which makes you actually want to take action off the back of it. Now if I was Hannah, what I'd be wanting to do is maybe create a group on maybe with all of the hotels that I regularly, you know, use or sell, for example. So you can go into maybe, and you can create a group. So you would literally put in, in here the hotel. And you might do, I don't know, like your top 10 hotels, for example. You would pop them in and then what happens is you would choose them. So I'll choose cafes just for now, just so that you can kind of see what that looks like. But you would create a hotel group and then what comes up is basically all the latest posts, hotels. So it means that then she can go in and she might be able to, I don't know, engage with them. She might comment, she might, she might repost, things like that. But it just means that she is, I guess, creating. She can recreate content, but she can engage with them, which means that you know that they're always going to be front of mind. And naturally, if you've been to that hotel before, you're probably following an Instagram. And then you're much more likely to then refollow her back and then book another holiday. Now, as always, if you've got any questions, click on the little blue button. We love to help.
