In this video, we're going to look at how to engage on a LinkedIn post as a business. So, as with other social media platforms, it's really important to spend a good amount of time engaging on LinkedIn. In fact, we recommend that you spend an equal amount of time engaging as you do posting. So if you can get that mix, about 50, you can't go far wrong. And obviously, if you engage with feeds that you follow, feeds that are of interest to you and to your audience, obviously people are much more likely to reciprocate and obviously engage with your content too. So obviously engaging with a post is to like it, to comment on it, or to share that piece of content. So that's obviously the different ways that you can actually engage. Now, obviously, to find content to engage with, you can either look in your feed under home. So here you will see content from all of the feeds that you personally follow, and then you can also look under notifications. Now what this is quite clever because what LinkedIn does here is it will actually highlight to you if there are any particular posts from people that you are obviously connected with or feeds you're connected with that people are actually reacting to. A good place to find a piece of content that obviously is getting a good amount of engagement. So therefore there's a good amount of interest in. So, for example, we'll click on this post here from Polly because it showed in the notifications that it was getting good reactions. And this is obviously very, very relevant to maybe's audience because it's obviously about social media marketing. So if I want to engage as maybe, obviously I make sure that I'm commenting, reacting and posting as maybe, and then I'm going to give that post and also you can like or add different reactions. And I'm also going to comment on it just here. So obviously to comment, you just add in just here whatever you wanted to actually say. So. I'm going to put in just there where Levin needs best practice ideas. So if I want to comment on the post, I literally just type my comment in there and then click post. And obviously now my comment will appear here with any other comments that people actually left. Now, obviously, if you want to. So we've obviously reacted to the post, we've commented. You can send it by a private message to somebody, or you could also share a post. Now reposting it literally shares the post as it is to your feed, or you can actually share with your thoughts. So I'm actually going to add in. A comment here. So I'm also going to check my. And then I'm going to add some hashtags. So social media tips. So basically you add in here any terms that you think are relevant that people might search for where what you're sharing here is actually relevant to them. So you could put in social media management. So that will I think three or four is is sufficient. So I've put here lots of people reacting to these four best practice ideas to keep your feed super creative and give a winning edge. There we go. And then so that will share that original post to my feed with my thoughts and then I'm going to click post. So that's just a quick run through how to engage with the post, how to react, how to comment and how to share a post to your feed. Hope that's been useful.
