In this short instructional video, Speaker A outlines a strategy for amplifying customer reviews on social media by turning satisfied clients into on‑camera brand advocates. Using Dropbox as a case study, the video shows how a North Austin hard‑seltzer brewery (Speaker B) leverages Dropbox to coordinate with multiple marketing firms and then records a testimonial that highlights how the platform supports their production, sales, and marketing workflow. The presenter emphasizes that filming customers talking about their experience—covering the "what, how, and why"—creates authentic, shareable content that benefits both the customer (extra promotion) and the host company (social proof). The core message is that any visual or written customer review, especially video, should be captured and distributed to boost engagement and credibility on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
Today we're looking at how to maximize customer reviews on social media. Like here, Dropbox. Now Dropbox is an amazing software company where essentially you can send really, really big files and you can store your files and do it securely. Now obviously with anything like Facebook or Instagram and anything like that, what they want to do is they want to engage with businesses. Now nothing engages like this and I'm just going to show you and then we'll explain it.
So we're producing our hard seltzer out of our brewery in north part of Austin, Texas. Up there we employ four marketing firms. Dropbox makes it easy to communicate with everybody. It's essential that we have direct communication with our marketing firms and production and sales. Dropbox allows us to put everybody together in one place, come up with some great ideas in a creative way. We see some great things in the future and Dropbox is going to get us there.
So as you can see, what they've done is they have engaged with one of their customers who said a really good experience, they have asked them to share their experience, they filmed it and then they have, they have basically got them talking about it. They're showing they're. So not only are they promoting their customer, which is an amazing thing to do. So you know, by doing this, you know the customer is getting huge promotion off the back of Dropbox's marketing budget if you like, but they are getting excellent exposure themselves because actually they're showing that a customer is actually talking about them, a customer is talking about them positively. A customer as a business is showing how they would use it, why, what and where and talking about the benefits of it. So there is no better way of using customer reviews and actually asking them to do like either a face to camera or something like this where they can actually talk fully about what you do, how you do it and how that supported their business. So anytime you can get a customer to film, anytime you can get any pictures or at the very least go on and share your customer reviews, it helps so so much.
