In this tutorial, the speaker explains how to maximise the impact of a Facebook presence by using both feed posts and Stories, illustrating the approach with the Visit Devon tourism page. The video highlights the value of posting the same competition content as a regular post and also as a Story to capture audiences who only view one format, thereby increasing engagement. It then outlines a strategy for reciprocal promotion with local businesses: using Facebook’s location filter to find active local businesses, then liking, commenting, sharing, or creating posts about them to generate digital sign‑posts back to the brand. The speaker emphasizes that multiple touch‑points (posts, Stories, local business interactions) create more opportunities for users to engage, and ends with a call‑to‑action inviting viewers to click a help button for further assistance.

Today, we're looking at how you should make good use of your stories as well as your posts to get maximum impact. This is Visit Devon, a tourist attraction platform. And its Facebook page features a lot of beautifully professional photographs of the local area and vast attractions. And as you can see, they also regularly post lots of fun local facts about the area, which is one of the things I absolutely love. So here you've got. Did you know that Plymouth Royal William Yard is home to the largest collection of grade one listed naval buildings in the uk? So, as you can see, they're trying their best to get engaged. One of the things I love about them is that they don't just do one competition, they do multiple competitions. They put their competitions here. So they've got one here for the hideaway. Now, what I like about this is that they did their. They did it as a post and then they also then did it as a story as well, and they added it into the stories, which got them even more engagement. So it's. To me, it shows that if you demonstrate. Sorry, it demonstrates that if you have a post on Facebook, then make sure that you're adding it into your stories because it means that multiple people see it. So there's people that only watch stories, there's people that only watch. That only watch your feeds, and there's people that don't see your feeds and might only see your stories. So it's all about making sure that you get extra bites of the cherry and get people to engage as much as possible and get the multiple opportunities to get involved in the competition. Now, if I was visit Devon, I would want to be making sure that I engage with as many local businesses as possible so that they can keep promoting me and I can keep promoting them and just obviously keeps the economy going all around Devon. So I would go to Engagement Engage and go to location on maybe, and then you would pick Devon, and then here you click local business and then up here you will see all of the local businesses that are getting a super amount of engagement on social media right now. And then I would be going in there and I would be liking. I would be commenting, I would maybe even be sharing, I would be creating a post based on them. Because guess what, the more that you engage with them, the more you're creating a digital sign post back to your own business as well. And the more people are going to come and be, you know, so if they're interested in CrossFit, they're going to be. They might be interested in other things that are going on in Devon as well. If you've got any questions at all, click on the little blue button. We love to help. I would have.
