We're going to have a look at how to engage on Twitter. So this is a profile we've set up for our how to videos. So we're not following a lot of accounts on here yet. So the first thing to do is actually find relevant accounts to follow, so ones that are of interest to your business. So I'm going to follow the main, maybe tech Twitter feed. And when you follow someone, what that means is that when you go back to home, your newsfeed will be full of posts from the feeds that you've actually followed. So it just enables you to see a collection of posts, obviously from organizations or feeds that you think are relevant or of interest to your business. So when you actually see a post that you want to actually engage with, you've got several different options. The heart just here is where you simply like a post. So that's really useful. Comment or reply is where you can actually reply to that particular post. So I'm going to put this. Training was really helpful, thank you. So that comment will actually go onto the post itself. You can use emojis or characters, whatever you'd like to actually use. So that's actually a tweet, that's. That's been added as a reply to the particular post. But if you want to share it, you can either retweet a post which will just directly share the post as it is onto your newsfeed, or you can quote tweet. And quote tweet is when you actually add a comment to the post. So I'm going to pop on here. Did you see this training? It was super helpful. Now, one thing to think about on Twitter, as with a lot of other feeds, is the use of hashtags. Obviously that will join your post into that particular conversation. So the obvious one here is social media training. And then when you want to share it, you can either tweet it straight away or. Or if you look at this little calendar with the clock in front of it, you can actually schedule a post. So that means you can pick a date and time in future when you'd like that post to actually go. So that's really useful if you don't want to send it quite yet, but I'm going to click just tweet and then that post is gone. So, just to summarise, there's a number of ways you can engage on Twitter. You can, like, you can comment or you can share by retweeting or quote tweeting, if you actually want to get involved in relevant conversations. And it's easy to actually do that. So I've just posted, obviously, using the hashtag social mediatraining, so you can type social media training up in the search bar top right, and that will effectively give you all of the posts that include that hashtag. So if I go to latest, obviously you can see the posts that I have just shared. So if you've got a term that's relevant to your business, it's definitely worth considering also getting involved in that conversation too, because obviously other people are also tweeting, including that topic. So I hope that's been useful. There's a number of ways to engage on Twitter. If there's any topics you'd like to know more about, please use the search bar. Like for example, hashtags and I'll see you on another video soon.
