How to create taggable content on social media

A cinema brand used a looping graphic about January blues to ask followers to tag friends interested in specific movies. The tactic works for any business: create simple video content with a clear call to tag, monitor responses in comments, and organize accounts into groups to track what drives engagement and foot traffic.

Foreign. Taggable content to drive football. Now, this is the od, which obviously is a national brand. However, what they've done is they have. This is the cinema and Air, which is up in Scotland. And what they've done is they've created a little sort of video, if you like, or a little graphic that's turned into a video. And they're talking about how the gloomy weather forecast and those January blues. We've got some testic films to shine a silver light and silver screen light into your lives. So this is all about providing inspiration with the idea that you would want to tag in some friends that you might want to go and see some of these films with. So here, if you take a little look, it is literally just, you know, some little, you know, little graphics, if you like, that have all been flipped around. And it is. It's to kind of. Kind of create that sort of want. Want to tag in a friend that kind of, you know, I must tag in a friend that wants to see Amanda Gold OT or wants to see Megan or wants to see Empire of the Light. And I guess, you know, any business could do this. Whether it was, you know, whether it was a cinema or whether it was a theater or whether it was, you know, I don't know, a show that you've got coming up, something like that. It could literally be, you know, you've got your gym and you've got a bunch of different classes. It's just a really good way of creating something that creates intrigue and it shows all the different movies that they've got going on in January. And it just encourages people to, like, comment and tag friends that they actually want to see something with. Just kind of tapping into. Through the comments. Comment. The content is tagging, I guess, where people are now. It's kind of tapping into people. It's giving you a little bit more inspiration by actually giving you the link. And then actually you've got the little. The little video as well, which just provides that inspiration. Now, if I was the audience, obviously they've got multiple cinemas. I would want to be making sure that I was engaging with all of the cinemas. So I would go into maybe and I would create a group which would be literally, you know, all of the. You basically add in like all of the tags. So all of the Odin cinemas. Yeah, add them in here and create a group. So I've just created one here which is just cinemas and these are all different types of ones. But effectively that would be what it is. And then you can scroll through and then they can start to. So say this was the od. And they would start to like. They would start to engage, start to comment on any local content, because it means that, you know, even though there'll be stuff that's nationally driven, that they do like to do some local things occasionally as well. And it just means that, you know, that you've got a mix of the national content, local content, and from a national perspective, they can see what's working and what is not. Now, as always, if you've got any questions, click on the little blue button. We'd love to help.
